@@Nobodyyoucarabout Haven’t you heard of speed walking? 🤔 Walking at a normal pace on a treadmill is boring so I’ll usually run or speed walk. That’s the reason why I refuse to do it while working
If you have any added stress while you are doing this from your job, you are basically going to have no noticeable gains (in comparison to the time spent) because your cortisol levels are going to spike. Just workout when you have time to relax.
@@mikeytek it can yes. If you have been going to different gyms and speaking with personal trainers for years they will tell you this. Less stress and time in the gym, but doing the right workout is more beneficial. People that hit the treadmill multiple times and stress themselves keep the weight on.
@@Envy13376 I strongly disagree. If I eat the same exact food and keep everything the same but instead of staying sitting down I am standing and walking or just say adding 10-15k steps to my usual day by doing this. I don't see that impacting me negatively what so ever compared to being stationary sitting down.
@@Envy13376 it's walking at a very slow pace. Your not doing anything over the top and it's not like they are doing this for hours on end lol. I personally have a stand up desk and stand part of the day because my muscles cramp up from not moving. If I could walk instead of just standing I would do it. Before stand up desk my muscles would tighten so much that I would have to stretch out and purposely walk away and get some steps in 🤷
Bro I absolutely need your help. I bought this treadmill used. I have to know what's the right lubrificant for it, also, how it notice you when to lube, if it has a led which turns it on when it's time to lube, and also how to lube it. Please I'm stuck because i don't know if I can walk on it. Obviously I haven't any instructions
@@Fa-id4nf Bro, it didn't come with any instructions? Reach out to the seller/manufacturer and request a PDF for it so you have one for reference. Otherwise, you ideally lubricate every 200km/125 miles with 5-10mL of oil. For some people that's every 1-3 months depending on usage.
you cannot be serious mate..? just make some time, 15/20min in day and go outside for a run or even on that treadmill inside but away from that desk please!!
Lots of snow and ice where I live, plus don't have to deal with any other outside factors, etc.. And doing cardio while listening to something or watching something is also more fun to do.
If you live in a unsecure neighborhood, is raining, snowing or maybe the street is full of potholes and stuff, then this can work for those circumstances. But I also agree going outside and get same air or sunlight if posible.
walking this slowly is nearly useless cardio-wise. It's better to just dedicate time in the day to do moderate to intense walking for the actual benefits that you would want. All this is doing is burning a couple calories that you would be burning from bouncing your leg while sitting.
Standing desks aren't about cardio, but to counteract the effects of prolonged sitting. Moving your body is good for your lymphatic system. Exercise is great, but you still need to move throughout an 8-hour work day whether you exercise or not.
Movement period does EVERYTHING for your body. Sure it's not "cardio" in the traditional sense, but it is good for your vascular health, arterial health, joint health, the list goes on. A walking pad is by no means an outlet for an intense "workout" unless you are severely deconditioned or have multiple co-morbidities, but it has its perks. I would much rather be able to walk through out my 8 hour day, than be completely sedentary. You WILL burn more calories. You WILL be more healthy. People who say otherwise have no clue what they're talking about. Moving, no matter how intensive, has metabolic effects. Same as not moving.

Hello. Excuse me. Is the 16" width actually fine, because you look average size?
I usually walk with socks on.
dawg 30 min mile is not slow. that's a normal, relaxed, stress relieving pace. Walking fast is cringe
NICE BUT SINCE I WON'T BE ABLE TO EVER WALK AGAIN.. I'LL JUST USE MY ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR ON IT.
There IS no description lmfao
Anyone got the link? Thanks
