Thanks for the honest and straight-to-point review. I guess for students it would be great as we tend to write notes with the iPad flat? And the ability to detach while still having the TPU case on is an insane pluspoint.
do you know if the cover of this case is compatible with the esr rebound keyboard case? i don't mind if the viewing angles won't work. if ever, i just want to use the cover of this hybrid rebound as protection combined with the rebound keyboard case.
The Hybrid is bulky. The Shift is even bulkier. What is arguable in the 2-piece design that essentially nullifies the slim feel of M4 iPad Pro while adding only flappy versatility.
Does ESR uses PU leather only in white colour cases and other colours have silicon? Or there are any other colours as well which uses PU leather? And till now the white colour got dirty or not?
Hello, I wanted to take it but I find it a little heavy? I took a basic case with a protective stylus slot. On the other hand, the advantage of your case is that you can stick to the keyboard of the same brand (they make the keyboard case)
No, you cannot use this magnet case with any of the other magnet cases from ESR. The magnets only work with this case. It does NOT work with ESR’s keyboard case.
Hi jimmy. I watched your videos. Rebound is so bad at holding low angles. But holding pencil is so good. Shift is good at lower angles but it is like a piece of wooden plate. Smart folio is so expensive. And couldnt think it is the best case. I am dizzy now. I will study in lower angles with holding pencil on screen (studying maths etc) and watch lessons in higher angles without touching screen. What should you advice to me?
@@msBlue-rj4loI bought "shift". it is a little bit heavy but it is not important for me. İt is so useful for lessons. I can put my hand on it heavily and also can write easily. The other versions is not good for writing or putting hand on it. I advice shift one. Heavy but so useful.
@@Winter-dr5rc there isnt any flap on it for pen. Only a bag for the pen is in the back of cover. I don't use bag. Sometimes i put Apple pen on the charge place of ipad but mostly put my pencil to bag with charce cable and other things. I bought the pencil bag too. Finally no flap on it.
I don't like the fact that the Shift cover doesn't fold. Having to use it when you don't have enough space makes the whole experience so much harder. Oh, and the pencil flap could be deattachable with magnets
Oh yesterday I just bought this white case 😂 It’s still temporary, but I hope I don’t throw it away fast xd Are the magnets not strong enough, or is it just a little thing for using at home? Btw I LOVE your videos, great job! ❤
Thank you so much! The magnets are generally fine and get the job done but just not as strong compared to ESR’s other products in some areas. The product itself is nice but some tweaks could easily make it a great product.
I see the purpose of the flap that holds the pencil but it kinda just looks weird/out of place when not in use. kinda unrelated question: have you noticed procreate files taking up a lot of storage? I'm wondering if 256gb is a good option if I'm mainly gonna be using my next ipad for procreate and games
yeah, comparing the two cases is really a contrast of form over function and vice versa. The hybrid is a beautiful looking case but the shift is just way more practical to use.

The best review I've watched for this case. Very helpful insights. Thank you!
glad you found the video helpful 👍🏻
Hey man! How rigid is this thing? I really want to prevent bending. Thx for the answer!
i have them both , rebound is a bit easier to work with am no atrist by any means .
Good one for a proper useful product will support you keep it up
Esr hybrid 360 vs Esr trifold which one to take?
Can you use this stand without the case?

@@radelk no, none of the internal ESR cases are cross compatible with each other. They all use different magnets.
Does the folio attach to the ipad without the clear back case?
no it does not
Does the inner case work with apple smart folio case?
Did you also have the problem that when you use the tablet with the case on Apple Pencil does not work properly? It delays when I use it.
Does white colour turn yellowness?
Does white case turn yellow overtime?

Do you think the Hybrid Rebound 360 gonna fit iPad pro 12.9 2020 (4th Gen)?
Great review!

there is no flap to cover the pen on the shift right? do you find that a bit frustrating or do you just get used to storing it in the back pouch?

Is it easy to clean? Worried that the white will get dirty quickly.

256gb is plenty. I don’t think you have much to worry about. I actually have a video coming out in a few days breaking down procreate file sizes.
I like the features of the shift case, but I do find it very ugly cause of the materials.
yeah, comparing the two cases is really a contrast of form over function and vice versa. The hybrid is a beautiful looking case but the shift is just way more practical to use.
So if I get the 360 rebound and use the iPad without the keyboard just the protective case will it stick to this hybrid case to use as a kickstand?
No, the cases are not cross compatible. The magnets only line up to their own specific cases.
Dangit! I had the same question. Seems like such a missed opportunity.
