  • I was traveling Barefoot in city trains in India. This is a video of me capturing that. Staying Barefoot is awesome for health and our posture. Barefooting helps us connect with mother earth, create immunity and is really good for our body alignment. Barefoot walks can cure a lot of health ailments.
It's not necessary if you want to support you can send me a donation for planting a tree in your name. I send pictures every 3 months for a year. We are eating raw food/ fruitarian food we are also creating a self sustainable forest in our off the grid farm. We are reforesting barren lands and also reforesting a Eucalyptus forest with native species and fruit trees- because mono culture Eucalyptus forest isn't good for mother earth and we want to bring back the native species in our area.
You can find the videos in the TH-cam channel of our off the grid setup. We will soon share more videos of farm as we find more time.

Or buy this self awareness journal, I made for the new year. It has 52 questions and affirmaation for every week of the year. I get $5 for paper back version and $10 for hard cover.

It was a fun and interesting experience. I have documented the whole journey, the clips are shaky cos I was traveling alone and was little shy to shoot with so many people around. I hope you enjoy my barefoot adventure!
I have been barefoot since the beginning of February 2020. Walking barefoot in the cities has become easy for me because my soles are so strong now. Even the glass doesn't cut my feet. Walking barefoot on the tar road certainly needs some practice. Otherwise, the soles and the knees can get hurt.
I have been receiving a lot of love for my barefoot videos. I received this request to cover walking in the cities from a lot of people. Hence I made this video to share my experience of walking barefoot in the cities/town.

Our feet get so stressed staying stuck in shoes for long hours. It also loses its mobility. Being barefoot is essential for holistic healthy living so that our feet can keep all their mobility and strength.
To me now I love being barefoot. It makes me feel centered, balanced, and in sync with the energies and environment around me.

Finely observed, I almost missed it between the sandal wearers. (That also shows that it's not really that obvious when you're walking barefoot, most people simply don't care.)

    Hi Kirthiga
What i like about ur videos is the genuineness. U don't suppress the factthat u do carry a footwear ( I understand as an indian). That's lovely. Another message to the reluctant current indian..... NO BODY CARES IF U R BARE FEET..... U and very people i know have the courage... U are different since u are propagating a life style..... benefits.... freedom.... getting connected to earth... Others contend is to get likes..... U are different..... I admire ur posts. they are not for likes and 1 million subscribers.... u are on a mission, which i cud not..... Will be with your mission sooner than later.....

I love riding trains, such as 2012 when travelling through (northern) India. There are a few big differences to travelling here in Austria. One is, all the long distance trains must be booked ahead, sometimes long in advance, there's an unreserved class but that's very uncomfortable, we usually travelled in airconditioned 2 or 3 tier class (and once even had a first class sleeping compartment, but that's rare). In much of Europe you simply walk up and board any train (there's even a ticket giving you a year of unlimited rides including local transport now). The other: Doors are closed automatically, locked during the ride and can only be opened after the train has stopped. In India trains go with open doors and people don't care, I also enjoyed the ride at the open door. But beware, have a good handhold, I have read about people falling from trains.
Anyway ... yes I'm also barefoot all the time. Usually no problem, only once an attendant in the dining car refused to serve me, so I complained to the company and got a voucher as compensation.

    • @ExpandLove
      @ExpandLove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Hahaha wow you got a voucher also! Kickass. Well yes India trains are super awesome ♡♡ thank you for taking time out and sharing your experience. I really appreciate them ♤

@@ExpandLove It's actually a very nice and relaxed way of exploring the country. At least if you're just taking one long distance train per day and not depending on a tight connection.
In Japan trains can be trusted to be punctual to the minute so you can rely on a tight connection.
In Switzerland it's good to have three or four minutes of buffer time. In Germany, fifteen minutes. In India, an hour is risky. (And having recently seen a travel report from Africa I guess you can be glad if you arrive on the same day ...)
Anyway I always arrived at my destination safely, I never lost anything on the train and once I figured I had to go to the deputy station manager in order to get my ticket booked on another train when my reserved train didn't go, things were allright.
Only one thing was annoying: a noisy group of young men in the early morning train Kalka to Shimla, just as I wanted to lean back and enjoy the landscape. It's good to have earplugs then.

Hello Kartika! When I go barefoot, I do not carry any footwear with me. It's illogical to carry footwear for visiting public toilets. If the lavatory floor is really so dirty, you put on shoes to visit it, and then you... remove those "contaminated" shoes, touch and carry them in your hands (!) or in your bag. If the lavatory is really so dirty I would not risk entering barefoot, I would not want entering shod as well.
