Spoken like a true Mass Effect fan. Granted, that isn't taking into account those who know EXACTLY who to talk to, WHEN to do it, and in what order, but that is mostly the Speedrunner subset of the fandom. Different rules apply.
How tf do you play the game I can't figure out where to go I killed like 7 enemies on the first mission beacon blew up. Some bitch alien council accused me of something and now I'm running around some city not knowing where to go
In the first game, you actually have to invest points in Charm or Intimidate to get the special blue and red options in dialogue. Just filling up your Paragon or Renegade meters is not enough. In the second game, the special options become available as you fill up your Paragon or Renegade meters, so it's best to pick one and use it almost exclusively. In the last game, your persuasion options are unlocked by the new Reputation meter, which gets filled up as you complete missions regardless of whether you choose Paragon or Renegade options.
It takes 3 playthroughs to get Charm or Intimidate for free as you get 4 points for filling up paragon/renegade per run, thus you can spend 12 extra points in other things
Good tips, thank you! I got the gist of it. Currently emptying the list of side quests on me1 with a high paragon lvl. Went with charm maxed up and some intimidate points.
Nah, I chose freely and did it how I wanted. If I felt nice I did paragon and if I felt like being a bad ass didn’t do paragon. I have both half’s of the meter thing in the menu in mass effect 3 of Both sides. So I can choose which ever I want in mass effect 3. So I disagree on just sticking to one. Ruins the game play.
My best tips: Consider squad powers/abilities to be your abilities. Always use them just as if they were on your character. Get to know what they are and how to use them best. And level them up. And unless it's for story reasons, don't use strictly combat characters in ME 1, like Ashley, who is just a soldier. You want a squad with powers. Guns are just a bonus, as your Shep is gonna be doing most of the gun kills (unless they've made the squadmates better at that in LE). Always have at least one techie and one biotic. If you want a soldier, let Shep be the soldier class. In ME 1, if you don't have a techie in your squad with decryption, you're gonna miss out on tons of loot. If Shep can't do it, always bring someone who can.
Ye. If I'm running Infiltrator I got the flexibility of having all my favs, Wrex / Garrus - A healthy mix of damage, biotics and electronics/decryption. But you can swap any of those out, so long as a party member has Decryption etc or brings the damages, like Ash or biotics like liara (but liara has electronics and no decrption)
Yeah i play infiltrator, did on old games. Its nice i dont need high level snipers or mods to shoot decent now, i tend alwaus have liara for singularity and lift cheese.. with wrex for tank or garrus
I love choosing a squad that is related to the mission I'm doing so like the priority mission during the quarian and geth storyline in ME3 I take Tali on every mission or during legions loyalty I take Tali and legion on tali's you get some very unique dialogue
I am just starting the series and this video is the most helpful that i've seen so far. Thanks for making it! I'm about 2 hours in and loving it, but this breakdown definitely answered a lot of my questions. Much appreciated!
One thing that new players really need to know is to always, ALWAYS, focus on leveling up the Decryption/Electronics skill lines either on Shepard or the squad. And to choose one of the Charm or Intimidate lines and level that one up at every opportunity. Decryption/Electronics work as a lockpicking system and will let you access containers and doors that would be locked otherwise. Unlocking such places also gives you xp (and quite a lot of it over time) so that's an even greater reason to invest in it. The Charm/Intimidate lines is basically the persuasion skill line and will let you get more favorable outcomes in interacting with NPCs'. It will also give you a passive bonus when buying or selling goods wich is always useful. ME1 plays a lot more like an RPG than 2 and 3 does so a lot of the classical RPG tropes apply. Meaning that persuasion and lockpicking are essential if you want to access as many places and as much loot as possible.
Here's an important tip for ME2 that most fans should already know but if ME: Legendary Edition is your first foray into the original trilogy this tip will help out big-time during the start of the iconic final chapter The Suicide Mission. Don't turn down Jacob or Tali's offers to upgrade the Normandy SR-2 after successfully completing their Loyalty Missions as while it first these upgrades The Shield Upgrade, The Hull Upgrade, The Power Core Upgrade, and The Heavy Cannon seem like cosmetic upgrades that don't offer much wrong these upgrades are vital in insuring the entire squad survives the initial firefight with the Collector Fleet once the Normandy SR-2 passes through The Omega Relay.
@@Qballiz2kool were I a completely first time player, the kind they're addressing, I now know about several things I may not have earlier, including how lethal a final mission is. They are genuine pieces of advice, but still contain small story spoilers.
He shouldn't have said that. It's cool to suggest players to do that but this game is all about decision making. Let the new players decide on what to do, who knows they'll get surprised because they didn't do a specific thing...
More tips for new Specters :D 1. Inventory limit is 300 but the game will flag you when you reach 250 2. If you are interested in loot than have somebody with level up Electronics and Decryption skills. 3. You up to 4 skill points in Charm and Intimidate when you reach certain levels in Paragon and Renegate. 4. Take extra care when you face enemy biotics, they can be hard. 5. Set your squad to use their defensive skills and you can use offensive when it is needed. 6. After each big main mission new quests unlock on Citadel. 7. Selling items is always better, end game Spectre gear can cost a lot. (Not that you need it on lower difficulty. 8. Spectre gear is sold on Citadel in C-Sec special shop. 9. Use Anti-Synthetic and Anti-Personnel ammo upgrades, they help a lot and you can switch in combat.
Thankyou Cadwoman I started to replay Mass Effect Legendary Edition in 2024 and I saw this video you made and it is very well made, informative and helpful. Thankyou for making it Cadwoman
Great video! It's kinda painful to see new players lack the sense to explore when ME has a lot to offer, often treating this game like Halo or some other shooter sci-fi.. I've seen some players already doing the Feros mission in the first few hours of gameplay, even before recruiting all squad members oof
WHOOPS THAT'S ME I went straight to Feros but I thought I was doing the right thing. I'm still there and not far in, so can I still go back to the ship?
I just got my ship and was considering which I planet I wanted to visit and Captain Anderson said 'you should go to Feros' and I was like yeah sure buddy so I went there immediately
I have a question. In the legendary edition can you select what save slot you want to import to the next game or the game picks the ending of the previous game by default? I ask because I want to have a certain ending on ME2 but I don´t want to import the consequences of such ending on ME3 and previously with the vanilla versions it was easy, I would just import the savefile that I wanted, but I don´t know if the save import mechanic of ME Legedary Edition will allow me to do this.
In the middle of ME1 on another playthrough of Legendary Trilogy, this time on Steamdeck. Still so, SO good. Probably my favorite video game of all time.
I’m so glad you realise that Paragon and Renegade are not a one off choice, literally everyone says pick one and stick with it or you won’t be able to make key decisions, That’s a lot of shit, I played the game and got to make any choice I wanted
On my next playthrough, I'm going full Paragon except when I have to deal with the Council. They are idiots who refuse to see the obvious and deserve to be treated as such.
Wrex and Liara for Tech-Shepard (Sentinel, Engenier, Infiltrator). Garrus + Wrex/Liara for all other classes. Insanity Difficulty of course. or Always Wrex: Best by Test.
I think alot of vets are under the impression that on Legendary you need to still do new game plus and do multiple play throughs for the bonus dialogue options. As someone who beat at least ME1 and is now working on ME2 on Legendary edition I can confirm that isn't the case. I beat ME1 normal difficultly as a soldier class Lvl.57 had already maxed out paragon after only completing Therum and Feros before even unlocking Virmire and Illos. It's all in how you choose to use your skill points. I prioritized Charming, Armor, and Health. The reason I focused on charming was because in addition to having better dialogue options that felt more appropriate to my play style. Charming also gives discounts for buying items and adding Intimidation additonally allows you to sell items for better deals so even if you choose paragon you should still max out intimidation and likewise if your renegade you still want charming. I say this because I knew I could always buy better weapons with a higher damage output then weapons I scavenged. Old players don't have the same idea because they couldn't afford to purchase good weapons because they didn't have alot to sell because every loot cache was bugged so hacking/decrypting had massive input lag. You primarily opened item caches with Omni-gel. So you spent more time trying ration omnigel, like "am I gonna destroy a weapon to get more weapons or save that gel for mako repairs?" Where as in Legendary edition hacking/decryption is fixed and easy so you will more likely have a surplus of Omni gel. Having someone like Liara maxed out in tech means she can auto repair the Mako so you never have to use Omni-gel. So to put my playthrough in perspective I have never played a Mass Effect game up until this point. I got Legendary edition because my friends love Mass Effect. I finished the game at maxed item carrying capacity (you can only carry 300 items), maxed capped on credits, and with 1000 Omni gel. Now my soul tip is to "put away as many credits as you can" the reason I encourage you to put away credits is because the best weapons in the game are actually sold by C-Sec (armor is debatable) but if you wanna be a God you want the guns C-Sec is selling specifically the guns that are listed as limited/spectre weapons. I think they're labeled HWMR or something like that. The final variations will end with X and the regular rifle alone does 380 damage. As far as I could tell the only other weapon coming close in pure damage is the Geth plasma rifle but the condition of Geth rifles is you can't stack ANY weapon abilities on them and they have a weird rate of fire. My suggestion is give them to your friendly NPCs. Where as the C-Sec weapons can be stacked with abilities so I usually do recoil reduction and over heat mods for continous fire. Then interchange Shredder Rounds and Tungsten Rounds because that can tac on +40 damage to either organics or tech enemies which you can interchange at the start of every fight. You can now mark duplicate items in Legendary to making it easier when selling them and managing inventory. Aaaaand the final reason to focus on selling items and boosting money over Omni-gel is because of two over looked items the game doesn't tell you about. Both your medi-gel and Grenade carrying capacity can be increased!!!! So as far as I found you can carry up to 10 of each. They're hidden at shops so check every shop you come across and go all the way to the bottom of the list looking for Grenade and medi-gel upgrades. Then hit the medbay in Normandy before a mission to resupply medi-gel. So if your a soldier like me you can then stack abilities again like Unity to revive teammates and Adrenaline to refresh your ability to revive then pair that with monitoring your team's health and having access to 10 medi-gel and no one ever is really hurt/dead. Honestly you could in theory build your teammates up so that you never have to do any work but then you miss out of experience so 🙄 To put this in context of how OP my build was my friends rushed through ME1 because it was their least favorite of the titles and all them were telling me how challenging the game was but I was walking around having beat Mother B in 5 shots. My friends were adamant that I would struggle with Saren so I timed myself. Was able to use the paragon option avoiding the first clash and beat Saren in the final battle in exactly 5 mins (including the cutscene in the middle of the fight). So my advice is to take it slow and read everything because tiny hints and abilities make it really easy to wreck enemies at least in ME1.
Great video I’ve had trilogy for awhile never really got into it back then, I bought andromeda and played that and loved it and then went back to trilogy and on Series X with backwards compatibility it’s so good and of course legendary edition is so good, spent 5 hours or more in citadel, chatting, exploring, chatting some more, some time in the casino 😜, shooting some bad guys and just taking in all of mass effect goodness.
I have played the original series 15 times. Got the LE and on ME2 have a interact bug which makes it impossible to click on items, enemies, npcs, etc. Sucksass
I agree all players should play the trilogy in order, search every planet, every place on the citadel and other planets there are many side-quests that will help in me 2 and 3 if you did not miss in me 1 for example, i finished over 10 times the trilogy and 3 times the legendary edition and it never gets old for me i could play it 100 times and still want to play more. If you don't want to miss any conversations you should go to talk to the crew members after every main mission and side-quests the most unique conversations you will find in me 3 and it will take a lot of time to finish the game this way by some things you can find out are great, as well after every main mission in ME 1 visit Anderson's office and you will get a small cut-seen every time where you will see anderson and udina talking about... do it to find out :).
Love slight council dialog when Saren removed from Spectors. The Adrian member no longer says he is "disbarred", which actually means he can no longer function as a barrister, lawyer, attorney. Turian now says he's "removed" from the Spectors. Though the term "barrister" is still valid, British Commonwealth nations like Canada or the US use solicitor (except US) or attorney or lawyer. All practicing attorneys in the US have to pass the State Bar Exam. Most not in the legal profession never commonly use the older term Barrister. I think in the UK "bailey" is used, like on the show "Rumpole, The Bailer" for the 70's or early 80's.
Also does anyone have any tips I’m stuck on a mission, trying to find Liara and faced with a geth boss fight and lot of enemies and I’m a soldier Shepard with Ashley and Tali who are no help and go down quick and I get one shot by a laser. I kept trying for over and hour then turned mass effect off and haven’t gone back 😔 😭 but I’m missing it and want to play so much more. Thank you for reading
Put points in their armors options to be more tanky. Use those grenades and sniper. Head shot is supper effective. High explosive mod and chemical rounds
Use cover, save the colossus for last, use the time between the colossus attacks to take out the smaller geth. Use abilities on the agile geth. Trial and error. You got this. You are Commander Shepherd.
Fun fact I got it done and wasn’t that bad really, used Ashley and tali’s abilities more kept an eye on Omni gel just hanged out to the left and took enemies out then just fired on boss, I died once when trying to rush it but slowed down took my time and got it done. Also got the krogan boss out to, he took a couple of goes but he’s dead and Liara on Normandy 😀
Tip one punch and shoot everyone non essential including chorban, tip 2 save the rachni queen and everyone on feros, tip 3 glitch both renegade and paragon to 100 with the turian on novaria. Finish me1 with all content finished, me2 take all paragon and renegade interrupts help all quarians, finish all missions keep all squad mates alive and destroy the collector base. Being rude to some squad and nice to others complete zaeed last with him as one of your nice squad.. you have a maxed paragon and renegade account by end of me2 now have fun with whatever route you choose to take.. don't blow off Conrad always ask him what he wants then blow him off

I found Garrus to be the most useless squad member. Make no mistake, I love him to death, but he was the worst teammate. He was always down super fast no matter what armor I gave him. I was so happy when he was Born-Again-Hard in ME2. He could finally hold his own in a fight. My squad was always Wrex with Liara( or Tali if the tech was needed).
Did you know ME3 multiplayer is still goings strong with a good player base. Also new players can just download mod tools so they don't have to grind to unlock all the weapons/attachments etc.
In me1 the side quests aka mako collectibles i know are long and boring but some get referenced in me2 and 3. Top of my head i know completing the mineral collection on the run you are going import gives bonus supplies in me2. Save wrex. Always, he adds so much in me2 mainly me3. Also.. cerberus!
With this new edition You can have 100% trophies in mass effect 1 just be careful in the normandy. speak with Nilus and Anderson about the protheans for the archivist trophy if You miss this You Will be fucked up
My advice play all three games without dlc the first time I like the original games more with the dlc spread out having all the dlc at the start of the game is a big mess
not really one being more RPG than the other. On Legendary, you level up slower, but you get more points to allocate per level. It balances out. Legendary does feel a bit more rewarding imo
Keep in mind Liara T'soni may become unavailable at some point. Therefore it's a good idea to recruit other biotics as well. For example Samarra and Jack. As the saying goes: "Don't put all of your eggs in one basket."

The lack of 4:35 in Mass Effect Andromeda is why I won't finish that game. Managing my squad mates was really fun for me and it enabled quicker combos. It also was a call back to the earlier Bioware games where you would pause and enter a command and see it executed. Fun times. Good tips!
@@OHCAM5 If so, not to the extent that you can in the original trilogy. I seem to recall they would use 1 out of 2 powers available or something like that, but you couldn't guarantee what they'd do so it definitely wasn't as tactically inclined, at least in that respect.
Good video, although I do somewhat disagree with you about the paragon/renegade options, particularly for newcomers to the series. If you don't pick a side and stick to it (mostly, the odd deviation from light to dark or vice versa shouldn't matter too much) then you will almost inevitably miss out on the morality choices in later dialogues, especially towards the end of the first game. There is nothing game altering if you do miss out, but from the perspective of building your own lore and legacy for your shepherd, it does matter.
If you care about the ending of the entire saga, don't play blind. Use a guide. Some decisions will seem irrelevant at the time, but will factor in at the end of the 3rd game...like having someone feed your fish in the second game. If you must play blind, Paragon choices regularly contribute more to the end...but not always. As an example for "not always," in the first game, purposefully letting 1 NPC die who is helping you and murdering one of your own squadmates contributes more to the end of the third game than saving the NPC and negotiating with the squadmate in question to keep them alive. Without a guide, you wouldn't even think to do these things even if you were playing as a dedicated Renegade. There's also a decision in the second game that doesn't directly affect the end of the third game, but makes inacting another decision in the third game decidedly easier which does affect the ending. But they give you a lot towards unlocking the only ending to the third game that fans actually found acceptable. If you want to know what I'm talking about, I'll put it in the reply section of this comment, that way if you want to avoid spoilers stay out of my reply section. :)
-Yoeman Chambers in the 2nd game feeds your fish after you befriend or romance her and ask her to have dinner in your quarters (her romance doesn't unlock paramour achievements in ME2LE, but will in 3 only if you start in 2, keep her alive in 2, and rekindle in 3)...don't ask me how this affects the war assets, it's stupid, but it somehow increases them -Let Captain Kerahee die in ME1 (Salarian commander on Virmir...final small building you encounter in your assault that would help him if you disable the drones, don't disable, just go for the main building) -Kill Wrex in ME1 when he freaks out about the genophage cure on Virmir (or have Ashley kill him); his brother, Wreave in the 3rd game, can be fooled into sabotaging the genophage cure, Wrex can't -destroying the geth heretics in Legion's loyalty mission in me2 makes negotiating peace between the geth and the quarians easier in the 3rd game Many, many more decisions affect the war assets at the end of the game...even not punching the Fox News bitch in the face when she interviews you on the citidel in all three games. The games try very hard to bait you into punching her too, and she absolutely deserves it lol. If you Paragon her, you embarrass the shit out of her, so hold your ground. If you want to see her get knocked out, watch a Krogan do it on a security camera at the end of the Shadow Broker DLC. Ahh catharsis.
🤔 THAT'S THE REASON!!!! WHY I COULDN'T MAKE REX STAND DOWN, NOR CALM DOWN IN MASS EFFECT ONE!!! I Had to pop a cap in that booty every time I replayed that particular mission. SMH (silly me) NOT realizing that I didn't have enough renegade or paragon points to make it happen. Initially? I was able to do so by *mistake, (Rex lived, survived the incident). I didn't realize that these points actuality had anything to do with anything else. (unknowingly I collected what I needed by chance). 😮😮😮😮 WOOO HOO!!! REX IS BACK IN THE GAME!!! sniffs! I missed that narrow minded, HOT TEMPERED, run through you like a MACK TRUCK KROGAN!!!! 😪👍😁👌 REEEPLAAY!!!!
Question... I like action rpgs and i havnt played these games yet.... Are they conversation heavy or is there a good balance of action? On the fence at the moment any advice is appreciated....
I've only played the first few hours, but it seems to be more heavy on dialogue than action. That could change as it gets later in to the game, so maybe wait for some input from someone who played the games previously.
Played through the series years ago. The first game is definitely conversation heavy and it's obvious which responses are for paragon, renegade, and neutral. The voice acting is excellent even by today's standards. The second and third games have more emphasis on combat but most of your time will be exploring and talking. I found the combat satisfying as a kid. Will see how it is now as an adult though. I'd definitely recommend it though. The characters are some of my favorite in any game I've played
to this day i have never seem a better game managing this... it has a lot of Dialogue but is not cheap and pointless..of course you can avoid most of it even...but you'll be missing a lot...is not a rush game and i think the Pace is perfect..not overlylong.... probably 30-40 hours each game doing all dialogues and missions...maybe a bit more with the dlcs but never you feel like wasting time...just remember to talk your squad members in the ship after every mission....
@@GrimDrive The first game is a little more conversation heavy but every conversation is entertaining asf and if you want you can skip most of it but you are missing out aloth on the lore of the franchise. Im not a fan of conversation heavy games myself but mass effect is just to good.
For me, it was worth it just so I could get the Native Controller support for PC. The controller mods for the the original PC releases (particularly ME2) were kind of a hassle for someone who still isn't used to installing mods.
I disagree with the point about renegades/paragons. On the first playhtrough you should NOT CARE about being renegade or paragon. Make the choice which feels the best for yourself. And bear the consequences. Believe me, this will lead you to the best game experience. This will not give you the best results in the end, and maybe you will regret some of the choices, but do it anyway. You will never get a second chance to play the game this way, believe me. You will play the game again anyway, and your second playthrough can be your perfect playthrough, where you fix the bad decisions. By that time, you will lose the element of surprise, though, and never get it back. For the very same reason, do not read about the mission and story ahead. Do not read about how to resolve the challenges, and what are the good decisions. Read it after you finished the game, and use that knowledge on the second playthrough, not at the first one. Remember, you can have as many “perfect” playthrough as you want. But you get only 1 chance to play first, and make your own decisions.
Just finished Mass Effect 1 in 26 hours Insanity mode! Completionist! They really balanced out skills! It’s amazing 🥲 it’s been such a nostalgic ride! I must of played this over 15 times originally haha!
Great review but I just don’t have the energy to go retro. It was one hell of a ride when I played it back in the day but there’s only so many times I can watch Star Wars reruns. Also Andromeda put a really bad taste in my mouth.
I owe all you Mass Effect Legendary fans a great big Giant apology! I criticized Mass Effect Legendary especially Commander Shepard out of my anger against Mass Effect Legendary fans who hated on ME:Andromeda and was criticizing it .Now finally after my ninth attempt of trying to play ME: Legendary (but stopping right during the Eden Prime mission) because I didn’t like it and was trying to find reasons not to because of my love for ME: Andromeda, and finally forcing myself to play ME:Legendary all the way through, I can’t put this game down. I’M LOVING THIS GAME!!!! Don’t get me wrong, I still love ME: Andromeda, in fact, I give credit to ME: Andromeda for making me curious enough to see what the whole Mass Effect story was all about which propelled me into playing ME:Legendary all the way through. As for Shepard- A Bad Ass Mo Fo!! I particularly love playing Femshep. I created one I love which is also another reason why I love playing this game now. Same as Andromeda, it took me creating a Female Ryder I love to love this game as well. I know everyone has a preference but I love the whole Mass Effect Universe! Which is why I don’t mind which one Shepard, or Ryder, they use for the next one, long as I can use the ones I created. In the meantime EA, hurry up and get us the next Mass Effect game please, I’m hungry for more Mass Effect!! With all this being said I APOLOGIZE!! P. S. I’m a male , but just love playing with the female Shepard, and Ryder. I’ve play with both male Shepard, and Ryder but have more fun playing with the female characters. That started with the Walking Dead series because of Clementine.
70 hours is doing pretty much just main missions for entire trilogy, not the first game. Entirety of first game alone is about 24 hours, main missions only 5 to 6.
You should see the amount of people who are skipping the first one because it's too slow etc. It is the introduction to the universe and people skip it. That's why it needs to be said. I love the slower pacing, it is fitting for the theme of the game.
a lot o people avoid the 1 one...it has fair critics but people made it a big deal..with all the improvements they made now there is not excuse...probably the better one....

In ME 1, if you don't have a techie in your squad with decryption, you're gonna miss out on tons of loot. If Shep can't do it, always bring someone who can.
In ME 1, I’m always a biotic , so I have Ashley for combat and Tali for Technology.
Lots of streamers who never played the trilogy needs to watch this video good job 👏👍
Choosing a squad balance really comes down to what class you are playing.
For me, Shephard is biotic, Ashley is the soldier, and Tali is the Techie. I do still swap characters out to get some variety, though.
Don’t bother levelling up Jenkins.
Why not? Jenkins becomes very powerful by the end of the first game. I always level him up first

Dankeschön! The switching squad to "All" in stead of Defence is a good Tip. Stay safe und Gruß von Deutchland.
Why would you turn down these upgrades?
Spoiler alert
@@ARatherDapperTapir really dude, that’s not a fucking spoiler, it’s a genuine suggestion.
More tips for new Specters :D
1. Inventory limit is 300 but the game will flag you when you reach 250
You‘re right. A lot of players are pretty impatient. Maybe because there aren’t many games like ME anymore. Many players are simply not used to it.
@@diromiz You can always go back to the ship but I‘d say if you are there already complete the mission and do the other missions later.

As far as I know you can import a savegame of your choice.

That goffy sniper in original mass effect 1 was something else
Great and direct video. You got the first tips down on point.
Have you made a video on the dlc armory and gear on where to find since you need to buy them now
Great video I’ve had trilogy for awhile never really got into it back then, I bought andromeda and played that and loved it and then went back to trilogy and on Series X with backwards compatibility it’s so good and of course legendary edition is so good, spent 5 hours or more in citadel, chatting, exploring, chatting some more, some time in the casino 😜, shooting some bad guys and just taking in all of mass effect goodness.
Omg i got great advise in the comments, thanks guys!!

Actually it was “Rumpole Of The Bailey”, the “Old Bailey” being a famous court in the UK.

I ran into this same issue. i had to put the controller down and decide if i needed to start over or not, as I only had 1 save file at the time
Fun fact I got it done and wasn’t that bad really, used Ashley and tali’s abilities more kept an eye on Omni gel just hanged out to the left and took enemies out then just fired on boss, I died once when trying to rush it but slowed down took my time and got it done. @@toomanylies7716 I have to go back and play it but I'm pretty sure you could. Specially for the harder difficulties you have to manage everything.
Can we get a tips video for advanced players?
Good video, although I do somewhat disagree with you about the paragon/renegade options, particularly for newcomers to the series.
If you don't pick a side and stick to it (mostly, the odd deviation from light to dark or vice versa shouldn't matter too much) then you will almost inevitably miss out on the morality choices in later dialogues, especially towards the end of the first game. There is nothing game altering if you do miss out, but from the perspective of building your own lore and legacy for your shepherd, it does matter.
That is true except for mass effect 3, where that doesn't matter because of the reputation system.
-Yoeman Chambers in the 2nd game feeds your fish after you befriend or romance her and ask her to have dinner in your quarters (her romance doesn't unlock paramour achievements in ME2LE, but will in 3 only if you start in 2, keep her alive in 2, and rekindle in 3)...don't ask me how this affects the war assets, it's stupid, but it somehow increases them
-Let Captain Kerahee die in ME1 (Salarian commander on Virmir...final small building you encounter in your assault that would help him if you disable the drones, don't disable, just go for the main building)
-Kill Wrex in ME1 when he freaks out about the genophage cure on Virmir (or have Ashley kill him); his brother, Wreave in the 3rd game, can be fooled into sabotaging the genophage cure, Wrex can't
-destroying the geth heretics in Legion's loyalty mission in me2 makes negotiating peace between the geth and the quarians easier in the 3rd game
Many, many more decisions affect the war assets at the end of the game...even not punching the Fox News bitch in the face when she interviews you on the citidel in all three games.

The first one is very RPG but the 2 and 3 get more shooter focused. Still quite a bit of dialog to go through

The only thing I will disagree with is "balance your squad". Take whoever you like - you don't need to have a "balanced squad" all the time.
Wow! That voice 👌👍
this is the best game out
thanks
My tip would be not to play. I gave it a try, but could not stand the movement or character upgrade B.S.

That started with the Walking Dead series because of Clementine.
game lasts 100+ so get "a" cup of tea or a beer? i'm no fast drinker by any means but THAT is taking nursing a drink to the extreme. ;)
😂 ...ok, next time I recommend a beer barrel

"First tip, start at the first game and play the other games"
You can tell this chick is a gamer
Finished the game in 6 hours 70 hours my ass lmao
70 hours is doing pretty much just main missions for entire trilogy, not the first game. Entirety of first game alone is about 24 hours, main missions only 5 to 6.
@@itsmefukker oh ok I was gonna say 70 hours per game would be insane
Even at 6 hours, you obviously skipped a lot of the game. Unless that was your intent and you were going for a speed run or something.
@@MattRowland I have to go back to work Monday so I won't be gaming much so I'm trying to just get an aim for the story
none of the ME trilogy are 6 hour games. a complete playthrough of ME1 is ~40 hours
If you need this kind of tips, ME is not a game for you.
Really? Your advice is to start with the first part? Wow...
Take a look into the Steam forums...... you won't f*ckin believe how many crazy people skip part 1.
@@vankroenen2145 They are idiots.
How about players just play the game? Might be an idea.
How about you send me 3 memes
