Having worked in many dairies in my time, and I have seen ALL types of milking sheds, rotaries, herringbone, walk through etc etc.
By far the best shed I’ve seen and worked in was a 20 cow triangle shaped herringbone. 20 cows on each side of the triangle, (60 cows all up) rapid exit and the cows entering at 2 points at the bottom triangle (if you can picture a triangle)
