I met a guy last week who has this piece. It didn't catch my attention until I saw it in person. I couldn't stop looking at it. And couldn't get it out of my head after. The bracelet just works. I had other pieces in mind but now this one is at the top. Thanks for the review.
I was worried about the bracelet as many comments in the reviews - tried one on before buying - I have an 8" wrist and the bracelet is very comfortable - I am on the sixth hole of the bracelet so little excess bracelet (there are 7 holes ). This makes a big difference and the lugs also sit very well with no gap unlike the picture at 14.22. I bought the watch though tried on the steel Seamaster as well - the major difference is the weight - the steel Seamaster is very heavy whereas this is beautifully light. Also the connection to Bond is very muted with only the MOD broad arrow visible and the numbers on the case which makes it far more acceptable than earlier Bond Omegas. I wanted an Omega with the Daniels escapement and this one is just about perfect. I would have made the hands slightly more contrasting to the dial - the strips of lume on the hour hand are very thin but that is nit picking. Very pleased with it - I normally buy JLC watches but this one is going to compete with them for wrist time !
Totally disagree on the bracelet It looks amazing in the flesh and is, I’m my opinion, very comfortable. This watch is already a real favourite in my collection.
I prefer the stainless steel version with date window and wave dial. You also get the see through case back and wooden presentation box. It is also a good bit cheaper than the bond version.
I recently tried it on at my local Omega AD and feel it's too little for the asking price. It is a beautiful watch, feels great on the wrist. but for half the price I can buy the same watch in stainless steel, with a date complication included... I let it pass and will pull the trigger with the speedy 321 instead
Great review, in real look better, i think is a solid purchase. The score is very correct, the steel SMP300 is more versatile, anyway im not a fan of titanium watches.

Was lucky enough to see one in person in September of last year. It looks and wears great but it simply is not justifiable to spend around 4000 more compared to the standard version if you are on a budget
Not worth the price tag, although it is a nice looking piece. Aluminum bezel, grade 2 titanium, no date, & no open caseback are some of the cons for me. Also, you said this is the best looking dial from the Seamaster lineup?! No way! The SMP300m has the beautiful laser cut waves on the ceramic dial! Everything is subjective and there’s no “perfect” watch in this hobby anyway lol nicely executed video mate.
Beautiful watch, I’ve heard a few people who sold theirs because of the strap sides digging in their wrists (worn for long periods as a daily wearer , not just a few hours). Do you have the same issue
I got one recently and don’t have any issues with the strap I find it really comfortable. I wouldn’t wear everyday just because that anodised bezel will fade and scratch much easier than all my other watches. TDE nailed it on the head and is a great weekend piece! It’s so different and so many people ask about it. Better conversation starter then wearing a Rolex and having someone come up and say “where did you get it” and “how long did you wait for that”
@@TheDubaiExpat I think it is very dependant on wrist size - Larger wrists have no problem so it is definitely try before you buy. I would imagine a wrist of 7.5 inches or more would be fine - below this the NATO strap might be a better if less durable choice.
All the reviewers have said that same thing about the milanese. The hole design looks cool, but apparently does not make for a good fit. Also the clasp looks uncomfortable. Gorgeous piece, thanks for the great review. Enjoy this watch Niko!
I picked up mine yesterday. Awesome piece. Compared to the presentation box of my previous gen Speedmaster the packaging is somewhat average. What surprised me is that they made a slot in the watch pouch but didn’t include a springbar tool to remove the bracelet. When I came home and unboxed the watch I thought it was missing and the AD for some reason forgot to put it in the pouch but after a call they confirmed me that the watch comes without any tools. Absolutely love the watch though. Enjoy yours 👍
I love it, I am in Dubai but I shall buy it in France where I can have a better deal than the Dubai list price. I thought I could get it here in Dubai but there are zero discounts… or I did not find…
I own the same watch. My only problem with it is the bracelet and the buckle which doesn’t sit right on the undersurface of the wrist. I had to switch to a rubber strap to make it more wearable.
great content and vid quality, just subbed! btw, your wrist seems to look a tad bigger than the mentioned 6.5-inch wrist. mine measures at 6.5 while outdoors and shrinks to about 6.3-ish while inside the ofc. Sorry but I don't like the skeletonized sword hands. I find them tough to read. My other major issue is the amount of material that is above and below the clasp. Either you like titanium or not. Some people like the weight of steel. Titanium is stronger, lighter, and more corrosion resistant than steel.
May just be me but a watch of that price range or a diver in general needs to have weight to it . To me it feels more substantial if I wanted a light watch I would get a field watch style watch .
I think somebody dropped the ball with the model number... ending on 001.... WTF why the hell not end the model on 007.... Also I love the way you take care to hide the watch serial number on the cards, but flaunt it on the back of the watch. lol
It is a stunning watch. Omega finally got the Seamaster right. The earlier steel models looks juvenile with the 007 insignia spoiling the dial and cheesy polished case and bracket. This titanium model absolutely nails the essence of a functional watch a serviceman would wear and has a much more subtle nod to 007 without being overbearing. A future classic for sure and finally a rival to a Submariner.
You blocked the serial number on the card. But when you showed the caseback, the serial number can be seen clearly on the lug 🤭 Anyway, good video and I really like the look of this watch. I tried it on at the boutique, very lightweight. Years of wearing stainless steel, this one around my wrist felt like it wasn't there. Would love to add it with my other Bond Omega watches. If only it wasn't so expensive though.
It is commonly referenced that the watch that is of the model of Seamaster that was worn in Goldeneye was a quartz watch, and wasn’t an automatically winding watch. How can you say that?
I don't understand why people complain about price when Titanium is a harder metal to process and the movement is superior to Rolex due to the METAS certification. But people would pay 2-3x RRP for a Rolex and think its a bargain
Probably due to the resell value and demand. Can’t argue that many Rolex models are more in demand; hence, the resale value. In cases like this, logic does not make sense.
