We're switching from RO after 10 years and sure about UF as it will remove most impurities and heavy metals. The thing I'm concerned in our area is high amount of chloride and fluoride which is very bad for health specially bones and teeth. RO is life saver and makes difference of day & night. I'm going to arrange outside Pre Filter~Inline Sediment Filter~UF~Carbon~UV and then will test it against replacing RO with UF. Remind me to update and give valuable suggestions.

Hi brother.... We use to boil water in Aluminium pot and then transfer it to clay pot straining with a clean cloth.... Is it good.... Boiling normal tap water or well water, does it kill all good bacteria and minerals in the water....
After this video, I suggested my entire Family and relatives to use munciaity water which has a TDS of 220 and to filter it we are using rama UF filter with ceramic candles...

I agree with you but not 100% true. Because municipal water has tds range of 300ppm but rich in alkalinity and they will use Bliching to clean storages. Better is to use SEDIMENT + CARBON + UF before drinking. So that water will be chlorine free dust free and bacteria free.

Thanks for such a detailed review. Just trying to buy a good purifier to replace the damaged RO that I have. I got Vitamin D deficiency mostly linked to the low TDS sweet tasting water from RO that I had been using for the past 8 years. I was drinking water with less than 50 TDS. Few comments, I think TDS valve can make a 400 TDS borewell water to 150 or 200 TDS water by mixing the RO output water and the input water coming after Carbon and Sediment filters (If the so called TDS valve works, may need regular measure and adjust as the hard water may quickly block the 400 TDS input path). Better still, the normal water to TDS can go through UF filter to remove any heavy metals. This reduced TDS water then goes through UV for removing any bacteria or virus (per manufactures claim). I think this is what most RO filters do. Just that the technicians adjust TDS valve for TDS level to ~50 for good taste and customer satisfaction. This is dangerous. I am planning to request min TDS of 150. This should work I hope.

This may not be the best thing, boiled water kills bacteria but it doesn't removes harmful chemicals,imagine if there is arsenic in your water, I think boiling water then filtering it is best thing

Finally i have convinced my parents and UV UF water purifier is installed at my place now as TDS level is 250 here...but you dont know how much i had to argue for this with so many people around...sellers,relatives,friends even my father friend who is CMO (Chied Medical Officer)..he also told us to get tds under 150...i am amazed to see that how even the health professionals are so much influenced by all this... @@ph6263 Yes you need to know all are worst. All are prepared in Palm oil(worst refined oil ). The biscuits and namkeens are also made by the same oil(patanjali is not an exception). But if you are like you can't live without them then(these are also not healthy):- 1.Natkhat(Whole wheat). 2.Crax Curls(Corn Flour). 3.Patanjali Nariyal(whole wheat +Coconut). If you want some real and healthy than :- 1.Organic biscuits made up of jaggery and dry fruits. 2.Besan flakes made at home in coconut oil (very tasty).

Sir Maine gangajal ka bhi TDS check kiya It's 254 PPM 😁 , Aur Mere RO filter ka 11 PPM, then I stored that RO water in clay pot and after 24hrs, I checked it's TDS that is 64 PPM, So we can easily say that Drinking water from Clay / Copper utensils are healthier.
As per ayurved, water of copper vessel is best for rainy season, earthen pot for summers, gold pot for winters (or keep clean gold chain/coin in water)
@@rakeshkumar-fh6ke don't know about gold pot but clay and copper are good. I drink early morning empty stomach 1.5 glass and then do rest of the work. Always buy good quality copper. If you want to know if the copper jug you are using is good or not, you need to put water in jug and see if water becomes oily after a day. Good copper normally leaves oily layer during initial usage.
Hello FitTuber: Can you please do a video for users who wanted to transition (living in an area where the potable water levels are within acceptable TDS levels) from RO to UV+UF? We have been drinking RO for the past FIFTEEN years without knowing the damage we were doing to ourselves and wanted to transition. But, have been advised that it will be hard on the throat. Can you please do a video or point me to a resource which will educate me about: 1) Problems/issues that I will have to live with as we transition from RO to UV+UF 2) Medication that I will have to keep handy (natural) 3) Are there any ways for us to maintain the PH balance of the water? CLAY POTs can be used in summer to maintain and manage the balance. However, what can be done during Winter and Rainy seasons 4) Any other points you deem as appropriate. Thanks.

@@shal9s there is no minimum threshold for TDS in the drinking water..But if TDS is more than 500ppm or mg/lit..The sample should be rejected

Because municipal water has tds range of 300ppm but rich in alkalinity and they will use Bliching to clean storages. Better is to use
SEDIMENT + CARBON + UF before drinking. So that water will be chlorine free dust free and bacteria free.

Thanks for such a detailed review. Just trying to buy a good purifier to replace the damaged RO that I have. I got Vitamin D deficiency mostly linked to the low TDS sweet tasting water from RO that I had been using for the past 8 years. I was drinking water with less than 50 TDS.
Few comments,
I think TDS valve can make a 400 TDS borewell water to 150 or 200 TDS water by mixing the RO output water and the input water coming after Carbon and Sediment filters (If the so called TDS valve works, may need regular measure and adjust as the hard water may quickly block the 400 TDS input path). Better still, the normal water to TDS can go through UF filter to remove any heavy metals. This reduced TDS water then goes through UV for removing any bacteria or virus (per manufactures claim). I think this is what most RO filters do. Just that the technicians adjust TDS valve for TDS level to ~50 for good taste and customer satisfaction. This is dangerous. I am planning to request min TDS of 150. This should work I hope.

Nice informationand perfect analysis but I have to disagree in few points.
1. Active charcoal/carbon filter is powerful and can absorb oillutants like pesticide, organic, heavymetals as well. Its highly recommended. these impurities sometimes not removed by NF, RO and UF.

Sir Maine gangajal ka bhi TDS check kiya It's 254 PPM 😁 , Aur Mere RO filter ka 11 PPM, then I stored that RO water in clay pot and after 24hrs, I checked it's TDS that is 64 PPM, So we can easily say that Drinking water from Clay / Copper utensils are healthier.

@@rakeshkumar-fh6ke don't know about gold pot but clay and copper are good. I drink early morning empty stomach 1.5 glass and then do rest of the work.
Always buy good quality copper. If you want to know if the copper jug you are using is good or not, you need to put water in jug and see if water becomes oily after a day. Good copper normally leaves oily layer during initial usage.

Hello FitTuber: Can you please do a video for users who wanted to transition (living in an area where the potable water levels are within acceptable TDS levels) from RO to UV+UF? We have been drinking RO for the past FIFTEEN years without knowing the damage we were doing to ourselves and wanted to transition. But, have been advised that it will be hard on the throat. Can you please do a video or point me to a resource which will educate me about: 1) Problems/issues that I will have to live with as we transition from RO to UV+UF 2) Medication that I will have to keep handy (natural) 3) Are there any ways for us to maintain the PH balance of the water? We're switching from RO after 10 years and sure about UF as it will remove most impurities and heavy metals. The thing I'm concerned in our area is high amount of chloride and fluoride which is very bad for health specially bones and teeth.
RO is life saver and makes difference of day & night.
I'm going to arrange outside Pre Filter~Inline Sediment Filter~UF~Carbon~UV and then will test it against replacing RO with UF.
