Make sure that your Reservoir Hose is also very well clamped onto the Power Steering Hose Connector, which bolts onto the pump. The hose connector that bolts on has a horrible seal that can leak and if it leaks... YOUR timing belt will be covered in fluid and will break. Sadly, it is a horrible design/location of the pump.
Yes. So you can take the bracket that is up on the head past the power steering pump but the bottom ones that are attached to the frame you really don’t need them back on !
@@thamtac209 so…. I did not have a special tool but the way i see it always something is in the way…. So i was very patient and used i think 19mm wrench and quarter turn by quarter turn i got it off and than on… lil tip: when you try to put the fitting in and wiggle with your left hand the hose at the pump, it will help you big time ! I think i mentioned this in the video… good luck !
@@JaidenStylezTV i used a regular wrench 1/4 turn at a time, not much room to put a camera down there. Also i respond to another similar comment about how to tight the fitting. Wrench i think it was 17 or 19 mm and 1/4 turn at a time and i also explained in the video how to help yourself to How tu Aline the fitting to the steering rack. Good luck !
