    Very good video review. You're doing the watch justice!
    By the way Rolex don't need a killer. They are already killing themselves by not having their watches available easily at retail prices. Not everyone is willing to pay premium prices for a steel sports watch.

      Agree with this 100%. Rolex has turned me into the biggest Seiko and Omega fan!

    The broad arrow symbol isn't just reserved for the navy. It denotes property of his majesty's government (formerly 'her'). That applies to any branches of the armed forces, though yes: Bond was a naval commander before he joined MI6.

      so how was the watch man?

  • @rmthull
    @rmthull 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    The only watch I paid top whack for. Got it from a boutique and wanted the special treatment etc. wanted a special watch and got it. I bought a speedy 3861 earlier in the year but this is my favorite by far.

    man, it looks great. i do wish it didn't have all the bond stuff but in and of itself it's pure class

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Believe me the bond stuff isn't nearly as overwhelming as the previous limited editions which weren't in the movies. This one is extremely subtle as compared to those (only showing the British naval symbol on the dial) I'd say it's very low key as a bond watch!

      @@watchyoulove Totally agree, for once they´ve done a Bond version right.

    I tried one on and it felt amazing. If you had to choose between this and the no date sub.. which would you choose?

    • @MFloresReviews
      @MFloresReviews 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I chose this.

    • @vijaymehra1101
      @vijaymehra1101 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I did choose this

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I love my no date sub and am very blessed to have it but I will say this watch has more of the unique cool factor to it that the sub just can't match up to. The sub is very standard, generic you made it type of watch. It is very classic and original and I love that about it but this watch just has all of that and then some. It's based on my favorite seamaster model but evolved with some vintage charms of the very first one!

      I prefer this Omega so I bought this Omega. I also tried the Submariner at two AD too but it felt a bit bulkier, heavier and flashier whilst I prefer discretion so the Sub was a definite pass for me.

    What would you choose between this and the 60th anniversary piece?

  • @thecomedian6920
    @thecomedian6920 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Just bought one. The AD even took off 1k since I paid cash. Rolex always treated me like crap whenever I went into their store. F them.

      Omega is honestly one of the best in the business and because of the market tensions around other brands, it's truly starting to show and people are realizing!

    • @imranbecks
      @imranbecks 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rolex? They don't even have any watches available in their boutiques. What a joke of an overrated brand. Enjoy your Omega. Much more subtle than that other brand 👍🏻

    Great review! I love the watch, could you please specify the sapphire glass dimensions? How many mm is the glass itself? Thank you and good luck with the great job!

    I have this watch since April 2020 and the bracelet doesn't soften overtime. Bracelet was and still is very uncomfortable.

    • @malcman
      @malcman ปีที่แล้ว

      Good to know! I just purchased the NATO version of it, just waiting for it to arrive. Was thinking about returning, and getting the Ti bracelet. Because if I just buy it, its $1460, if i return the NATO watch and buy the TI, its only $1100 more, lol. Might just keep it!

    • @rmthull
      @rmthull 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I found the bracelet very comfortable. More so than my speedy bracelet. I just bought a nato for it for summer and that’s very comfortable too.

    What size is this watch? I have got 42mm, it feels small.

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      42mm, you must have pretty big wrists!

  • @mariedoyle8834
    @mariedoyle8834 ปีที่แล้ว

    The strap won’t loosen over time.

    Lol ...that bracelet clasp is a fail. The watch head is amazing.

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      They wanted to make it more like a strap and less like a bracelet but luckily for people who aren't a fan of it can always opt for the nato option!

    • @u.u.u9969
      @u.u.u9969 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that bracelet and clasp combo thing it does is an epic fail. No bracelet version for me.

    • @martindy3
      @martindy3 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I tried this on at the AD yesterday and the bracelet was sticking out at the sides and so stiff. It was an epic fail and completely turned me off the watch.

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It does! but I will say it definitely feels worth it. quality and features make it feel more substantial than the original SMP300.

      Sie ist jeden Cent wert! Ich trage sie seit Monaten rund um die Uhr bei allem, was ich tue, und sie geht in dieser gesamten (!) Zeit zwei Sekunden vor. Eine Uhr, die ich jeden Tag mehr liebe. Tolle Uhr!

    It won’t actually change colour over time.

    • @watchyoulove

      Multiple sources are stating the shade of brown becomes lighter and more visible vs when it's new it looks matte black.

  • @IrishScribbler

    No it’s not the only Seamaster with no date. The ceramic 43.5mm model in black ceramic has no date.🤦🏻

      Right that one came out around the time of this one.

    It’s nothing at all to do with age, it’s a military look they were going for.

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  ปีที่แล้ว

      It was meant to look like a vintage watch, thus the tropic brown dial and the faux aged lume. Even the strap choice was supposed to look vintage.

  • @mariedoyle8834
    @mariedoyle8834 ปีที่แล้ว

    The strap is not titanium.

      On Omega's website, they list the watch as titanium on titanium and the strap being full titanium as well. Even the clasp and keeper on the NATO strap are titanium.

    • @watchyoulove
      @watchyoulove  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for you support! This watch is actually only made in titanium as it is the bond special edition but you can find the standard seamaster in steel.

  • @mariedoyle8834

    These are made in Asia and are not actually titanium.
