Finishing up my Polyp lab medic. I had Velvet so I wound up removing all fish and they are in QT. Day 12 I think I caught it in time. Good luck with the battle. Looks like your fish are doing well. Tank looks great! Have a great trip to Cozumel. I've been twice and Santa Rosa wall was my favorite Dive spot. Enjoy
Tank looks amazing!!! You are a lot more brave than I! We went to Mexico this time of year a few years back. It is HOT!!! Enjoy, can't wait to see what you record!!
Hey Pelphrey, I was in cancun this time last year also, yea it was brutal HOT!!!.. I'm spending the week in the ocean and a pool sloppy drunk...pretty sure the heat won't matter... ;-)
you're quite right mate, medic supresses but will not eliminate it. I treated the reef tank right through the 9 week fallow period with medic and it still came back 3 weeks after going back in. I threw it in the bin.
i like lots of reefers have had white spot. tried this treatment and it didn't work for me. i bought a uv as i was told it would help, it didn't. even tried running ozone as i read it can kill parasites. only way is to catch the fish and qt with copper. on a better note your tank looks great. really nice blend of fish and colour.
Damn, i watched this video a few days ago just for fun and now i have to re watch cause i have ich as of this morning. Powdered blue tang is covered. Wife left the AC on all night cause the temp to drop like 4 degrees over night.
Nope neither one is. From what I've read. As long as the shrimp are decent size and they are in the tank first they are normally safe. If I add one now it would probably get eaten.
DONT BUY IT guys beware with this product is water conditiones isnt medic product so YOU RISK ALL YOUR FISH TANK my fishes die and polyp lab say a bunch of stupid thing getting sorry about my fish tank but never asume the product is a scammer the instructions booklet didn't say so much jus add 2 times a day but the response of polyp lab was so different so BUY IT ON YOUR OWN RISK AND FISHES LIFE high percent to kill fishes cuz is a water conditioner not a medic product as it says in the box and polyp lab describe
What a shame. Watched the 2018 update video, and he talks about how the friend he talked about in the beginning nuked the tank. This hobby can kick you in the balls from time to time
I hope so Will. Only thing is the spots are so small it has me nervous. I've dealt with crypto before. Them spots were definitely visible on the fish. These are Mabey 1/4 the size. Could have to do with the medic not sure.

I am very jealous, we've been to Cancun twice and LOVE it there. We've stayed at the LeBlanc Palace Resort both times and absolutely love the resort.

Looking good Wayne! Have fun in Mexico!!
Thanks Mike. Can't wait to hit the reef
Ya man it's going to be a lot of fun! Can't wait to see the video!!
Cozumel! There's a great restaurant that I highly recommend called "La Choza". Good stuff!
Awesome man. I'll definitely hit it up.
Do I have to remove socks ?
Hi, have you been doing your regular water changes while treating? Thank you.
How is the tank going? Miss your tank update :(
Do you have a UV on the system
No not on the system. I do have one though... Just not supposed to use it with the zeovit system.

Yea it is what it is. As long as it keeps it at bay while I'm gone I guess it served its purpose. I'll qt when I get back.
Mario
The one you called a red planet is actually a red dragon
What's going on with the tank?
How are the dimensions of the tank ?😁😆
72x30x22 high.
Have you tried Hydrogen peroxide for ICH? its pretty good mate,
Have you seen chasing coral?
No. What is it, Documentary? Just watched it... All I can say is wow...
How is the tank going?
Update please.

Can you overdose this stuff?
Don't know I always used the max dose... No issues!!
How are the fish doing now? Also, you have the best intro in the reefing TH-cam community.
Thanks Tim. Intro short and sweet 😀 Still in Mexico fish sitter hasn't giving me any bad news so far. Fingers crossed
Nice tank
Have you had any problems with your triggers or wrasse going after the shrimp?
Nope not at all. Trigger had his mouth open yesterday and my fire shrimp was cleaning inside of it. Quite a sight to see.
Wow, good to know. I'll definitely keep a cleaner shrimp on my list. I might possibly take the cleaner gobies off in this case.
Sr. you are dosing two part?
Yes ESV B-Ionic.
has it cured it then ? im on day 15 on my treatment
Did 30 days.. No signs of any spots.. Been 2 1/2 months..
btw. your trigger isn't interested in your shrimp?
Nope neither one is. From what I've read. As long as the shrimp are decent size and they are in the tank first they are normally safe. If I add one now it would probably get eaten.
I am having the same issues with blue tang, do you think this is worth a shot or should just remove them

Wish I could be your tank sitter haha

Looks like a red dragon not a red planet
Yea. Can't use annotations anymore to make corrections. I noted it in the description right after I made the video.
highly doubt velvet.. seems more like ich to me!
I hope so Will. Only thing is the spots are so small it has me nervous. I've dealt with crypto before. Them spots were definitely visible on the fish. These are Mabey 1/4 the size. Could have to do with the medic not sure.
The company that comes up with a real, verified by scientific study, reef safe crypto 100% eradication methodology will be an overnight millionaire!
For sure. I guess its serving it purpose while I'm gone next week. I'll deal with it when I get back. Still not sure if it velvet or not.
