This interview did not age well…
3 NH teams in the Semis and the only surviving team is Australia? LOL this is hilarious! Hoggy says Australia just know how to win it in order to get through but South Africa and NZ dont get the same assessment🤣🤣
Playing Argentina is a very different prospect to Ireland or France.....but let's see, bring on the games!
@FinalSky88 I agree with that yes but lately Argentina have been getting results againt the Aussies. At World Cup, Los Pumas have been good so I wouldn't write them off that easily either.
Fiji to make the QF for sure
@@FinalSky88Argetina have a far better World Cup record than Ireland. Being ranked number 1 on the basis of recent test match results means very little as WC rugby is different to test mtch rugby. Teams like SA and NZ know to pitch up when the pressure is on to perform on the ultimate stage in world rugby. Ireland don't.
@@tonysa2337 Yes, but does history dictate the future?
These boys got it all wrong. 25/10/23😂😂😂
For a former pro rugby player, Hogg has awful insights. England are not favs to come out of their group at all. Argentina should defo be favoured, and Samoa have a real chance to beat them too. England's team looks awfullll
He also describes the tier two nations as unknowns like there isnt plenty of data - he should check out squidgerugby
I think this just says more about your bias than Hogg's predictions. England have the best track record in the WC of any NH team, they shouldn't be written off.
I'm English, and it gives me no pleasure to admit it, but England do not have the talent in the team to make it far@@joeboonmusic4004
@@joeboonmusic4004 Could not agree more, from an Irish man, England will put on a show, even if it takes ignoring the Borthwick's plan just to save face. Most of those boys have got to a final and know what it takes. I certainly would not write them off.
As a Scot, I think his predictions are very balanced and realistic. He’s taking into account past performance at the RWC as well as player quality. Yes England have demonstrated little form in the warm ups but I think things will change for the main event.
Can’t write off the Boks and ABs!!!! One of them will make it to the final
I was just smiling when I saw this how totally wrong was this prediction. Tonite we got a all southern hemisphere final.
That was very enjoyable
The Brittish and Irish combined couldn’t beat SA, but Hogg is expecting both England and Ireland in the semi’s🤔
A British and Irish Lions team coached by Warren Gatland couldn't beat SA. Ireland coached by Andy Farrell, different story.
Didn't know fans still existed who thought that an invitational team that's put together and has never played together before should automatically win.
@@stiofain88Can this great Ireland team beat the Springboks? Absolutely.
Is an Irish victory the likey outcome, probably not .
Ireland have nothing like te World Cup pedigree of Suth Africa, the most succesful World Cup team (3 wins in 7 attempts). If one diregards the teams reaspective WC cultures and records, you'd still be left with the fact that Rassie Erasmus is one of the best coaches alive and the Springboks are at east as good as Ireland man foe man.
Rubbish. November 2022 ireland 19 SA 16 Please check your facts
mid 1990s results in the WC have no relevance to the 2023 tournament. Ireland are totally capable of beating SA. The SA pack can be moved side to side and opened up, as NZ did in the rugby championship.@@tonysa2337
So what will be new this world cup and what gap is closing between teams???
this didn't age well mate 🤣🤣🇿🇦
This is from a guy who know s these team,s.? Interesting
Dismissing Fiji?
I back them to make the QF
@@1ThomasSkinnerme too, Fiji & Australia to advance. Doesn‘t matter which order..
@@karlosdeevsWales often come good at WC's
Loss of Caleb Muntz important too
Come on Ireland ☘️
i agree the final will likely be ireland vs france but ithink ireland is taking it
Afraid not. The fun of looling back at predictions
@@jon9625 true and I'm south African but I must say I really didnt expect to see South Africa in a final again but it's looking like a real possibility I think against New Zealand
Well no one can’t beat the Springboks but Ireland did beat them this video hasn’t aged well
