    This worked on my 2003 Honda Pilot which is similar in design. I used your method of fishing the line diagonally across the back of the engine. I was having trouble getting the flare nut started but loosening the four frame bolts was the trick that allowed me to get it in. Axtuo, take care and a big thanks for this great video!

    Yo amigo I have a 1998 Acura RL Premium I just bought. The car is as if it just came out the factory yesterday inside and out. The only two issues I am working on fixing are the odometer display and the infamous power steering whine.
    For a 98 this vehicle is loaded with all the bells and whistles but the engine bay looks like a modern car, everything is tight and tucked. Long story short my brother I cannot for the life of me find a video specifically replacing the power steering pump on a 98 RL Premium. And your video is the closest looking thing I’ve come across because the pressure line has multiple sensors on it.
    I don’t want to just start changing parts but theres literally not a drop of oil leaking anywhere. In fact the whine didn’t start till a couple days after buying it. And I don’t want to start taking it apart without knowing the do’s and donts. Real talk though when I seen you don’t the whole pressure line one handed and mad calm it does motivate. Thanks in advance for any input, no rush on a response I’m not gonna do anything until I get the cluster back from the repair guy. Stay up. ✊🏼

      ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹 that's love right there, pause! Thanks for the support and the positive energy.
      If nothing it's leaking, it might have air in the system, or the pump is not performing as designed.
      Let me know how you doing with that.
      Stay strong!!!! 🫵😉

    Did you have to vacuum the system after the repair or can I just fill the reservoir up and turn it on?

    • @AxtuoAx
      @AxtuoAx  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You don't have to vacuum anything.....pour the fluid in the reservoir and steer left and right with the engine running til the sound goes away...and that's it

      Before you tight any bolt 🔩, make sure the part goes where belong then just put the bolts but don't tight them yet, once everything is in position, tight the bolts. After that, if still doesn't go back in place, you might have the wrong part.

      Idaho. I ended up tightening with a pipe wrench crows foot. Started by using a zip tie through the square hole to hand tighten. Then finished with a stubby ratchet with a handle that can adjust its angle to the rachet head. Hard to describe

    Very poor design, I'm doing same job without a lift for a family member so of course a freebie. This job definitely sucks all cause of how they designed it. No room, everything is rusted and bolts breaking off. Next time I will pull the engine out lol. Wait..won't be a next time cause I'm not going to work on this vehicle again. I'd rather them scrap the vehicle to be honest. Over 240k miles just don't make sense to keep throwing money at a rusted pile! Thanks for your video 👍
