Life is all about choices and priorities. You only live once, so live it to the fullest. You owe that to yourself. This comes from a guy, that had stroke at age 52, after 35 years of working in my own business, basically 24/7. Btw: thats a VERY classy car - and you deserve it. Congrats from Denmark 😉👍

It’s truly a stunning car Matt. You have worked immensely hard to establish your business, online courses, and TH-cam channel. As a 58 year old who has been on dialysis since 43, I urge you to cast off any feelings of guilt. I had made myself a good job in the civil service, but when illness knocked on my door I had nothing much but my home (and I’m still paying off the mortgage). Life is for living. Enjoy every moment because we don’t know the moment. Plus, that car deserves you; as you said, you’ll love and cherish it, and maintain it properly. Enjoy it Matt. 😉👍🏼

The same thing applies if you are "working-class clever".

In America, people will display their 'belongings' and it isn't so much a bragging session, as it is, "I've worked hard and bought this." It's a display of their hard work. You're correct about the class thing, but I think it extends to Europe a little too. We deride ostentatious things because we assume they were bought by amoral means. Also we need to account for the baseness of mankind and Jealousy.

You’ve said you work almost everyday, grafting hard and you’re reaping the rewards - you deserve it! Don’t feel guilty! Always enjoyed my Range Rovers but despite them still being the best IMO the image has been cheapened ironically as the cost has accelerated. In the end it made me feel like a marketing man’s dream as I bought into the latest models etc - it all feels so artificial. I have never felt better since switching back to much cheaper motoring. No stress and most cheaper cars are more than adequate. Mortgages paid off is a much better feeling than the latest Land Rover offering.

After a lifetime of being a Range Rover and Land Rover owner, 2-years ago when wanting to upgrade from my last Range Rover, I was looking at an L405. Here in Western Australia for not less than $100,000 you were looking at an 8-year old car which would have around 120,000kms minimum. Unfortunately, my head won over my heart and for slightly less money I bought a brand new Y62 Patrol Ti-L. Whilst Range Rover may always hold my heart It just didn’t make financial sense. @David Busch I have to agree.

Interesting video this, and oddly not really to do with the car, though it's lovely. What you're experiencing happens to many person who come from humble, typically working class, backgrounds. For years, the things you have access to now, were the preserve of the "old" rich & the famous. But you've worked hard, generated decent wealth to allow you to afford these things and every right to enjoy them as anyone else, if not more due to the effort it took to get there. Remember this tho' - regardless of all the trinkets & high life, you will always be that lad from Stockport, it'll be in your DNA and never leave by the sounds of it, thankfully. Reminds me of what a guy called Jimmy Tarbuck once recalled. From humble beginings, he was driving through his native Liverpool in his new Roller, when he got a dirty look from a local. He felt so guilty that he sold the car and never bought another. Different times. You deserve what you have ,enjoy it while you can.

dont feel guilty, you earnt your luxobarge, i came from a similar background to you and through hard work i managed to retire six years early to a nice place by the sea whilst those i grew up with are mainly still groveling round in the mud.

I know how you feel - I moved to Australia when I was 30 and my lifestyle now just seems surreal in many way. I have a Range Rover Sport, BMW M2, big caravan, 3 properties and looking to retire at 58. I live 5 mins from the beach and never have any money concerns. I pinch myself at times as can’t believe just how well I have done - it is down to working hard and now I am reaping the rewards. But having a reasonably humble background from North Wales it does feel weird - but enjoyable! Enjoy your rewards in life - we are only here once

You've earned it, Matt. I like the version you've chosen. Class! Enjoy your new life level. Ease into it ... and I'm not speaking of the natural wood thing...well, not necessarily anyway. You're much more than a "used car dealer". You give great advice, for all car owners, you're witty, honest and want to do the best you can for your customers. That is a whole hell of a lot to be proud of. God bless! P.S.: In your travels, don't forget to find true love. That is the "Range Rover" of the heart and of life.

    Story time....
A few years ago, I knew a guy, about the same as age as me and with a similar upbringing who's job was piloting Eric Clapton's boat.
He told me a story about when him and Mr Clapton were in Falmouth discussing the refit of another super yacht, they went for a walk when Clapton stopped, looked over Falmouth and broke down. He asked what had he ever done to deserve a lifestyle that he was enjoying.......
Can happen to anyone but hard work should be rewarded - if not, whats the point.
    You're doing a great job and have a huge following - that's priceless mate...👍👍

Our lives are grounded in our values and they develop as we mature and change. It is absolutely right to ask yourself exactly those questions and, to my mind, never take driving a Mercedes or flying business class for granted. My view is to never lose a sense of wonder and your true self-identity - it's what makes your videos so interesting and educational.

When I heard your thoughts about becoming successful in short period of time and at the same time you know that your audience’s level of success is somewhere in the middle, you started to miss that middle level. Cos you’ve almost reached the top and you think what next? The real level of satisfaction is always when you give something to others. In your case you can add to your daily routine something like, helping someone find his dream car or the car he needs to provide for his family etc. When you make others happy, that very thing will make you happy as well. That is real secret of fulfillment and satisfaction .

You put the pieces of the puzzle together all this video. Most people are raised with mentalities of "Don't show off your wealth, all debt is bad debt" etc that their parents/ their environment/ their teachers teach them and if you never want to be richer than those people, then go ahead and listen to their advice on money.
You're making it, you've hit a great milestone so celebrate your victory and keep going because you're only getting started!

Great looking car, beautiful colour, great to see white/black, just what you need whilst your business is going well. Enjoy it for a year, max out the warranty as everything will break/fall off then flog it quickly before what is left falls off and busts your business. No guilt allowed, we can all enjoy a treat in our lives if you have genuinely worked for it. In a few years you will be rocking around in an old Honda saying " Done all the cars I wanted, now I drive this because it is all that I want for me and my needs, not wants". We have all done it...! (Not the Rangie of course, or I really would be broke).

Nice one Matt. Lovely car! You went out and bought a new car, I went out and bought a 40yr old Triumph Acclaim (what I used to drive when I was 18 on my Dad's insurance) which I have wanted for years to relive my youth !!. Mind you, it got a few head turns as I was driving it back from Doncaster to Solihull, and it didn't miss a beat. Enjoy your car buddy!

Ex-Cheshire lad here, have been living in exile for 30 years. I remember chatting to the Rolls-Royce dealer at the car show in Sydney. He had a wonderful Silver-Shadow for sale, and I nearly purchased it there and then. What stopped me? Partly guilt that a Cheshire lad like me could buy one and more importantly, I did not want my dream of owning a Roller to come to an end. I had no such issue buying a Bristol or a Ferrari 400 (cheap back then). I am now back at the stage where I am buying a Roller - such is life!

Thank you for sharing. I had to stop the tube to write a comment. Your words were so encouraging, because it gave us all hope. I am not sure if an autobiography is on your "bucket list," it should be. Your lived experience is worth sharing with the world. The other consideration, and absolutely no pressure, is Mentoring, if I had received a mentoring support tutorial from your lived experience, I would be further along today. Thank you. And finally, who could imagine that your journey would have brought you here, and sharing elements of your personal and inspiring journey. Thank you for sharing. It's inspired me to keep going...
