I've been using this for my yellow tang for the last 15 days. I was dosing 2 scoops and it kept getting worse. I started dosing 3 scoops 2x/day and after about 4 days of that, he's starting to look better. When I started dosing this, he had about 5 - 10 spots. During the treatment, it got worse and worse. Yesterday, he had maybe 5 spots. Hoping this knocks it out completely. One thing to mention... The first time I dosed this, I just sprinkled it in my tank in the return flow. GSP hasn't opened on one side ever since. My recommendation is to dissolve it in tank water and not let the granules fall on corals. Thanks for the vid Farm Boy!

I believe the granules are meant to be a time release, so be careful about dissolving that stuff.

I am new to the saltwater world and I bought a fish online that was really expensive. I didn't have a quarantine tank for my new fish. A couple days went buy and I noticed some white spots on my new blue tang. I went to LFS and purchased Medic and the white spots went away over a couple weeks. I dosed it twice a day. Really easy to do. The spoon is super small! This product DOES ABSOLUTELY WORK! My tank is now beautiful and the fish are happy.

Awesome video. Wish I knew about this earlier. My fishes are currently battling ich. That are almost on their 4th week on a quarantined tank while running copper. I noticed ich was only attaching themselves to my royal gramma. He was the only one scratching himself on the liverocks as well. Can't wait to bring all my fishes back home.

Quarantine and copper and leaving display tank fallow for 80-90 days will cure ich 100%.
Polyp Lab will only reduce the ich concentration by a percentage - enough for your fish to recover and possibly fight it off. But the ich could build up again.
I dont have the courage to use Copper as I used trichlorfon and wiped out the tank and am wary of medications.
So now I use a strong UV steriliser to manage the ich for my new fish. I know the ich is still in the water in reasonable concentrations, but not enough to cause an outbreak.

Hi I enjoyed your video very informative and subscribed. I have a 75 gallon preformed pond w 2 koi 7" and one lrge pleco approx 14". I'll be moving them to a 400 gal preformed pond in March 2022.
I've had my my pleco for 10 yrs and koi 7 months, a few months after getting koi noticed white spots on my pleco, but nothing on my koi.
I turned up heater to 82° and added very small doses of salt b/c plecos don't do well w salt and noticed my pleco was having a hard time, so stopped the salt. I've done many water changes 25%-40% weekly since, I think all the salt is out by now.
The pond got that tea color so used activated charcoal and clarity 'muck off' a week ago, pond is already clearing.
Can I use this now even though I've used muck off? And is this safe for my pleco?
I test pond weekly everything is perfect except high phosphate due to leaves its why I used muck off to get through winter til change to new pond.
Please reply as I'm searching like crazy for the right product that wont hurt koi or my pleco and plants.
    Thank you~ 😊

SPS started to STN at day 15, LPS closed up at day 10. This product does not kill ich, it keeps the numbers down so the fish can build enough immunity over time. I stopped the treatment at day 20, royal gramma died about 4 days later. Polyplab zero customer service not even a response to an email with a simple question.

Hello sir - Can I do water changes when using this during the 10-20 day cycle? I know if I do a water chnage, I will be dilluting the sloution as am taking water out but if I don't do any water changes for 10-20 days, my nitrate will go really high and am sure that will cause the fish stress. I do a 50 litre water change once a week. 25 Litres on a Monday and 25 Litres on a Friday. I guess I could drop it to just one 25 litre water a chnage a week but not sure. Please could you advise further? Many thanks in advance.

This product does not cure ich. It simply slows down one part of the parasites cycle, I've had ich twice, once when I introduced a nasso tang without quarentine, it stressed out changed colour, and got ich and was dead within 4 days, this then had a knock on effect and took out my kole tang, royal grammar, and clown pair. The second time I naively bought a bleached anemone.. it died in 2weeks, and literally disintegrated in my tank, luckily I siphoned it out but the damage was done. I noticed a couple of white flecks on my bristletooth tangs pec fins. So like before I ran medic as per the instructions but this time I ran a uv sterilizer... I managed to keep my tang alive 3 weeks this time round. The medic will only kill the ich when it's in the water column. It also dissolves quickly hence why you add morning and night. Unfortunately ich will not halt it's cycle to fit in with your water treatment programme. There are 3 stages to the cycle as you know so how is killing one stage going to cure it? I ran medic, uv I was advised to, but did not dip the fish in Ro as I couldn't catch it. All it did was prolong the inevitable. I am now buying quarantine tank. It's the only way if you have a mixed reef. Leave you display fallow for 8 weeks and treat fish in quarantine with copper. I love this hobby and none of us got into it thinking it was going to be cheap. Protect your investment, get a quarantine tank!! Happy Reefing

Unfortunately, there is no such thing. There are only two ways to effectively eliminate the parasite and they both involve leaving the display tank without fish for 8+ weeks while treating the fish with either copper or hyposalinity.

FARM BOY REEF don't take this as an attack on you bc I enjoy your videos and have gotten some great information from you but if this really worked then every fish store in the world would use it and would never have ich in their tanks and nobody would ever get ick and polyp lab would be the most lucrative company in the business.... I've not seen one reputable company ever mention let alone provide any evidence to support this. If you are getting money from them I get it but people rely on you for good information and all you are doing is lying to make money or you legit believe that it works..... Don't know which is worse?

+Big Salty no money bud. Plus it worked for me lol. I don't think you understand. Yes you have your ideas that's cool. I am not nocking them. But this gets old about medic. I do all this for education and learning that's it. I have a full time job. Maybe products on the market that work well. So let's just chill out lol. Stop beating the dead horse lol. It worked for me. If it didn't work for me I would tell them. Honesties is the best policy. And I appreciate you watching my channel glad you enjoy it.
