All of us one day. Only Johnny would have the strength and courage to record something like this. Absolute legend. I love the intimacy of this last performance. It's brutal. It's real.
To see him in this shape makes me soooo sad. On the the other hand I admire him for his will he never gave up. He performed till his last breath. RIP Johnny CASH.
I disagree. I'm 57 and grew up with Johnny. I think he is doing a great job and he is doing what he loves. He sounds great and will pay big bucks to see him play
He performed his last concert in both the month and year I was born in. Who would have knew that I would come to be one of his biggest fans of all time! 💜
Has anyone of his “fans” noticed the voice coaching and the pain in his loved ones faces throughout this whole performance? He a June have been iconic for me and not only me… this being sad, why is no one else seeing the pain and the commercialism in his last performance ?
I disagree with everyone who says it's sad or heartbreaking. I'm 57 and grew up with Johnny. I think he is doing a great job and he is doing what he loves. He sounds great and will pay big bucks to see him play
So. I have read all of the comments saying how sad. And miserable they feel to see this man in such a poor are you talking about-when he made this show it was not about him you understand-is simply tried to show praise and admiration. For a wonderful human that inspired him- june carter cash was her name.
I say and I tell you-=he's not doing it because he needs to. Not because he has to or even wants to+this man is paying respect to an amazing loving woman -love him with her whole heart she did untill she was no more.
I admire him for coming out to perform one last time, I definitely admire him for that, but seeing him so frail and sounding so hoarse breaks my heart.

Sometimes I think the more I see him so old, sick and weak, the more I love him. I can't manage to say goodbye, not even after 20 years .
This is so heartbreaking 💔 every time I see this final performance of him.
Rest In Peace Mr. Cash.

He misses June so much in this video. It almost feels like his mind is crying
He’s only holding it together because he’s been on stage forever. He’s going through the motions…. This is his song to her… “I want to be with you”

R.I.P Legend 😢
He died just two months after this performance 😢
RIP Johnny Cash
I'm sure he was seriously ill because he looks like he's 101, not 71. But it doesn't change anything. Johnny Cash is eternal.
I was just reading about him. He had a nervous system disease.
Love you Johnny ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
God Bless’Em ✝️
I don't know if you noticed but the guitar sound is pure crystal!

Der Tod von June hat ihm die Kraft genommen, er ist voller Sehnsucht!!

My birthday was on July 5th so as soon as my next birthday hits I will sing this song
Was he scared to die?
I imagine so. However, he had probably come to terms with it.
@@itsgoofymf7685 he once said in an interview "i expect to die soon" or something like that
"Who's gonna cry when old John dies?"
Sad he would pass only 2 months after this last performance
