"You've got a friend in me is the song of the _Toy Story_ franchise, and Pixar as a whole. It's reassuring message is inforced by the events of the films, and it's the song on this list I've caught myself singing most often. Plus, Randy Newman is amazing. It absolutely deserves the #1 spot.
Exactly, all the scenes from the first movie make the song more comforting, and it gives me great emotion to remember themand the same time, remember our childhood, it make the message

The song is one of the best songs of the movie remake(in my opinion). In fact, I think the original would make good alarm to wake up too
My ultimate Disney comfort song is Love from Robin Hood because that scene is just so cute and soft. It calms me down and is really peaceful. Plus the vibe of that scene is so calming. The dark blue colors, the soft music, the overall peaceful feeling of that scene…I love it so much.

Love the Circle Of Life from Lion King
Bella Notte from Lady & the Tramp is a favorite of mine. The vocals at the start of the movie really take me back in time when the movie first released on VHS. I enjoy that feeling of nostalgia.
Under the sea is a nice comfort song from The Little Mermaid. Also Hakuna matata from The Lion King.
Kiss the Girl is also a banger
Under the Sea does have a great rhythm, and Hakuna Matata of course, it's great to lift your spirits and cheer you up

For me, Seize the Day from Newsies is one of my favorite Disney comfort songs. The message of joining together to make a bright future for ourselves and to enjoy the time that we have together is so heartwarming.
One of my comfort songs is Go The Distance from Hercules cuz it reminds me of my dad. He’s a HUGE Michael Bolton fan & would listen to this song when he was in law school studying. My dad is still studying for the bar exam but I know he’ll get there. & Michael Bolton went HARD on that song. It’s a banger for sure

You’ll be in my heart will always make me cry! Even now through this video I’m tearing up! I lost my mom over 12 years ago and it always hits me in my feels! I love and miss her so much. She passed away 3 months before I had her first grandchild. I know she is watching over us always!

I can't Name one Disney Comfort Song, but any time I hear a Disney song, it comforts me.
“Go the Distance” from “Hercules”was one song that gave me comfort growing up. It taught me to never give up on myself & to always work toward your goals. It may not be as comforting as some of the other songs on this list, but you can’t deny that the song personified both the movie it was written for and the overall themes of classic Disney stories. Nostalgia and happy memories do give us comfort, but so does aspiring for something great, for they give us hope for a better tomorrow.
I liked that song too.
The most comfort for me are: "You got a friend in me" (it remember our childhood), "Circle of Life" (it's beautiful and touching how is about the purpose in the life), "Remember me" ("until you are in my arms", it means until we meet our loved ones, there is much comfort), "A dream is a wish of your heart" and "See the light".. Also are: "We are one" from TLK2 (It has a most beautiful message that it gives you in the heart: "Even those who are gone are with us as we move on, we are one you and me like the earth and the sky") , "The Next Right Thing" (it's very encouraging to take away to depression), "Show Yourself" (I love the line: I come for a reason and that is why I was born maybe), "Waiting on a miracle" (it's touching to encourage oneself to continue) and "Almost There" (I remember daddy told me that dreams don't come true, but you can make it happen, it's all depends of you)

I probably would also add Someday My Prince Will Come-Snow White!

My favorite Disney songs are Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins, Love Is a Song from Bambi, One Song from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and Your Mother and Mine from Peter Pan. Maybe Baby Mine would grow on me if I listened to it more.
When my cousin was younger id watch the animated Disney movies with him i would recite some lines and sing a long to the classic songs but when he a baby who never saw tarzan id sing you'll be in my heart when he would cry for whatever reason and most of the time stopped his crying.
I'm am so surprised that "someone's waiting to love you" from the Rescuers didn't make this list!

Part of Your World is not only one of my favorite Disney songs but it’s just generally one of my favorite songs. I do love Circle of Life and Beauty and the Beast but I also think We Are One from Lion King 2 would fit perfectly on this list. I See The Light and Once Upon A Dream are awesome songs and I love them both!

These are really good songs, though a personal favorite of mine is Ariel's song from The Little Mermaid Ariel's Beginning. The one Ariel sang about the few memories she had of her mother and how Atlantica used to be when her mother had still been around.
