I’ve been dreaming of this watch ever since I first saw it. I don’t know what it is about it, I love divers and own a fair few but this really just stands out for me, and the Lume is really something
It is a beautiful watch. Any TH-camr out there that gives this watch a negative review, clearly has an axe to grind with Omega. It is way, way too expensive though.
It is my first Omega and first titanium watch ! It's paid for and just waiting for me at my friend who is a Jeweller in Paris and my watches supplier. Meantime I tried it in Dubai where I am; it's awesome and very light too. I found that its unique design works pretty well. Now, I would have gone without the deploying clasp such as to remove one of the three layers on the bracelet and I would have tried to taper its thickness too. I think that i would have preferred a sandblasted finish rather than brushed however the brushed finish may be more tolerant with scratches... hence it may be the reason why Omega selected the brushed finish...
Amazing timepiece. I have in fact just taken delivery of my very piece. Been a big fan of this watch ever since I first laid eyes on it, now I can’t stop checking it out on my wrist.

Such a beautiful watch. Made out of Titanium with a striking patina appearing dial and bezel. Aluminium was used for the bezel as opposed to ceramic to ensure it didn’t look too shiny and reflective and it absolutely works. I couldn’t stand the cheesy Seamasters with polished steel this masterpiece is brushed titanium and it just looks like a watch that can hold its own against a Rolex Submariner now. Worth every penny and one of my favourites in my collection.

I like the tan lume and awesome bracelet. But I really love the standard version SMP in blue with the gray wave-textured dial. I'm also not a fan of titanium. I have a couple. It scuffs just as easy as stainless, plus titanium tends to look dull and faded.
Hey Kewrock! Yeah you can’t go wrong with the classic SM300 in the blue and gray configuration! Classic! I’ve heard the titanium can develop an oxidation that fills the appearance. I think it’s one of those materials that’s a great alternative especially if someone wants the light weight feature of it. It's my favorite watch, wear it every day!
Not used to seeing thicker sporty watches with straight end links (rather than ones that conform to the case), but it fits the vintage look well.
My favorite thing about this watch is the dial with fauxtina (even though fauxtina gets a lot of hate).

Just picked one up last month. Love it. Just wondering though, as I’ve never had a diver before, is it normal to have a slight amount of play with the bezel? It seems slightly wiggly. Just wondering if that’s normal?

Beautiful piece. Congrats on the collab. The scalloped bezel is not very practical because it lacks grip. I have another watch with a scalloped bezel and it’s horrible. If you owned one for awhile or used for diving, you would definitely prefer a coined edge. 9k is a hell of a premium over the standard Seamaster that offers many of the same features. I’m guessing the titanium and the 007 fetches a premium but double the price of a standard one? Great job on the review brother. Great b-roll.
Thanks brother!! Yeah I think the bond edition, titanium, and the metas certification are part of that premium for sure! It’s funny how with the yoga hands it was pretty tough to turn the bezel but with bare hands it wasn’t hard at all, I am guessing under water it would be easy to grip with or without gloves. That said, I prefer coin edging as well, 100%! 🤵♂️🍸🙌

Is the Nato strap included when you purchase the watch with the mesh bracelet. You seemed to have pulled the Nato strap during the unboxing. Can you please confirm??
Hi, sorry for the delayed response, Andy! So this was from my watch dealer friend and he had both the strap and bracelet included in the set. I am under the impression that when they were initially ordered the buyer could have selected either the bracelet or the strap, but if buying the bracelet, could opt to add the strap. I couldn't find that option on the omega site directly so it may be best to call up an AD and see what they can confirm. If you find them on the grey market, you should be able to locate one that has both bracelet and strap.

Naiad lock does not apply to the crown, the fact that it's the right way up on this watch is a happy coincidence. I have the same watch, and the logo on the crown is upside-down.

Thanks, Adam! So the titanium mesh is a matte finish, but it does reflect some light. Not done in any high polish though. Hope that helps clarify 😎🍻👍

This one I got from Top Notch Timepieces for review, so I'm not sure if the NATO strap was included when initially purchased or if it was bought aftermarket. I am thinking they bought it separately.
Yup, you don't get an extra strap, it's either on bracelet or nato strap. Also you don't get a separate pouch for your warranty cards, the back of the watch pouch already have the slots for them.
Best Bond, for me is Connery. This seamaster is great. I bought mine last summer. The colouring and the mesh bracelet are fantastic. It's not my favourite seamaster but it's a phenomenal piece all the same.

5:38 That's simply pure luck and chance. The Omega crown logo varies for this model as well just like all the other models are from Omega. Not all will have the logo on the crown upright like the one here you are reviewing. Just look at photos of the watch online or other videos here and you'll see that the crown won't have the logo upright on many of the pictures/videos.

Wish it had a ceramic bezel and sapphire case back. Seems like a downgrade at double the price
AND, just to get even with Omega for radically overpricing this piece (ala Rolex) I chose to own my titanium 300m Swiss diver to be made by Certina instead. It was an easy decision since I already own three Omegas, including one METAS certified master Chronometer Co-Axial model.
I'm obsessed with this watch but could never enjoy it.
It really is a stunner. There's some great homage options out there if you're okay with something that looks the part but could also take a beating without hitting the pocketbook much. Thanks for checking out my review on it! 😎🍻👍

That bracelet scream : LADY! In my country that type of bracelet is made for womens, not for men. That is the only thing i dont like about this watch, if possible i would buy the watch itself with no bracelet, leather one would look much better.
I suppsoe there are some Bond fans that would be okay with the subtle mention of 007 on the case back. Beter than what they did wit the othe Bond 300m Pro which made the watch more like a kids watch...but IMHO any mention on the watch or the box cheapens the watch immefiately. the right way to do it would have ben to include a booklet that mentions which Bond films the watched appeared in and the names of teh Bond ators in those films who wore the watch. For thoe who don't already know this was THE WATCH in the Brosnan and Craig Bond films already.
Rolex, Breitling, hamilton didn't put any Bond references on their watches/box....didn't have to. :) That's what Omega should have done...as well as bet Rolex to the punch...being THE WATCH for Connery and Moore....most guys are fans of Connery and Moore....the 300M Pro ony appeals to the "Bond fan" that will buy ANYTHING "bond themed" o matter how ccheesy in the implementation...no one admits to being a Brosnan or Craig Bond fan :))

Have you realized even tough this watch will be worn by James bond In the movie, James bond won t be 007 in the movie. A girl is gonna be 007 in the movie so....
Apart from that grade 2 titanium aluminium and a very bad working bezel for 9000 euros with no discount ... a blancpain fifthy fathoms bathyscaphe that has high horology Inside can be bought for 7500 thousands so I'm not only gonna pass but I'm gonna blame omega for their poor choices.

Yeah, I have to agree with you. I haven’t seen the movie either but if you’re correct I could see that being an issue for this watch. A 007 movie where James Bond isn’t 007?! That is weird. And as a fan of Blancpain, I wholeheartedly agree, this watch has a lot of cool factor you’re paying for, but I would go for the 5015 or Bathyscaphe before this one every time. 😎🍻👍

NATO strap for me
Very disappointed with this. I heard all the rave reviews, then secured a 30% discount on mine (which should’ve been a red flag) very badly made, cheap materials, uncomfortable strap. No better quality than a cheap swatch watch - and with identical movement. I’m currently reselling for half the price I paid for it

I've had it for one year. It's one of the ugliest, uncomfortable and most difficult to read watches ever made by Omega.
Did you not know that before you bought it? Did you try it on before buying or did not get from some place with a return policy?
Way overpriced and has less features than regular Omega Seamaster. The brand itself is overpriced.
Anything is worth what someone is willing to pay. A 5 million dollar Patek Philipe has less features than a Seamaster, but some crazy dudes buy them.
@@bkawikeThe general rule is the more complicated piece the more expensive it is- this applies to the brand such Omega, Tudor, Breitling etc. when in most cases a modified ETA movement is used. A one off hand made piece with in house movement is a different story and can cost as much as someone wants to pay but still there is also a limit.
