- Whatsup guys , this is a little review of a kit offered by BPSDIESEL.COM for ddec6 detroit 14L for getting rid of egr and the vgt turbo.
It is for off road use only and will need tuning after install of this kit. They also offer kits for older model Detroit's, just get ahold of them and they will give you a good deal on a full kit like this as well , beats the hassle of having to peice everything together yourself and pay shipping on separate parts and peices, this kit has it all, install video coming soon!

Dont really have any good before videos because the turbo actuator was bad already, but definitely will post an after video when it's all said and done!
What's the part number on that manifold and will that manifold work with the ddec6 holset stock turbo for the 2009 14 litre ddec6

Yes very soon , sorry for the late response , wanted to run it a while before I posted my thoughts on it , so far no issues and truck runs amazing!

What's the benefit from doing this?, I have a 14L Detroit series 60 rated at 515hp, does this add more power or increase fuel efficiency?

So I guess I'm a lucky MF I inherited my trucks and been getting to know them have a 2004 Freightliner Century thought it had a 12.7l engine turns out it has a 14l engine was thinking of deleting the EGR turns out I have a Early 2004 that doesn't have EGR a model people wish they had all this learned from having to replace the turbo and doing some work on it motor alone pulled a 78000ib load doing 70mph on highway new turbo comes in Tuesday shit is fucking powerfull af

@@integra_jommy2329 dude turbo been blown didn't realize until I noticed the white smoke and oil coming from the turbo got a new one coming in Tuesday then I really get to feel the power

Oh ues big difference, it was gutless before this , sorry for the late response , but truck has been running awesome with no issues at all , haven't got around to posting an update but will soon , just wanted to make sure everything went smoothly

Did You have the ecm reprogrammed ?

Yes i had to have the ecm reprogrammed and had the egr/dpf shut off completely,
Where did you have the ECM programmed? I called to order this kit and was told it's $2,750 for the kit and $1,500 to have the ECM programed, I only paid $300 to have a new ECM programmed by Freightliner, and only paid $2,000 to have my complete emissions delete, so I can't see $1,500 just to tweak an ECM
Where did you get your kit
I went to the guy who did my DPF/EGR Delete and he says there is no need to have my ECM programmed, just bolt it on, and go

How many pounds of boost did you put
Nothing crazy just a simple tune ,28-32 psi

Yes have to reprogram ecm to new parameters

Had to send out the ecm for a reprogram
Where did you send your ecm out to..I HV a 2009 14 litre ddec 6 already dpf& EGR delete but i still hv the EGR cross over pipe and EGR cooler on..what year is your freightliner
@@YouMfdanny-rk5uc this one is a 2010 and i used bpsdiesel.com they sell the egr plug kit and bypass pipe as well
