Many bloggers seem to defend Sony products, even when they have flaws. I suspect Sony pays bloggers a lot. The ZV-E10 II camera is too expensive. It lacks in-body stabilization. The good stabilization only works with Sony lenses, which are pricey. This makes the ZV-E10 II not a budget-friendly option anymore
@@al3omda92 Active stabilization works also with 3rd party lenses (I own the Sigma trio). But it comes with a huge 1,5x crop. For me the major flaw of the ZV-E10 is the lack of Ibis and the poor battery life + no EVF (which would come handy in sunny days). Today Sony releases the ZV-E10 2nd gen at EUR 1000 here in Europe and still no Ibis. That's priced way too high compared to the ZV-E10 1st gen. My next camera will be the alpha 6700, without doubt.

I think a ZV-E10 II is a heavily crippled camera which suitable only for begginer vloggers who are swithching from the smartphone to a real camera. Yes, you have here many features beyond the smartphones, but definitedly if you want to take good photos in many situations, the lack of EVF, the lack of IBIS and also ergonomics and dials, etc. really worth the additional 400 bucks for buying the a6700
these two cameras aren't the same. The ZVE10ii is made for vlog, that's why it doesn't have an EVF. The A6700 is more about a hybrid. Two completely different cameras.
I think that the mark ii is crippled just as mark i if we compare the current technology. Also for vloggers, the overheating problem in hot temperature environments is crucial, so the solution is the fx30 with a built-in fan. Also, if you are a vlogger that takes photos once a while, it's a very problematic camera
5:57 Out of all the reviewers I've seen mention the electronic shutter, only you mentioned the flickering! Boy am I glad I came across your review before going for the buy, or I'd be regretting it later! 🤣
Great review as always, found an A6700 new for £1135 against ZV-E10 £998 price can be closer than you think. I have original ZV-E10 if I upgrade I will definitely go for the A6700 😎
The A6700 supports the double-row of contacts on the SD card, so if you need the extra r/w speed this is it. You have to buy the SD that has the two rows of contacts, and the price is roughly doubled that of the single row of contacts.
The correct launch price for ZV-E10ii under the current spec should have been $850, although I still think they intentionally cut too many corners that won't necessarily save them much cost.
The lack of IBIS, EVF, physical shutter and AI chip on the ZV-E10II are pretty big omissions, but it's also worth considering the weight because the A6700 weighs pretty much the same as the full frame A7C range.
10:07 my old Sony a700 from 2011 already does that, i was very disappointed when i got an a77II and later a7III that it didnt rotate anymore :/ I really hope all those new Features will also make it to "older" cameras like a7cII/r, a7rV, a7IV etc but looking at Sonys track record of firmware updates i probably expect too much
I think you didn't mention it. ZV-E10 II has a tally light I think, which is nice. I'm still undecided which one to get, but I feel the A6700 is the better choice. There seem to be used ones on the market, fairly new, barely 50$ more than the ZV-E10 II
