    ive watched this review review and to be honest having a chrome version i am happy with using pellets . i have 14 co2 pistols and generally i find the ones that give me trouble even from umarex are blow back pistols so ive started going for non blowback and i get a better shot count in any case.
    at this point id like to say i watch one of Andy's reviews whether ive seen it before or not because they are great cures for boredom ,i find andy's style very relaxing and the keep me interested time and time again .most of my pistols and all my T4E stuff and 9 rifles have been a result of confirming to me theyre good from andy's reviews.

    An excellent presentation of a very nice pistol , but has it got everything and really hit the proverbial bulls eye ? , not really , for Me I want a rifled barrel and in an ideal world a blowback feature as well , yes I know pellets don't stack very well in a magazine and crushing issues can occur . well there are plenty of revolvers out there with lovely cartridges to place the pellets in and keep them straight . Perhaps the manufacturers could look at doing a short 9mm rimless cartridge , maybe 9mm x 12mm so there's still room for the CO2 cartridge in the grip . Boom there we go , Blow back rifled barrel authentic looking service pistols for the air pistol / replica enthusiasts among us . Oh if only it was so easy ! . We can all live in dreams . Thanks Andy . Shoot Straight Stay Safe & Stay Well .

      What a fantastic combination: rifled barrel, blowback and the brilliant idea of using 9mm cartdriges for the pellets!
      I would be so proud if this would have been my idea.

    Just got one of these yesterday, Wow!!! I can’t believe the quality of this compared to my Glock 19x and Sig M17, they are like toys compared to this. No rattles or loose slides and feels really solid. A friend of mine who is ex military (Parachute regiment and a certain regiment based in Hereford) who had shot the real steel M9 when working with the Americans and didn’t think much it. When he handled this even he was surprised at how good the quality was. For a heavy gun it feels really balanced and fits my small hands comfortably. The only gripe for me is the printing on the sides of the frame and slide. I would have preferred it to have been stamped into the metal and left the same colour as the gun. I love the finish and reckon it will look even better once it’s weathered a bit, my guns are for shooting, no cabinet queens in my collection. Already told the kids not to throw any cans away as I think I’m going to need a lot.

    Hi there.
    quick question. From what I have picked up from a few people on a forum post, I have seen that most people stop shooting after 6 magazines (They say that it is okay up to 8 magazines but prefer to discard the CO2 bulb after only 6) .. I don't understand if they take the CO2 bulb out whilst there is still gas in there or just run it dry? .. Is it safe/bad for the gun to take the bulb out whilst still under pressure?. I have been dumping pellets into a random object until it gets super weak and then dry firing till there is almost no pop.. Seems like a waste of pellets and im sure dry firing is not so great for the gun either..

    Velocity not entirely dependent of the weight of the BB … temperature plays a BIG part when it comes to CO2 👍

    • @jeffslade1892
      @jeffslade1892 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not entirely. If the valve has been set up to self-regulate then CO2 will obey the Gas Laws, plus a time factor. The valve is held shut by the pressure inside so the hammer will open the valve for less time when there is more pressure and vv. So you can get a pretty consistent fps. What you will find is you get less shots per cylinder on a colder day. There is a fine line where this happens but it is the same principles as a gas bottle regulator where the high pressure in the bottle is balanced by a diaphragm and a spring against the ambient pressure of the atmosphere.

I don’t live in the UK any more luckily ( from an air gun point of view ) which means my much loved QB which runs to 50 pounds in the summer sun is legal .. but that’s a much longer story of only 10 shots from 2 CO2 capsules 👍

I used to have Umarex/Walther CP99 from ages ago when it was released, of course the 8-drum mag and all. Now... On Umarex quality, I agree that they tend to make some of the better if not best guns of this type but the lack of lubrication and the frankly disgraceful lack of case-hardening of the hammer, hammer roller and some of the other metal on metal contact points really lets them down. I have one of their legends rifles for instance and even though it's been handled gently the hammer on that is now going to need replacing as it's wearing out faster than a bar of soap in a family home.

    I have got one recently and I'm finding it's hard to aim on the point , I tried adjusting hop up wheel but it still fires low when the hop up wheel is toghtened all the way up, any suggestion? Can this be the reason that I am shooting at very close range about 12 feet and in long shot it will correct itself?

    Frustrating that Umarex can't be consistent with their silencer attachment threads. Having had a really nice carbon fibre custom silencer made for my SA10 14 x 1mm clockwise, it's not going to fit this new pistol.

    At least they could make a rail hole for that new version. It's no fun without a holographic/reflex sight for distant targets/cans. I took it apart and that "hole" on the top is just decorative and not even centered with sights if you wanted to drill hole for screw on that very spot, which is irritating. When I found out this I asked myself why did I paid so much for full metal version without this possibility if it is a replica... And spring puller on mag is very annoying they could fix that too. And simpler CO2 press on system like on M92 Nickel, or foldable handle on screw at least...
    M9A3 is not very practical or fun in my experience.

    Hi Andy, love the gun. But, I lost 2 of the rotary clips already. Thus I am trying to find a place where I can pick up a few. Umarex does not have any nor do any of the other joints I tried. Can you help me out and point me in the right direction?
