Stunning watch. Doesn’t look as saturated blue in the flesh as shown in the video, especially when the light hits it. More silvery, and then light blue in lower light. Crazy dial. I don’t get all the complaints about the bracelet. It’s a very nice bracelet. Not incredible, but totally fine. You get a GS for the dial, case design and finish, not just because of the bracelet.

After 4 years I got mine finally. It was 2 months search of a genuine/Original one with the limited box. And I found it 🎉🎉🎉🎉. I have the Sanji one of the 2022 2nd collaboration these two are the best

One interesting thing I noticed is that the lugs on the SBGM239 are polished while the bracelet is brushed. Not a good look IMO. The Grand Seikos I own that have a brushed bracelet have brushed lugs.

Many polished Grand Seiko watches have the brushed bracelet. SBGR309, SBGA439 and SBGP013 are examples.

Great vid. I'm looking to get myself a retirement "gift" and Im trying to decide which Seamaster to get. The 2531 and 2220 were my top choices, along with the 2254.50. Tough choice, but your vid was informative, especially regarding the thin case of the 2531, which is appealing to me.

I found this watch in my dads climate cabinet. He told me this is the only watch he's ever worn where he's constantly only ever gotten compliments for it. He doesn't wear it anymore in favor of the apple watch... How do i convince him to start donning it again.

I got the 2541.80 (quartz) for $2050 not too long ago, from a local first owner who bought it back in 2004. Still looks as new, even fading on dial and bezel with the case and bracelet looking mint.

I owned both the SLA017 and SBDX041 for a while, 017 is still with me, released the 041. It just didn't live up to the expectations for me for the artificially bumped up price. The "wrong" dial finish, the inverted date wheel print. Sorry guys :(

Baume and Mercier riviera. it’s the same watch with some upgrades which might justify the price increasing by $1500.

In my opinion none of the videos or photos I have seen really show how gorgeous this watch is in real life. I saw this watch at my Grand Seiko dealer and before I left the store I put a deposit on it and said I would be back in a couple of days to pick it up. The titanium with the soft shimmer of pink and silver of the dial is a match made in heaven, very beautiful yet subtle at the same time. This watch will stay with me until the end of my time on this planet and may very well be on my wrist the day I die. P.S. I will note however this video does portray this watch better than any other video on TH-cam that I have seen, truly outstanding videography.

I think the price is well justified if you see how much is people paying for a Rolex OP41 or any Rolex sport model

Maybe preserve the original strap and get an identical looking replacement strap from artems for daily use.

Not huge on the 65, but this one is different. I would consider buying one, but as I’ve been collecting watches at 40mm and under the last couple of years, I’m back to buying/wearing 40-42 mm watches again. Definitely going to keep this one in the back of my mind though. Which by the way, these are still available for $2,200 on Hodinkees website.

The extra strap that tucks under the clasp, does that dig into your wrist at all and cause any hot spots/pain?

Congratulations! It's a beautiful watch. Just as an FYI, the watch came out in 1965. The "62" in 62 MAS is the first 2 numbers in the original reference number, which was 6217-8000/1

The green dial is very stunning but not flashy. Omega’s quality & pricing is reasonable position. Great customer service as well. The sea master range is quite iconic as well. 🎉

The only watch I paid top whack for. Got it from a boutique and wanted the special treatment etc. wanted a special watch and got it. I bought a speedy 3861 earlier in the year but this is my favorite by far.

I have owned a 3861 for 1 year. Great watch! Anyway, the 321 calibre looks more beautiful and the Ed White is truly the one to have.
