ICH FIX for Lazy Reefers - Yes, it really works

  • I've tried everything you could imagine trying to beat ich. I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to cure a fish. I've dismantled tanks for fresh water dips and copper dips. There is one additive I've found that has worked better than anything else I've tried in my 25+ years of reefing. I've got some cool reef stuff coming up later, hit the sub and bell icon so you don't miss. This isn't a reef channel, but it's one of the things we do.

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was stupid and risked buying a fish at Petco and it introduced ich to the tank. All my fish seemed fine (except spots) but my favorite clownfish had it the worst. Developed webbing around his mouth and just looked like he was suffering and it made me so sadddddd. I couldn't get him out of the tank due to all the rock work and coral so I was desperately looking for reef safe treatments. It was getting worse day by day and then I saw this video. Dropped a teaspoon of ginger this morning and in a few hours HIS WHITE MOUTH WEBBING IS GONE. He was able to gobble a huge breakfast is looking so much better. I will continue dosing ginger but just had to thank youuuuuuu. He just looks so much happpppier at the moment and is swimming much more - I think it worked!! At least in this moment!!

Ich is there, it's not necessarily the shops fault. Ich occurs naturally, seems as humans carry some viruses throughout their entire life within their body which only emerges and shows symptoms when your immune system is weak. Maybe that fish was just really stressed out when you bought it and the ich took over.

you had fish with ich on them? currently have 2 tangs with noticeable white spots and raised bumps, 8 other fish with no signs of it (clowns, diamond goby, firefish, anthias, chromis) 125 gal tank QT isnt a real feasible option for me so im trying to avoid and all my LFS are currently closed for the next 2 days. Im trying it regardless because why not what do i have to lose at this point lol.

I've done it myself with great success. Also have diced up garlic and fed directly to the tangs. That has helped when it was a bit stronger to deal with. This video definitely helped me out.

Thank you for the video. I've lost most of my fish to this disease in my tank. I have found that my Cardinals of different species are the survival king and queens of the tank. I'm now just stocking up on softies and leather corals with different species of Cardinals. I don't want to go through that stress again.

My strategy is: 1. make sure the LFS has had the fish for at least 2 weeks and is free of spots, 2. have a cleaner shrimp in the tank. I think that works for ich (but not marine velvet). And feed heavy after introducing the fish.
