I've fallen in love with a more glossy look for highlights this year, now I want all the ones you suggested. I've been wanting Double Gleam for so long, I have no idea how it isn't in my collection yet.
You actually introduced me to “ glossy “ highlighters and I’ve never looked back since they are now the only formula in highlighters that I like to wear either sheered out to a natural finish or more visibly intense they still don’t look like I have product on skin i am officially totally hooked on glossy highlighters
I bought the Too Faced highlighter based on your recommendation and so far, the only time I can put it down is when I use my RMS living luminizer. It's SO beautiful and now I understand your obsession with highlighters!
I've never clicked on a video faster! I really thought Bare Minerals would be the satin winner! I love it so so much, the color is perfect, its great for everyday and I can also make it more intense by wetting the brush. My friend actually asked me what I was wearing, I told her it was a powder highlight but she said it looked wet which I was thrilled to hear. I haven't bought a new highlighter in a while because I have so many that I'll never be able to finish, but I might have to pull the plug and purchase the Too Faced which has been on my wishlist ever since you showed it (I also want to try Double Gleam but I think I slightly prefer the tone of the TF, and the packaging is adorable). Thank you for the time and effort you have put into these videos, they are an amazing resource!

I bought the BM & TF highlighters on your recommendations earlier in the year and love them. I have been using MAC's double gleam and lightscapade for years, however, I wear lightscapade as a finishing powder instead of a highlighter. I also love Laura Mercier's face illuminator in devotion.
It's not available to buy anymore as it was 2017 Holiday Ltd Edition. not worth me putting it in if you can't buy it anymore :( but it's probably my favourite metallic formula!
I really like that you’ve been breaking products down into categories. So many lovely highlights. One that I love is CP’s Here Kitty Kitty. Great for fair skin and very wearable. Thanks for the suggestions, m’dear🍃🌸.
im trying to keep myself on a low buy (meaning i will only repurchase stuff as i run out of them like concealer, mascara, moisturizer etc) and this series isnt helping...

I just received Nars Capri yesterday and I love it! The color is perfect for my skin tone, and I love that it's almost undetectable on the skin. Just gives a healthy glow. I'll definitely be referring back to this video the next time I'm in the market for a new highlighter. Oh, and I also just received the BareMinerals bronzer on your recommendation, and that was a hit, too 😁
I think you're the only TH-camr I watch consistently enough that I can guess whichever products you'll include any even most of the winners. It helps that I love all your recommendations 😉
This video and the upcoming one on eyeshadow are the two I've been most excited for! As we've discussed multiple time, I'm very fair as well and I'm always looking for new highlighters that work for my skintone and don't have glitter. Becca's Pearl and Ofra's Pillow Talk have been my go tos but I always come to you for other suggestions. MAC Double Gleam is next on my list!
I need to try the bare minerals one I love simple everyday highlighters! The only one I use all the time as an everyday highlight is actually a blush- wet n wild rose champagne but it would nice to have a real highlight as well- that’s more natural like the blush I use! I also really love glossy highlighters! I need to try Mac double gleam and colourpop flexitarian!
Arna, is that Burberry highlighter the only thing you have on that is making your skin look so dewy and radiant? It is beautiful. I’m curious if maybe you used a liquid highlighter mixed with your foundation or used some kind of radiance primer. Whatever it is, I want to buy it.

I never thought I could wear highlighter until I saw your video a while back and you listed Mac Lightscapade as a good choice to not bring out texture and you were right. I haven’t put a dent in it and I’ve had it probably a year (?). It will last forever. Bobbi Brown has a highlighting powder that’s a few years old I was wondering about. I had my makeup done for a holiday party and she put pink glow on me, which I love but am not sure if it’s too glittery for daytime. If you know about it then let me know. Thanks!!:)

Brunette MakeUp I own the Technic highlighter, and my skin’s undertone is neutral-leaning-warm. It works fantastically on me! I find it to have quite a neutral tone because it doesn’t pull pink on me at all!

Yes and i own one. it's a nice satin highlight, but I prefer these ones I mentioned! Their Metallic Strobe formula though is outstanding, but sadly the palette was Limited Edition :(

The Rodin mermaid highlighter from Mecca Cosmetica is so, so glossy for a powder highlighter. It's a mix of lavendar and champagne - never thought I would love lavendar. My other favourite is Nars fort de France. This video has given me some other ideas.
I was also worried that the highlighters and duochromes would get scrapped in the Makeup Geek rebrand, but they are all in stock at the moment on the Makeup Geek website with no shades discontinued.

I always use a finger with Flexitarian to melt it into the skin. I think it looks glossiest if you use it with only skincare & concealer. If you put it over foundation/powder, I find it looks more bold/metallic, unless you buff & build it up slowly.
*I have to tell you about a few Glossy highlights you may or may not know about..the Morphe single highlighters (shades Spark and Extra, especially) or so gorgeous buffed into the skin. Also, the Givenchy Tient Couture Cushion Glow is the most spectacular highlighter on the planet for someone with your (and my) skin tone. You can see it in Mariah Leonard's glossy wet looking highlighter video. It's just breathtaking! She has great recommendations.*
Hope you reply to this Arna! I got J Cat Bella Rose for Christmas. It looks nothing like when you show it as a swatch or on my face. It's like it's only glitter without any of the gorgeous pink metallic "back pigment" sheen unless I pack it on really heavily, but then it doesn't look blended. I've tried applying it with a fan brush, a cheek highlight brush, a beauty sponge, and my fingers. I even scraped the top layer off part of it to make sure it wasn't due to overspray. No luck but I want so bad to get it to work for me. Did I get a dud/new formula or is there something I'm missing?
Essence snowflake is my fave metallic tho I'll be upset if makeup geek discontinues lit. Lately, I've been going light with a satin like essence highlighter in their ashy radiance contour duo. It's a pale champagne & extremely subtle but I've fallen in love with it.
I am lowkey disappointed that you don't try many liquid highlighters, so I thought to leave my favourite for you to check out. Please try the nars liquid illuminators; I have mine in hot sand, it might be a little deep for you but it's the best glossy highlight I own and never emphasises any pores!

Most people say it doesn't so I thought the formula might be different outside of the US but I've seen microglitter in every country I've looked (eg France, South Africa, UK), Does anyone else see it? Or does it come off after you wear down the top layer? Please help!!! BTW, I love your eyeshadow look, I hope you've done a tutorial on it! :) I'd love to know what eyeshadows you've used!
Do you happen to know if all of those Burberry highlighters in that formula have the same glossy finish? I have been looking for a rose gold highlighter that will work for my fair complexion (about the same as yours), and someone who is also fair suggested the rose gold shade of the Burberry highlighter. I was afraid it wouldn't work, but if it's glossy like the white one maybe it would! Since I can't get into the store to swatch it, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
I’m very very pale with yellow undertones and my favorite highlighter is Ofra glazed donut!! It is so glossy and beautiful! I also really love the Becca poured shimmering skin perfecter in pearl!! Makeup geek glitz highlighter looked really icy pink on me and it was just way too cool toned for me.
Heyyy ,I’m so confused I really want to get double gleam but I’m torn between the abh glow kit and double gleam .is the double gleam as intense as the abh glow .(the shade sunburst)i want like a very strong insta highlight.please help if you can😭
I’m not familiar with the ABH Glow Kits, but Double Gleam’s highlight is extremely similar in texture to the ABHxAmrezy highlighter :) you can build it up to be very blinding without emphasising texture
If you haven't tried it yet, you should look into Colourpop Jelly Much Eyeshadow in We Jammin. It is STUNNING when used as a highlight on very pale skin!
You missed a category of whimsical highlighters I would give that to ABH Moonchild and Dream pallets they are super buttery and shiny the pans are huge and the colours are subtle enough to be wearable not too much back pigment just enough to see the highlighter has a green undertones or blue.
They are discontinuing bare minerals invisible glow. I bought one at TJ maxx along with the bronzer from this line. That's ashame because it's beautiful but I'm not complaining about paying 12.99 I guess a lot of people don't like a subtle glow. I got mine in 03 tan. It reminds me of the hourglass subtle highlighters. Totally a dupe but 13 bucks is way cheaper!

Oh that’s so sad! Mine is quite smooth so either you have a dud or they’ve changed the formula :(

It wasn't, my favourite highlight is CoverFX in moonlight. It is very fair skin friendly.

They do, however, when I was buying no. 1 white, I swatched the others and they did still seem too dark :(
I’m very very pale with yellow undertones and my favorite highlighter is Ofra glazed donut!! It is so glossy and beautiful! I also really love the Becca poured shimmering skin perfecter in pearl!! Makeup geek glitz highlighter looked really icy pink on me and it was just way too cool toned for me.
Heyyy ,I’m so confused I really want to get double gleam but I’m torn between the abh glow kit and double gleam .is the double gleam as intense as the abh glow .(the shade sunburst)i want like a very strong insta highlight.please help if you can😭
I’m not familiar with the ABH Glow Kits, but Double Gleam’s highlight is extremely similar in texture to the ABHxAmrezy highlighter :) you can build it up to be very blinding without emphasising texture

If you haven't tried it yet, you should look into Colourpop Jelly Much Eyeshadow in We Jammin. It is STUNNING when used as a highlight on very pale skin!

You missed a category of whimsical highlighters I would give that to ABH Moonchild and Dream pallets they are super buttery and shiny the pans are huge and the colours are subtle enough to be wearable not too much back pigment just enough to see the highlighter has a green undertones or blue.
I'm just not a fan of those kinds of colours x
They are discontinuing bare minerals invisible glow. I bought one at TJ maxx along with the bronzer from this line. That's ashame because it's beautiful but I'm not complaining about paying 12.99 I guess a lot of people don't like a subtle glow. I got mine in 03 tan. It reminds me of the hourglass subtle highlighters. Totally a dupe but 13 bucks is way cheaper!
I'm just pleased it'll be available at TJMaxx before it's gone so everyone can stock up haha
