Just got my SA 10 and it fulfills all the claims. I'm getting 430+ fps with 7.5 gr lead pellets ! Shoots to point of aim, and handles great. Umarex hit another home run !
Hi Andy . I've just bought a new SA-10 . Only fired a few shots at this point , but boy was I amazed at the feel of the power of it with the blowback action, and the crack from the muzzle is pure bliss. Looking forward to getting some serious plinking done soon and will report back , but your right , a great pistol.

Hi, bought one of these yesterday as a direct result of your review despite having looked at Glock 17 gen4 and Sig X5. Plus my local gun shop had one on the shelf at £135, we had a great afternoon in the garden (6 adults & 3 kids) got through around 400 pellets and only a handful of CO2 bulbs. Taught the kids and ladies range safety and siting tips both with targets and cans. Brilliant gun and review, thanks. Now looking for a Nova Vista Alpha based on your and other reviews but they seem to be out of stock everywhere
If you bought a CO2, you’re weren’t shopping for a gun. The Glock or the Sig would have been a better use of money. Even a Highpoint would have been a better buy.
@@RyanGr33n the Glock would have Also been a co2 version and it's more expensive and I think the loo/feel cheap when I went looking at some couple days ago
With your advice and reviews I've bought an SA10, my first Co2 pistol (£135) and I'm very pleased. Hi iv recently bought a sa10, and I think it's one of if not the best multi gun on the market, its so balanced, and great to hold in hand, and the looks a fabulous, now for the sights , I hit a metal cloths line , first shoot, from 50m away and I got a PING!!!!! Every shot , so I feel its a great weapon , for pest control, or just a bit of fun . Great work on this one umrex, 10/10
zu Lwowitz Problems with SA 10 and those circulars mini-mags is evident from instruction videos and users’ review letters . I have shot several thousands steel BBs (they are faster than any pellet and make more recognizable impact ) and pellets of at least three basic materials : lead , composites , and single light metals with the range from 5.3 gr. to 16.20 gr. All the pellets did was to ruin my first SA 10 by getting out of mini-mag with bores in the rubber too big and getting stuck in the big mag with no easy way to get the mag out ; couple of them even crashed into each other in the barrel when the first somehow got stuck there ( all open to confirm by my dealer and my reviews letters ) . So , now I am merrily shooting only BBs using only the “BB plastic mini-mag ,”----- hoping that some dealer sells me couple of these plastic guys for a few bucks----- and both , me and the pistol , are happy .
Andy love your reviews, I have watched most of them I think! I would like to ask you if you could ad the specs to each gun not just in Metric, but in Imperial units as well> Not all of us old schoolers have caught up to the Metric units, and still read tape measures and everything else in the old school Imperial! lol
For information, the muzzle thread on the SA10 is M14 x 1.0 conventional right handed. The double ended Nuprol Viper silencer which has both CW and CCW threaded ends fits, but doesn't do a lot and fully masks the fixed sights due to its 32mm OD. I've just had a bespoke Carbon Fibre silencer made up for mine for the sake of the neighbours, as the SA10 has quite a bark.

If you struggle to get a mock silencer for the sa10, umarex knocked out a cheap one for the glock 17 dual ammo. Sa10 is right hand thread and glock is left, but the silencer is threaded both ends and will fit either. Only about £12
I just picked up a Umarex Smith & Wesson M & P 40, Any chance of doing a review on that piece? I wasn't sure if maybe you did it before and may have deleted it, I didn't see it in the collection of videos. Love the channel! Can't wait to see more! Stay safe, Andy!
Love all AAR reviews and have purchased the SA10. However, so far my only criticism with it is that the lever to disassemble is easily moved and as such my gun came apart when I fired it, make the locking of this lever stiffer It should be more like the safety catch and hard to move
I normally only go for replicas of existing guns as they look nice & have display value but I think you've just sold me on this one. 😊 My only concern is the presumably rifled barrel; steel BB's will wear that down pretty quickly although Excite do copper coated BB's which are said to be safe. I'll also have a look at those Dust Devils, if they're soft they'll probably also be OK too. *Edit* You should have put a link to the DD review in the description! ☺
I myself have an sa10 and it is powerfull and kind of vicious on bbs only..the bad news about it's weeknes is the rifled barrel is no longer rifled because i used it to shoot both bbs and pellets..so it is only good for shooting bbs only..2nd bad news is the rotary mag wont hold steel bbs any more, but the good news is it will hold red riders, black diamonds or maybe coper bbs in the rotary mags..the SA10 also shoots the most accurately as good as a rifle sometimes..GOOD GUN THOUGH...
Always nice to see more airgun videos. Revisited, or not.😊 Before this video I had gotten the impression that even the lower receiver/grip was metal on this one. I was once about to get me one of these, but I then decided to wait a bit and then buy the Glock 17 pellet pistol instead, since it having the same type of magazine but not any golden detailing. This SA-10 still a bit calls out to me, but hearing now that the lower receiver is not metal.. Not so sure anymore. So many plastic framed pistols out there nowadays. And apparently the inner barrel is not as long as I thought it would be, but the barrel is instead a bit too excessively recessed.. Kinda drew down (just a wee bit) on my interest. But it still is a kinda neat pistol in design. Skeletonized slide with awesome detailing and all. And I totally like that it has an external hammer. Maybe gotta get me one even though .. and then just change the barrel coloring to silver or black instead..😁😁 Because, if this pistol has a blowback like the pellet G17 has - then it is just an awesome experience to shoot.😊
Bror Jordas you like the G17 dual ammo? My experience with it was very poor, dam poor trigger pull, sold it and bought the much better quality G17 gen4 bb, better quality, field strippable, much better slide(not the pot tin slide on dual ammo)
@@alexandersupertramp7395 Yes. I like shooting with the G17 dual-ammo. The trigger is a bit hard - but so is the kick. I have gotten used to the stiff trigger. Better groups with that, than with the G17gen4 BB pistol which I also own. But yes. The G17gen4 feels more solid than the dual-ammo G17 and is therefore a way sweeter as a replica product. But the dual-ammo G17 has not got as much of railing either for the slide. Just a bit in the rear of the pistol. The slide front is just hanging around the barrel. Seems like we will hardly ever get "the perfect replica pistol". Always lack either in power, accuracy or the feel of high quality.. or then just something else.
Hi there, love the review, I must have at least 10 co2 pistols and this one is by far my favourite and the best, I also have the laser fitted making it the easiest to shoot accurately, if you can treat yourself to extra drop out co2 magazines and only fire 8 shots off each magazine at a time, this keeps the pressure high and the fun more realistic.
Hi there, ive got the glock 17 model that firers pellets & bb, works on the same magazine system as the sa10, but not the latest gen 4 bb blow back gun so can't comment on that gun. In the two guns ive got the sa10 is a much better a shooting experience, and if you can stretch to an extre magazine or two it makes all the differance.
I love mine but I wish the extra rotary mags fit tighter on their spindles because they fly off when I eject the mag. I stopped keeping them in the gun because this.
One badass pellet pistol. I'd rather take the SA-10 over the Glock 17 gen3 dual-ammo if needed to buy again (own both). Love how it resembles a Sig Sauer in build/design. The Glock has a terribly hard trigger in comparison to this one, even though the G17 is a newer product. Just love the blowback on this one. Shoots hard enough too. Did a pretty sweet thumb sized hole dead center with my SA-10 from my 6 meter pistol range. RWS pellets are awesome in these plastic magazines - and in the Umarex aluminium rotary mags also. They sit just perfectly in there before they go out fast.😁
Now I wonder, as I'm about to buy one or the other, which is more accurate this SA10 or the similar looking , Webley Nemesis,..I wonder if anybody can answer this with some real knowledge. Thanks for this review Andy!
I realize this might be too late by now but honestly I have the SA10 and I really like it have had it for a few months and has held up really well and I am not a big fan of the Webley nemesis because the SA10 in my opinion looks much better, hope you found the right one for you
I bought a SA 10 because of this vid, and, yeah it's definatly great fun.... with Pellets. With the BBs it becomes extremely unprecise. The sadest part is that the Dirt Devil BB's don't fit the Mag, they just fall right through. So I will only use it for Pellets now... works best that way :)
Someone in the UK needs to buy a bunch of the 14x1 R to 1/2-20 muzzle adapters and sell/send them to the USA and make bit of quid.....I tried to buy 100 but no dice.
Thanks for the review, but you did not mention how many good shots you can get in one CO2 cartridge. One reviewer says, you get 'only' around 25 shots because a lot of the energy is being used in the blowback feature. That's a 'No Go' for a lot of people.
Andy, please help. I followed your demo on removing an SA10 slide so I could clean and lube the gun. On reassembly I cannot rack the slide - it remains stubbornly in the back position.
I have bought one of these this week, great gun, but I have found one issue, it seems I have small hands and I can’t reach the safety properly as you demonstrated. Can you recommend a pistol(s) for smaller hands? Keep up the excellent work!
Hi Andy, I have a question for you. If this gun has a rifled barrel Should we fire bbs too? I mean, I already know steel bbs can damage the barrel or not on this case?
Hello from Canada Just bought this. Number 27 in my pistol and revolver collection. Won't get into rifles. Wife appears to lack my enthusiasm...lol I've shot two rotary clips and hot dam this is freaking awesome. I've watched quite a few of your vids and have finally subscribed. You're honest and informative . Cheers from the land of moose and poutine.
Hello mate does this magazine fit the umarex glock 17 dual ammo ? Looks exactly the same apart from glock branding on the slide plate for the Allen jet access. Would it fit in the glock ?
I hope some umarex developer somewhere is working on a pellet feed system similar to the way bb's feed so we can have a blowback, field strippable, pellet pistol that locks open after last shot, so far I carnt find a pistol that has all four of these most desirable attributes, many have three of the four, 1)blowback 2)field strippable 3) lock open after last shot 4)pellet firing but none do all four!
I have a Umarex SA9 blowback 4.50mm BB pistol. Pretty much my favourite gun. Decent power, decently accuracy, and good on CO2. And looks cool as well... ;)
Nice video Sir! For your information, there is an silencer-adapter available for the SA10. The adapter allows you to mount almost every silencer with a ½" UNF-thread (1/2 X 20 UNF& 1/2 X 28 UNEF). The adapter costs approx. £19 or EUR 20,00.
Exceptional as allways and as I said first time round I love mine and I also have to admit to a bit of a gun adiction so it sits very nicely with my others
Because the Umarex SA10 CO2 pistol with circular magazine equal to the Glock 17-2 Dual slide is twisted backwards when you have finished firing the 4.5 mm balinelets and the Glock 17-2 with the same magazine does not retain the slide ??? Thank you
Hi Andy, wonder if it's legal to shoot this gun at home and use it for self defense strictly at home (i.e., never take it out of my house, at least not openly carry).
Try the Umarex Smith & Wesson M&P40. It's got great weight and looks spot on. It's non-blowback though. I think the blowbacks take from the performance and power of the BB's🤷🏾♂
If you think those dust devils are light try the asg blasters weighing in at 1.8 grains, their velocity is 800fps in my daisy and 750fps in a umarex saa co2 pistol

@throwaway3873 I am quite aware of that. ;) But thank you anyway.
You’re so talented ! And funny
Someone in the UK needs to buy a bunch of the 14x1 R to 1/2-20 muzzle adapters and sell/send them to the USA and make bit of quid.....I tried to buy 100 but no dice.
Thinking of buying this. Its currently on sale for 80 bucks
Nice video as always Andy. Seems like a very good pistol. Think I have to try it :) Have a great weekend my friend. Regards Rune :)
Sir, you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention
So enjoyed the review. I also reach for it for fun times over my other guns. You do good work. Keep it up.
Love the intro
Hi Andy Have you done a review on the Umerx PX4 storm .177
Many thanks Andy Shropshire.
Thanks for the review, but you
did not mention how many good shots
you can get in one CO2 cartridge.
One reviewer says, you get 'only' around 25 shots
because a lot of the energy is being
used in the blowback feature.
That's a 'No Go' for a lot of people.
Andy, please help.
I followed your demo on
removing an SA10 slide so I could clean and lube the gun. On reassembly I cannot rack the slide - it remains stubbornly in the back position.
I love how you say BBs
Thanks man this a real good back to school gift 😄
I have bought one of these this week, great gun, but I have found one issue, it seems I have small hands and I can’t reach the safety properly as you demonstrated. Can you recommend a pistol(s) for smaller hands? Keep up the excellent work!
Hi Andy, I have a question for you. If this gun has a rifled barrel Should we fire bbs too? I mean, I already know steel bbs can damage the barrel or not on this case?
Hi Andy! Please tell which laser sight your are using, I have no idea which one to buy! Thanks
Most intresting and chilling videos you the best, learned sm
Hello from Canada Just bought this. Number 27 in my pistol and revolver collection. Won't get into rifles. Wife appears to lack my enthusiasm...lol I've shot two rotary clips and hot dam this is freaking awesome. I've watched quite a few of your vids and have finally subscribed. You're honest and informative . Cheers from the land of moose and poutine.
Hello mate does this magazine fit the umarex glock 17 dual ammo ? Looks exactly the same apart from glock branding on the slide plate for the Allen jet access. Would it fit in the glock ?
Hello Andy, what would happen if I exchange the BBs for 4.5 perllets of the same size in the rotary magazine of the Umarex Sa10 Pistol? Can be done?
I hope some umarex developer somewhere is working on a pellet feed system similar to the way bb's feed so we can have a blowback, field strippable, pellet pistol that locks open after last shot, so far I carnt find a pistol that has all four of these most desirable attributes, many have three of the four, 1)blowback 2)field strippable 3) lock open after last shot 4)pellet firing but none do all four!
Another one for the shopping list me thinks !
If only we could have such lovely things ,here in australia!!.....I cant even get Airsoft bbs past aussie customs nowdays!
Got one and love it..badass gun ...EXCEPT mine is having problems with the slide kicking off when fired and yes the switch is in the locked position
is there a link for the lazer? i found clips amo and so much more
I have a Umarex SA9 blowback 4.50mm BB pistol.
£19 or EUR 20,00.
whats the use of a silencer on a bb gun though? lol
I have a suppresor that screws right on no problemo
Interesting. Do you know if it is possible to put on a barrel extension instead of the silencer?
Exceptional as allways and as I said first time round I love mine and I also have to admit to a bit of a gun adiction so it sits very nicely with my others
Because the Umarex SA10 CO2 pistol with circular magazine equal to the Glock 17-2 Dual slide is twisted backwards when you have finished firing the 4.5 mm balinelets and the Glock 17-2 with the same magazine does not retain the slide ??? Thank you
Great vid Andy
Sir where did you buy tour laser in your Umarex SA10 and what is brand name?
I have the sa10 great gun :)
I got one and we love it
