Beautifully made but my 1997 TJ bought new has never rusted still looks awesome very rare magenta color has never failed to get me home and has been paid for since 97. I feel like I’m driving a free rig
It’s pretty unfortunate that the average Joe who wants to buy and restore an fj now has to compete with these startups who want to buy up all the remaining fjs and sell them at prices most can never afford
@@donusmc1 I don’t understand why people get so jealous when they can’t afford something. Just because something exists doesn’t mean we are entitled to it at a price that we can afford.
Sure they’re expensive. And no I’m not gonna buy one. But I’m super happy that these craftsman have done this. Just amazing to know they’re even out there. I remember when I was a kid, my dad’s best friend used to take us camping in his FJ 40. Great memories.
The only things I can afford from this, are the Stedi Homage headlights. Got a pair for my Patrol y60. The demand for such vehicles is there. We need more companies to jump in and make them affordable.
I like the original FJ40 diesel engine. It sounds like thunder under the hood, terrifying. My brother had an accident in FJ40. His colleague was driving, he fell asleep on the wheel and the car slipped into a ravine. Luckily car was stopped by a tree. On impact my brother fell forward, hit his forehead on the dash (some sharp edges) splitting his forehead skin left to right.
Hi when are FJ 40 s coming to Australia and what prices are they going to be hear I had the early model short wheel base and right had drive hear thanks Jeff
Drive for fifteen hundred miles and re-torque everything - FJ 's worth the money! Toyota owes y'all a big gesture of appreciation. Great video
I'm blown away with the price but definitely a bucket list 😬
Bought one of these from Nelson in 2016. Great guy, great truck.
Fabulous Legend.

Plus importing them all from countries that are cheaper to buy from like Australia
The meek will inherit the earth. Just give it time.
If you pay attention they are Columbian market fj40s so they are added to the US market not taking away.

Amazing work, at that price, hard to justify tbh
I swear will go to FJ Co. to build my dreams G40 something different design in my mind

I think it’s a shame they don’t have the 2uz v8, which is a much more common engine in the US.

Was this filmed in Norcal? Looks like the Pigeon Point lighthouse and Gazos Creek Beach
74 fj40 owner. 50 k original miles. Do you have a website with authenticate Fj40 parts?
They do not sell "parts". They are a coach-builder.
@thebluep0tat0 Thanks for the quick reply.
Unreal
Qual é a medida dos pneu da Fj40 vermelha?
What's the maximum height limit for being able to drive the FJ40/FJ43 comfortably for someone over 6' tall?
Good question.
How much would an old FJ 40 without reconditioning go for ?

can you visit Philippines to build these kinds of cars
Probably they can go anywhere if the market is high and donor units are abundant.
Like the old-style fj's not the new
Too expensive edit would just buy one from different website since if company cost 200k
Fuji Jeep land cruiser 👍🏿
Rich people toys.
How about spare parts.?...$till available until now? Are new model TLC product same quality with FJ 40...? 👍🏻
I daily drive a 70 series 😂
they are badass but the price is ridiculous at best.
275k😮 i hope 2025 Toyota bring fj40 New model
nvm, ill keep driving my nissan!
I’ll stick with my Series 109.
The ridiculous pricing makes them toys for rich people. And I'll bet your grandaddy didn't fork over 200k+ for his either.
Purchased new in 1977……..$5,500.00.
This video is like scripture.
Profit margin 150%.😆
Only a fool will pay this inflated price.
How is it inflated? They are using brand new parts, brand new engine, drive train, new wiring etc. Pricey yes! Overpriced don't think so.
Sell your house....... buy CAR. Maybe.
Really????
Video is for millionaires and billionaires only..... and Colombian drug lords.
Yes over priced you can just buy a used one and make it do whatever you want
Way too expensive
Ide rather restore my 99 cherokee SPORT Jeep for 30 grand and it would be really nice
Too much double talk and tap dancing ! Just say what the price is and stop stuttering about it!
ridiculously overpriced
👍
LOL!😂🤣🤪😂
This is a body on frame SUV just like pickups are built, so definitely not a car like you keep ignorantly calling this vehicle.
250k way to Spence it 😬
