Thanks. Ya I would get 1 bite on a bait then nothing until I picked up something else. It was like that for several hours. Once we got on the bluffs it was a jig n shakeyhead

They were biting on a good variety on that first practice day. I like fishing flooded conditions, seems fish like investigating those flooded areas, and to be up that shallow, in all that heat, during that time of day, those fish weren't playing around.

I'm always puzzled why they will be in one bush over another, assuming it's tje same type and in a similar location. That's what makes fishing fun. The mystery!
