Well done Randy! Looking forward to following along as you embrace the old school 😎
I think that ypu didn't waste a minute! You were true fishing and finding them as the rest of the tournament anglers should be doing. I am 100% with you on true fishing during tournaments!!
Thank you Randy!
Good day old school bassman !!!! RESECPT!
Lol
Excellent news. Thanks to a good friend for the loaner. Best angler on that lake is retired now but Norman Seat used to pack the live well in the first hour and wait for the weigh in lol
Get in there , find them bro and fish like you know how ! We are rooting for you brother!
Thanks Randy....all the best for rest of the tournament.🇿🇦
Randy the Allen Iverson of bass fishing 😮
Randy, I very rarely make comments on any TH-cam channels but I have to say I look forward to almost everything you post. You have a good philosophy on life and I really enjoy some of your lifes lessons and common sense. I've never fished in a bass tournament and at my age of 74 will probably not start now. I've always had a problem with keeping fish in a livewell , weighing them in and releasing in the same spot. It has to take a toll on stressed fish. I also bought a Garmin Livescope Gen 1 and used it a couple of times. You are right on target when you say it becomes an addiction as it's tough to not stare at the screen. I took it off my boat and may try it in Florida inland saltwater for redfish, snook and tarpon. To say the least it is addicting and younger anglers have grown up playing video games and now it is just played out on the water. Keep up the common sense!!!!!. One of these days I'll go onto your store and buy something to support your family. Jim
"That's just fishin, man. you do the best you can and hope for the best" - RB. That's the old-school method, right there... It requires tenacity, keen observation, problem-solving, creativity, and brings the joy of discovery without instant gratification. Thanks for sharing those old fishing values and methods... and sharing the journey.
Good job my friend I dig the old school when you go old school that means you sure can fish
Congratulations on your finish
Randy, so very encouraging. Well done. Thank you for all you do...showing us your polished craft and skill. Much continued success! God Bless.
Great job Randy!
Bet it brings back good ol memories... just fishing. Congrats 👏
Great true old school fishing. Way to go Randy. Really enjoyed this. I hope you find your own “new” boat soon. Congratulations. 🎉
Nice! Good luck in the tournament, Randy!
Way to go in the tournament! Maybe practice is overrated and you don't need it with all of the experience that you have! Keep us posted as how you do!!
Loving the hat!!! 🤠 I'm thinking you had more fun fishing today then you have in a long time🤓🤔
Nice job working it out Randy,
Great video! I like how you talked us through the day!
Awesome. Congrats
Great video and happy for you.
Congrats Randy. Love that ya did it old school. Matt Stephan still has his boat for sale.
Great job!
Great job
Great job thumbs up
I like your type of fishing. I’m 60 years old. I live close to Toledo bend in Louisiana. I fish every chance I get. I fish a small lake near my house. Vernon lake. I’m a simple bass fisherman. I don’t use livescope either. I just wanted to let you know. I enjoy listen to your posts.
A big colorado, perchy (yellows, orange) bladed spinnerbait with a charttruesy colored skirt sounded good to me there. Cover water fast to find the fish then work the area. BIG blade. I'm really glad you enjoyed yourself. Getting my new boat monday. I fish in central Fl and it's been HOT ! Jiommy Houston brought back a good old spinnerbait.
Great job Randy! When I club fished I didn’t have a boat so I never practiced. Always was at a big handicap but I did OK for being a kid in his early 20s. That was in 1984. Got out of it because of all the club politics. Glad you’re doing well in the series… Good for you!
Pretty interesting. Awesome job. Really like the approach. I actually drove from Rogers AR and fished a similar pattern in Stockton lake yesterday. Tried a jig for the first several hours on a variety of cover and different jigs. Tried a creature bait but never tried the worm even though I thought about it. My bites came on a spinner bait in 10-12 FOW just outside the bushes.
Randy. very good considering the situation you went into this tournament. Most Pros have practice time, have not had their boat taken away. If some think these things do not affect your overall outcome are kidding themselves, I am routing for you. Stat strong.
👍🏻to you real fishing I’ll take that all day other than someone catching on video keep going
Good job!
Nice work !! Great results on a no practice “just go fishing” day! Appreciate the additional thoughts on your strategy, how it changed throughout the day and cycling through various baits until you hit on the right combination.
I am dealing with very similar conditions preparing for a tournament in Texas.
Loved the old school Ranger with that bulletproof Evinrude on the back!!
well done mate, cheers
I was wondering all day out your tournament was gone. I’m glad it went well.
looking forward to your new boat videos!
Heck yeah randy no spot light, ya friends boat don’t matter. Great job man
Good luck on finding a boat 🚤
Good for you, I seen you carry some heavy bags to the scale back in the day up there.
Good job my friend
Good job Randy
It would be really cool to see videos of you fishing sometime!
Helluva job bud,,stay onem!
If you want to continue the old school style you should do like alot of guys I see are doing. I see alot of guys finding older fiberglass Rangers or whatever type of boat they can get a good deal on and they put new engine, trolling motor and electronics on there. This is an old school boat that has new boat reliability. I have a buddy who runs an early 90's 18ft ranger with a new 175 four stroke mercury and he fishes tournaments like crazy. Just a thought and might be a cool twist for your channel.
Sir Randall great news
Good job
👍🎣 I was hoping you'd get a Win . 💯
Congrats and Happy Father's Day!
I fished that event and we pre fished 3 days cam up with the same plan it was rough 😂
Nice job Randy ! Keep doing what you’re doing !
If you had livescope you could just scan and see where they are setting up
Way to go old school with no practice.
Big ol shit eatin grin from the start of this one! Knew you was in a good mood 😂 well done sir. As if he reads these 🤦♂️
Great job brother, I am 70 will never spend that much money to cheap.I glad I bought my boat before they went high sky.
Great job, Randy! Why does the tree behind you in the video seem to be moving as you move?
John cox doesn’t use it either. I respect that a lot. I think that’s awesome dude..
Way to go “Old School”.
What color jigs did u try first?
So what is the plan for a boat?
How did your barrowed boat go
👍
There’s nothing wrong with going “Electronic Free”, but if it does help, why not use it though??? At least you would know if there’s even fish in the water…. Just why not?
Randy I was gonna fish the Music city division but they didn’t have enough coanglers an I was gonna be drawn boater on boater so I didn’t fish tournament
Randy, are your old school jigs still being sold anywhere? I noticed you are talking about Tackle Warehouse now and was curious.
My old jigs have been discontinued and I am working with Cumberland lures on a new one right now. They will be in tackle warehouse within the next couple weeks probably I’ll let you guys know.
@@randyblaukatintuitive Randy, Are the new Jigs going to be made of Toxic Lead or are you doing the right thing and going to a non-toxic? I did take a look at Cumberland's web site and noticed that they don't have a single offering in tungsten. Maybe yours will be the first ... but I'm not holding my breath.
Is tomorrow’s video going to be. I lost my tournament to ffs because I didn’t get to practice? Here’s why!
Is BFL considered a pro series ?
NO SUPPRISE HERE! THATS WHAT A REAL FISHERMAN AND HALF BASS HOUND DOG DOES!! HUGH RANDY!! 😎 SO.ILL.
Matt Stephan has a good one available 👍
Some of my best finishes, including a win, came with no practice...
Told you- you did good. But just think what #5 would have done...
I keep saying, EVERYTIME Randy goes in without practice , he ROCKS! So Stop practicing Randy
Not bad out of 111 boats and 32 anglers weighed zero fish.
Brush hog mighta worked
Go with a basscat 😁
Randy, what has caused Truman's bass fishing to become marginal compared to the glory days
how did your non boater do? when you don't practice that hurts others too!
Why is a pro sandbagging down to the weekend warrior level? To take money away from the weekend anglers?
Maybe they have tissue there,
Why do the FFS even need any practice? They shouldn’t get any at all.
Hmmm... establishing a pattern eh?....ahem, move on livescopers, nothing to see here- just REAL BASSIN!
Hey man the bass don’t care if you have a $100,000 boat, way to go fishing out of an old school boat.
NO MONEY 😂😂😂😂
Pre-fishing is bullshit, anyway. Shouldn’t be allowed.
Still ZERO Fishing content AT ALL! Lame!
Great job!
