It will NEVER get discounted in fact it will only increase in price. The Quantum of Solace Watch was on sale at the Omega store in my city for 3K. It's now listed as over 9K because it's no longer made. The Bond watches are not permanently made by Omega they are limited releases. So don't be surprised if the NTTD watch ends up being 16 or 17K in 4 years.
Gorgeous watch. Love the little details (even the broad arrow) and the military look and feel. Very unique & different to all other Omega watches. It is very pricey but given the high quality materials, innovative strap and specification I will hopefully be picking one up sometime this year. At this price point I still prefer it to every other Omega watch or models from all other Swiss brands
Although no one is obliged to buy, despite its price point, it seems that it is extremely popular and sells like hot cakes. I collected mine about two weeks ago and I find it sumptuous. I also love my Jaeger-Le-Coultre Memovox Tribute to Polaris 1968.
If we're talking about Fleming's Bond, he wouldn't wear an Omega at all. Fleming explicitly stated in one of the books that Bond wouldn't wear anything but a *cough* Rolex. ;)
At least there's no 007-logos on the dial or hands. Always thought those looked like they came from a "my first spy-kit" for kids. Still: I had the retro Seamaster 300 in hand a couple of weeks ago (along with some non-007, regular Seamasters and a bunch of Aqua Terras) and I'd take an AQ and/or the vintage 300 over this one any day of the week. Looking at the price-tags, you could probably *almost* get both of these for the price of the 007-edition.
Managed to get my hands on one today in Tianjin China, I believe the last one available for now and i am very thankfull to the staff at the Tianjin Boutique for holding it for me, even though i have bought Moonwatch Sapphire Sand-which, Speedy racing, Apollo 8 Speedy, Speedmaster Moon phase ( Blue), the Bond watch stands out, If you get the chance to see it in person you will see what i mean.
Thanks a lot for reviewing Legend 007. Could you please indicate the weight of the watch with the bracelet. I claim that they are lightweight, as if made of plastic. Yours faithfully.
I think it’s a great design. Very much gives the look and feel of a genuinely Ministry of Defence issued piece of kit. I’ve heard many bemoaning the so called “Faux patina.” I prefer to view the subdued even brown markings as military specified rather than false ageing. This is a great look if viewed in that context. I also much prefer the broad arrow marking on the face to having a rather tacky 007 on the tail of the second hand as on previous Omega Bond special edition watches. All in all I think Omega have absolutely hit the mark in creating a very tastefully executed, Bond themed collectors item and an impeccably engineered time piece. Then again, I also like Marmite...🙂
This watch would be perfect it lost the helium valve, had an open case back and a ceramic bezel. Oh and lose the military arrow. The bracelet is my favourite though, I hope to see this on more watches
Check the Tissot Seastar 1000 powermatic 80. Has everything you mentioned should have been on the Omega. Has the same mesh band, ceramic bezel, has a nice sapphire casing & a brilliant dial colour options, shines better than the Omega and costs only £670, that's 12 times cheaper than the Omega.
Thank you friend. Very good video. We know that the watch case and bracelet are made of titanium. Can you tell me how much they weigh? What is the weight of this kit? Thank you.
Why would i want to buy a much more expensive 300m with inferior materials that would tarnish over time over the more superior (materials used) , cheaper regular 300m ? Such a shame though , i love the aesthetics of this watch especially with the TI bracelet very much . They still could have used ceramic on the dial and bezel
Because some of us hate ceramic. I prefer pre ceramic. Daniel craig is a vintage watch guy, so the touches on the watch make sense... ceramic never ages. I like the characteristics of a watch that ages and fades.
I understand the relation with the Bond world and character but the only thing I don't fancy at all are the numbers on the back... 007, '62, etc... Other than that this piece is a Masterpiece.
Too expensive of a watch for me. I’d rather get a PO and an SMP 300M for the same price as this watch. Also, I’d be more tempted toward this watch if it had an exhibition case back. What were they thinking?
Like a lot about this watch one being they dumped the waves I bought the last non wave 300m a year and a half ago. But there is just as many things I don't like on this one as the ones I do. So I'll keep my 300m.
I have the 300m professional and I love it. It's my daily wearer. I like the look of this watch but the price and the aluminum bezel are 2 big issues. I dont like the idea of it being designed to discolour and fade. Shouldn't have used titanium and made it more affordable.
Definitely a cool version of the type of broad hand Seamaster. That said, it’s an expensive piece of cosplay; a watch pretending to be an official dive watch for a fictional character in a fictional film.
IT is not a limited edition, so Omega has a super cash product. I am afraid you spend your money for this new style. In a couple of years the market is overwhelmed with this model and you probably pay 60% of the genuine price. You think iT is the watch of your dreams for life? You better waiting for 1.5 year. In the end iT is not a submariner.
Seriously, they are really cheaping out here. There’s a ton of micro brands that use domed sapphires, and an aluminum bezel insert instead of a steel or titanium one shows corner cutting that doesn’t justify the price at all. You can buy a full titanium diver from Citizen - the NY0054 - with a titanium bezel, case, crown, and caseback for less than $300 when they pop up on the forums or auction sites. When those were new to the market they were less than $200. Titanium isn’t as expensive to produce as people think.
Justin My experience is Tudors run more accurate than Omega coaxial. My GMT loses 1s a day, my Rolex Explorer 0.5. My 2018 Seamaster METAS gained 4s, Omega movements are good enough, on a par with a well calibrated ETA, but not better.
It’s such a chunky watch with fake military vintage look and an ugly big cyst at 10’O clock. Can’t see how it can be dressed up. Bond will be dead within minutes with that big arrow, he’s literally telling everyone that he’s a spy, would prolly having hard time hiding it under the sleeve with that 42mm size. Distastefully done Omega 🤵🏻🙅🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
OMG!!! What have they done to this iconic piece!!!! When the world say omega, it’s this Seamaster 300 and nothing else not even the Speedmaster!!!!! You ruined this iconic piece Omega!!! A childish design, please bring back the design that Omega was famous for, not this Daniel Wellington rip off!!!
It’s one of the ugliest and most overpriced watches ever made by Omega. Unpractical and not that comfortable to wear, not to adjust when it comes to that lousy and ridiculous “Milanese” bracelet. To make things worse, it’s almost impossible to read but in full sunlight. The “patina” effect sucks and it doesn’t positively add to the overall cheap and poor look of the watch. On the other hand, it’s a “collector’s” item, therefore if you’re into 007 stuff and memorabilia, it’s definitely a must-have.. and a “must-keep” in your watchbox, rather than actually using it! Too bad.
Probably the most beautiful watch on the market at the moment. Such a classic, clean and elegant design.
Agreed, shame it's sold out for the most part!
I fully agree. I collected mine about two weeks ago. It is sumptuous, discreet, the camouflage colour scheme is awesome, unique and it is light.
I am wearing it everyday and its a constant source of joy. People from all walks of life react to it, many who have usually no interest in watches.
I’d pay $1,000 premium over the regular one, maybe. I really love the aesthetic, but the price is hard to justify.
You can get one for $700, a copy that a jewelr couldn't tell the difference
@@AmericanBusinessman422 no, thanks. That’s not my style.
It's made of titanium, try it on. You will see why people pay for it
It is rugged. Pretty cool. But I wouldn’t buy it unless it was discounted significantly
Ha ha
Just get 1 from Dh gate £70 and 99.9% the same watch
You can get an exact copy for $700...
@@geofflouis4717 dh gate doesn't have it. And for only $70 I doubt it'll be a good copy

If I like the film I might buy this. If I don’t like it I won’t want the reminder on the wrist. We will find out in November (or whenever).
Wow how well said.
at least you have the standard to make decisions on such a basis :)
My favorite watch until now~
Gorgeous watch. Love the little details (even the broad arrow) and the military look and feel. Very unique & different to all other Omega watches. At this price point I still prefer it to every other Omega watch or models from all other Swiss brands
Totally agree with this! It's one of the most unique divers I've seen for a while and love the military slant on the formula.
dracodin there are no high quality materials. Nice watch but it’s a cash grab by omega
Although no one is obliged to buy, despite its price point, it seems that it is extremely popular and sells like hot cakes. I collected mine about two weeks ago and I find it sumptuous.
I also love my Jaeger-Le-Coultre Memovox Tribute to Polaris 1968.
I think this will become very collectable in the future.
Surely James Bond wouldn’t want to wear a watch with the broad arrow on the dial, given he is a spy
Good Point, that's why we mention it being able to fit under the cuff in the video!
He also wouldn't go by James Bond but there you go...
If we're talking about Fleming's Bond, he wouldn't wear an Omega at all. Fleming explicitly stated in one of the books that Bond wouldn't wear anything but a *cough* Rolex. ;)
ALEC C or a lumed bezel - not exactly discrete although cool !
Or drive an Aston Martin for that matter… but good point :)
At least there's no 007-logos on the dial or hands. Always thought those looked like they came from a "my first spy-kit" for kids. It's ok but not as crazy as people think
How's the rotating bezel is it really hard to use underwater or does it get wiggled after a while
Thanks a lot for reviewing Legend 007.
Could you please indicate the weight of the watch with the bracelet.
I claim that they are lightweight, as if made of plastic.
Yours faithfully.
It's been a while since it was on my wrist, but it is certainly a lightweight piece being made from titanium and all!
96 grams
Really Spectacular piece one man....!!! Exceptional...!!👍😎🇲🇽
I think it’s a great design. Very much gives the look and feel of a genuinely Ministry of Defence issued piece of kit. So you're paying extra for a cheaper bezel and no display case back for tan indices
And no date. So one complication less... 🤯🤯🤯🤯
Great video guys! Keep them coming!
Thanks Mike!
Beautiful watch wish i could afford it
I personally prefer Bond with a rolex. But damn this is a beautiful watch. Honestly the only Omega I've ever truly liked
I Love the Brushed Matte surfaces. I am not a big fan of polished watches. Even the hands are brushed
"Let's just hope the film lives up to the watch" Vosson !!!! :D :D :D
This watch would be perfect it lost the helium valve, had an open case back and a ceramic bezel. Oh and lose the military arrow. The bracelet is my favourite though, I hope to see this on more watches

Another contender would be Rado Captain Cook 42mm comes with 3 strap options and you can add a mesh band as well.
Thank you friend.
Very good video.
We know that the watch case and bracelet are made of titanium.

So very happy the regular 300M Professional doesn't have the lumed bezel. Because then I would have to buy one...
more perfect if reduced to 40mm D and 12mm H.. 🕺🎉👍
You might be on to to something.
Was hoping you were gonna remove the caseback to show the movement...
Unfortunately it's a sample from Omega so we weren't able to do so! When we get our own it will be a different story!
Given the construction and materials, it would have been useful to know the watch's weight too.
I understand the relation with the Bond world and character but the only thing I don't fancy at all are the numbers on the back... 007, '62, etc...
Other than that this piece is a Masterpiece.
3 year hiatus? Daniel Craig as Bond hasn't worn a seamaster professional since Casino Royale; that was a whole 14 years ago!😄
3 Years since the last film - not the last wearing of the professional. Honest!
The watch clasp looks difficult to put the watch on your wrist.
I’ve all the Daniel Craig watches. Even the 2 Spectres. Not sure I’ll get this one. I’m still trying to get used to the style.
Came so close to purchasing this in Oahu on Saturday.
Too expensive of a watch for me. I’d rather get a PO and an SMP 300M for the same price as this watch. Also, I’d be more tempted toward this watch if it had an exhibition case back. What were they thinking?
Love the watch but the bracelet though.....
A The bracelet makes it. It’s titanium.
Al-um-min-ium! LOL🤭
i really like the style, but simply can't afford it

I think the aesthetics of this watch mean it is aimed at a slightly different audience from the 300m professional.
Who have come here from Peter McKinnon?
Not a limited run just a numbered run so I won't be bothering with this one.
Great watch, just too expensive.
Omega is cool but this watch just doesn't cut it. go with the normal version unless you are rich...
Definitely a cool version of the type of broad hand Seamaster. That said, it’s an expensive piece of cosplay; a watch pretending to be an official dive watch for a fictional character in a fictional film.
It's titanium Seamaster rated to 1000 feet, with the most accurate caliber and rated to 15,000 gaus
It is not. This watch has transcended the Bond brand.
I think the Fan Base would jump up and Down with joy if they were to Hack Off The VALVE!!!
Jeez...is it Omega or Seiko? 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
im not thrilled about aluminum. rather just get the ceramic
bracelet is slick, but the watch itself is an overdesign imo
You can purchase the bracelet separately. I did an out it on the new blue SMP. Saved about $4k this way.
Yeah the bracelet is epic, why the hell would you do away with the open case back and ceramic bezel though.
The broad arrow sucks as well
to my mind too expensive
Aluminium !?
Love it so much and can afford it but it’s overpriced and that’s all.
Love the bracelet, the watch on the other hand...no thanks.
Without a coin edge bezel, it’s hard to turn when fingers are wet or sweaty. No a good thing. Also the gas release is anoying looking.
Why do you write "iT" ?
You're right. It's better.
P K my language is not programmed in english, so it is iT on my iPhone
Its a beauty.
Washed out look, Uh............No!
i'd rather get a rolex for the same price. 300m wave dial is half the price. thanks.
It’s coming across as a little overhyped and very overpriced
Time will tell off course
So, you DO know the watch on this video is a rep, right?
So basically it’s a black bay (heritage domed crystal, aluminum bezel) but almost three times the price. Meh.
Seriously, they are really cheaping out here. There’s a ton of micro brands that use domed sapphires, and an aluminum bezel insert instead of a steel or titanium one shows corner cutting that doesn’t justify the price at all. No it's a classic Seamaster not a Rolex wanna be Tudor BB.
Robert Sullivan a cheesy seamaster - these latest ones look like something you’d find in a kinder egg
Justin My experience is Tudors run more accurate than Omega coaxial. My GMT loses 1s a day, my Rolex Explorer 0.5. My 2018 Seamaster METAS gained 4s, Omega movements are good enough, on a par with a well calibrated ETA, but not better.
Justin they are all in house movements now so not relevant
Nice copy of the Tudor black bay 58...

$9000 joke, too many issues with the design, its ugly lookin. sorry.
Craig is no Bond so no thanks
Best Bond there’s been. You so dumb !
To many fake elements starting from the patina lume and the military crow foot..... Its just too gimmicky for what should be a class brand. Sorry 😏
sadly its a failure by omega
Why the 'orrible escape valve BS , desk diver's don't need it, make's it look shit
Don't breed, please.
You clearly have never been in the same room as this watch.
It’s one of the ugliest and most overpriced watches ever made by Omega. Unpractical and not that comfortable to wear, not to adjust when it comes to that lousy and ridiculous “Milanese” bracelet.
