no idrive controller , and hate those captivity button on steering wheels , and what is wrong with having normal physical button for climate controls. absolutely loving the customization panoramic vision , next level design.
The iPad is directly in front of you. The CID is left/right of you. And the hand would cover the lower part of the display, so you can bring the CID nearer into the line of sight. I guess there are more reasons .. e.g. looks special/unique

I’m really liking this car. Love the design. I hope BMW cater for us that travel with bikes on our cars. Like Rivian does withe their car guard thingy! So, the car alarm goes off if someone tries to steal a bike. But this is on my list when it’s time to change car, next year!
my thoughts on the interior a) sustainable materials as standard are great b) having the sides of the central screen tilted might look cool, but watching videos or creating apps for it will be painful c) the panoramic vision display could actually show important information, such as pedestrians or animals that the car has detected (especially at night) instead of just the regular stuff you have shown here
I stopped caring for cardesign after the merc w124... it was the pinacle of modernity for me as a kid. Everything after felt like some rounded retro mess....im happy that we get the cleaner modern lines back. Had to wait way too long for it.
Finally a bmw that is beautiful, the last they look great was the E90. If someone thinks this uglier then the current 7 or XM you need to get your eyes checked 😂

INTERIOR PERFECT, REAR VIEW PERFECT, SIDE VIEW PERFECT, FRONT VIEW.....HMMM..... In my opinion, it looks much better if the kidney grille is integrated with the headlight area like the NEUS KLASSE SEDAN CONCEPT. If you want to inherit the 2002, make the headlights circular like 328 HOMMAGE CONCEPT... This really looks like a beaver.
I'd be very much interested in range, charging speed, price and especially will Ionity (or some other charger company) be controlled how diligently they keep chargers in good condition so they are close to 100% reliable and we can drive as low as 5% (or less) like with Tesla's.

The Design is good, but I am not sure about this 3D-Lighteffect in the Kidney especially at the sedan. I think it looks cooler and cleaner with only the two lightstripes acitivated on each site. Hope you will be able to turn the 3D-Effect off. Also I think the sedan looks better than the SUV with the huge but slim kidney which integrats the light. Still it is missing some contours on the front lip, but with that fixed the sedan could be the best looking ev in its class. Also the Interieur concept is great.

Almost all the bmw’s evs today are build on a structure designed for combustion engine cars (the i4 is a 4 series grand coupe with and electric engine adapted). Neue Klasse architecture is designed and built for evs (for example, no tunnel for the transmission).

This is more like it. and looking like software inteface friendliness is improved too, before the menus were just so confusing even in all latest models. That's why i bought tesla instead.
There are so many elements in the new design. Although it looks clear and pleasing, the overall user experience does not convince me. I feel that the panoramic display is excessive, with too much information spread across the front panel. The right information in the right place is important, but I have doubts that having so much information is the best approach. Additionally, I dislike touch buttons because they require more attention to use and can take time to get used to.
That grill is becoming an obsession. It is a relic anaway. Since the cybertruck this implementation of sturdy look by BMW is sturdy nor elegant. That interface will definitely require a lot more work. The main question hasn't been answered: Is this finally a software defined car?
The classic grille looks nice, but the headlights doesn't work well with it. I think this car would have a much better face/personality with round headlights. This concept is better than the previous, but still missing something in the front.
I like it because the elements of being a BMW have been observed in the design according to the bad taste! In fact, you need a clean design in other classes, something that is really BMW! What's wrong with BMW's design room?
I just hope that the panoramic display would be an option and would not come as a standard because it's too distracting in my opinion. I would not be able to determine whether to look at the centre display or on that panoramic one.
The car has a huge glass roof. The heat inside the car would be unbearable unless... there's some technology that will stop the heat from entering the car. Does BMW have a solution to this problem? If YES, what is it?
While everything looks outstanding, I can’t subscribe yet to screen interactions while driving, I need tactility not a flat surface. But overall, exciting change!
Nice design but I prefer to use the Touch Contoller (th-cam.com/video/WKmxrvDupCI/w-d-xo.html), Gesture Recognition (th-cam.com/video/1lxxky_vJH4/w-d-xo.html) & Voice Recognition systems in the car allowing navigation in HMI without having to touch any screen (which prevents fingerprints and also increases safety). I don't want my future BMW to have the same user experience as a Tesla Model 3 which requires most of the time to touch the central display !

I like it because the elements of being a BMW have been observed in the design according to the bad taste! In fact, you need a clean design in other classes, something that is really BMW! What's wrong with BMW's design room?
I just hope that the panoramic display would be an option and would not come as a standard because it's too distracting in my opinion. I would not be able to determine whether to look at the centre display or on that panoramic one.
The car has a huge glass roof. The heat inside the car would be unbearable unless... there's some technology that will stop the heat from entering the car. Does BMW have a solution to this problem? If YES, what is it?
While everything looks outstanding, I can’t subscribe yet to screen interactions while driving, I need tactility not a flat surface. But overall, exciting change!
Nice design but I prefer to use the Touch Contoller (th-cam.com/video/WKmxrvDupCI/w-d-xo.html), Gesture Recognition (th-cam.com/video/1lxxky_vJH4/w-d-xo.html) & Voice Recognition systems in the car allowing navigation in HMI without having to touch any screen (which prevents fingerprints and also increases safety).
I don't want my future BMW to have the same user experience as a Tesla Model 3 which requires most of the time to touch the central display !
Where are those sporty BMW exterior lines that have defined the brand itself for decades?

Sedan front looks much better, they should remove small vertical kidney grill from SAV/SUV. It would be much cleaner

BMW, do you even bother to ask your customers about these designs? They’re horrible! Absolutely hideous. You make such great cars, but they’re so ugly even longtime customers are leaving BMW.
