You should be able to find an adapter for the power connector on eBay for that motherboard for a relatively low price. That LiteOn PSU looks ATX-sized so I'm sure you could upgrade it with, say, a Corsair CV-series PSU (which are on the smaller side and usually 80+ Bronze but available in higher wattages - my own PC has a CV650 in it) and an adapter for not huge investment. Older Dells have proprietary power supplies which are unconventionally shaped so, often, they're impossible to change out (particularly so on SFF and USFF builds), which makes upgrading difficult.
Have a non-gaming Acer from 2017. When I added a video card had no issues replacing the stock power supply with a Corsair one. I wonder if there has ever been any market research done on the percentage of PC gamers who build their own systems versus prebuilts. I'm willing to bet that those who build their own are a vocal minority and the majority of PC gamers actually buy prebuilts, especially if you factor in laptops.
This is a 12VO PSU. If you want to replace it with an adapted/custom 'normal' ATX PSU, it's very important you get a high-quality unit. Standard ATX PSU's are not meant to only provide 12V, so if they do their voltage stability and efficiency can suffer quite a lot.

Hey, i'm buying an RTX 3070 in June, i'm almost 14 and like yea IDK. So, IK that you can use a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 550W PSU. But my question is, how good is it? SO i ask of you to make a video on testing that please, i really need the info! It's ok if you can't, thx anyyways!
Here in the USA the Acer nitro 50 is shown as "Acer Nitro 50 Desktop Intel i5-8400 2.80GHz 8GB Ram 256GB SSD Windows 10 Home (Renewed)" - no mention of dedicated gpu or a hard drive besides the ssd and only an 8th gen i5... And it is $700 USD "refurbished"
That's a nice little system; I have noticed that prices for everything are higher than normal now... Also, I personally wouldn't mind single channel RAM because it means I can then quickly get another stick of the same RAM, doubling its capacity. My HP OMEN 15 being a classic example, it came with 1x 8GB so I immediately upgraded it to 2x 8GB (and then later 2x 16GB).
Would not be that keen on having to find another mb after paying £566. That cooling may require an upgrade... and there's not much space to cram one in! The graphics card is a bonus though!
I have pre built Asus S340 PC with i5-9400F , GTX 1660 6Gb, 16 Gb DDR4 (dual 8Gb), 512 Gb M.2 NVMe SSD and 500W 80 Plus Bronze power supply. I paid 900€ new. If I would have built it myself parts cost would have been 750€ in Finland.
One issue I'm currently having with this PC is that I want to upgrade my PSU to something more powerful than my 500w supply. From what I've come to discover, this PC's motherboard doesn't have a 24 pin connector for the PSU but uses some kind of 6 pin connector. I'm fairly new to building PC's but I can't figure this one out. Literally the same PC as this one but I added more ram and upgraded to an RTX 2060
reason they go with custom mainboard is simple. Most motherboard come with video outputs and if they ship it with CPU without GPU even with big stickers saying connect your monitor here many people would just connect to mainboard connectors, see there is no picture and just return PC and ask for refund. Also this way they can use 12V only PSU and save few bucks there (and make smaller PSUs on mainboard with cheapest parts available probably :))
How do they have both a totally custom motherboard and case and yet the cables are still a mess. It's a perfect chance to put all the connectors in the perfect places.
Should i buy this pc with a i7 10700f with a rtx 3060ti for 1400$ with 1tb ssd or for 1700$ the predator orion 5000 with a i7 10700k 1tb ssd 3tb hdd 32gb ram and a rtx 3070 ?
G'day Random, A PC like this would be a great buy for parents on a lower budget that have kids doing home schooling & a bit of gaming, way better than a lot of the 'Gaming PCs' with a GT710 or integrated graphics for a similar price

I just got this exact machine for about £575. Only other parts I bought were two 8gb sticks of RAM and a 2TB HDD. Mine comes with 512gb of SSD though. Super excited considering the price of GPUs right now. It arrives this Tuesday.
Where, if you don't mind me asking? LaptopsDirect also?
The fan on the back is golden something. I have a 3 pack, it cost 15 pound on red rgb, but all though is cheap, it does it's job! Great video mate!
I went with NZXT for a pre-built pc I know my way around a pc but I'm not confident enough to build one from the ground up.I purchased the Streamer pc with an RTX 3070,I'm just waiting until it's built and shipped.
A couple months ago I scored an HP gaming desktop i5-9400f+gtx1660ti refurb from vipoutlet via ebay for $515. I basically bought a 1660 ti and got a free computer along with it. Even though it was a refurb the ssd only showed 6 hours of power on time.
I managed to get a 1660 super in the u.s. from best by at MSRP 240 using their price match system and b and h photo thankfully had yet to mark up their prices.
I have these specs on my pc, with a palit dual fan 1660s and 16gb ram and it works just fine, i paid 650 euro for it and now it costs 850 which is a lot
only thing I want to know is can the power supply be upgraded
So glad I've upgraded my pc in september, got good deals too, now all the parts I've bought are at least 20% more expensive.
How is that Toughbook doing?
how many SATA cables have the power supply?
Hey, i'm buying an RTX 3070 in June, i'm almost 14 and like yea IDK.
So, IK that you can use a Ryzen 5 2600 and a 550W PSU.
But my question is, how good is it?
SO i ask of you to make a video on testing that please, i really need the info!
It's ok if you can't, thx anyyways!
Is there a USA equivalent to laptops direct?
aaaannd they're gone.... looked on the site they have systems with 1650s for like £850. Cheapest I found with 1660 super was £999
It is on there but the price has been hiked up to over £800.
Never has a prebuild been as more prevelent as these times!!, your rocking it, as is Dawid. AND I'M SITTING HERE WITH RX 6800 XT RED DEVIL.
Can You Tell me The RDR2 settings that you used in this video ? I really need them
That's a nice little system; I have noticed that prices for everything are higher than normal now...
Can I change the graphics card and which once
Would not be that keen on having to find another mb after paying £566. That cooling may require an upgrade... and there's not much space to cram one in! The graphics card is a bonus though!
Does anyone know how I can get the program that tells the performance of the pc?
I have pre built Asus S340 PC with i5-9400F
, GTX 1660 6Gb, 16 Gb DDR4 (dual 8Gb), 512 Gb M.2 NVMe SSD and 500W 80 Plus Bronze power supply. I paid 900€ new. If I would have built it myself parts cost would have been 750€ in Finland.
I am also thinking of getting a GTX 1660 is it any good in 2020 and can it play Fortnite. I’m also not sure if it will work in my Fujitsu Celsius W410
The 1660 can easily handle Fortnite if you pair it with a good cpu 👍🏻
@@DutchMotoRider_ would a i7 2600 be alright as I’m on real low budget and can’t really afford a new CPU
I’m also upgrading from a pretty bad gt1030
@@oliwalter6090 the i7 2600 will be a good choice! Good luck building your pc m8
Hi , I am running a r5 2600 , rtx2060 and 16gb ram at 3000mhz , I play at 1080p 60fps , great vid btw .
reason they go with custom mainboard is simple.
Found my gtx 1070 at the start of lockdown from cex. It was £200. Now it stands at £250 from the same place.

There's something soothing about listening to you talk about computers. Always love watching your videos!
Great review. Running RDR2, my system memory runs at 16k-19k.
Should i buy this pc with a i7 10700f with a rtx 3060ti for 1400$ with 1tb ssd or for 1700$ the predator orion 5000 with a i7 10700k 1tb ssd 3tb hdd 32gb ram and a rtx 3070 ?
Is the PSU really proprietary? Looks like ATX12VO?!
G'day Random,
A PC like this would be a great buy for parents on a lower budget that have kids doing home schooling & a bit of gaming, way better than a lot of the 'Gaming PCs' with a GT710 or integrated graphics for a similar price
couldnt you just replace the mother board? wouldnt be too pricey
Depending on the cpu you could see a gigantic increase in swapping out the board.Compatibility don’t translate too power in the that aspect 😆
Erica 2 to B450 1100 points in multicore on Geekbench 5 and i a higher single core as well 105 points.
On a 3700x.
What is the best i5 10400f motherboard
There are so many different configs for this here in Canada. BestBuy has like 5 and none are like this one. The ones with the 1660 have i7s lol
I just sold my 2060 for €260 a couple months ago to a friend when I received my 3070. I didn't even know there was a increase in price and decrease in stock until today.
So we both got pretty lucky I guess
I got a beast of an rx480 8GB W/triple-fans and huge heatsink/Dual-Bios (RED DEVIL) and never runs over 63C under load for $100USD locally.
They look to be over 200 on eBay. Did I do good ? : }
I play older games @ 1080/1440p I'm running a i5 4690 I got for $50.
Refurbished acer always seems to come through. Got a nitro 5 laptop for about $430 off ebay. Threw another 8gb ram and a boot ssd and its perfect
