I was nervous about using it at first but it's easier than people make it seem. I actually used it to coat my kitchen countertops in my old house and I've had zero problems with it setting up or anything.
Oh Cassie you know ive been waiting for this one my waffles have needed syrup for a year now, I just needed somebody to show me how to make it it doesn't look that intimidating I think I can handle syrup. I'll keep my fingers crossed I can do it. Thank you thank you thank you
It's so easy! Don't be nervous if you've never worked with resin. I've never had a time that it didn't set up right even when I measure it with cups rather than a scale.
I've only used it a few times. A lot of people don't like to use it so I try to stay away from it but I haven't found an alternative that looks the same yet.
Stamping them is such a great idea! I just got the red mold off Amazon. It came in a pack of 2 but they’re sooo flimsy! When I was trying to press my clay in it and then pull it out, my clay got deformed. I ended up stacking the 2 molds together to make is more sturdy. I’m definitely gonna make a stamper so they’re easier to clean up!
I love this. I am about to try and make some, but I thought I would have to wait for them to dry before painting them. Also, do you have a tutorial on how to make large flat pancakes, like we have in the UK?
I don't know what UK pancakes look like but I do have a pancake tutorial on my channel. If you go to my channel and search pancake or on youtube search Cassie Smallwood pancake you should find it.
You can put paint in resin but you won't get the see through look. It will be more solid color. For syrup I would recommend alcohol ink to make it look realistic.
The resin doesn't stick to wax paper. You can also use a silicone mat and it won't stick. If you're ok with it being permanently stuck to the plate, you can just pour the resin while it's on the plate.
Those look soooo real! The round one really does look like an Eggo waffle 🧇! I can't wait to make some of those. Can you show us how to make bacon, sausages and hashbrowns to go along with it please? Toast and jam too! TFS
I used your technique to make fake waffle cones, they came out great but I used Crayola air dry clay which I realized was wrong , should of been air dry light I think, I see you use BOHS what should I use? What is your go to, when I clicked your link on a video it brought me to BOHS Amazon even though it said Crayola? Thank you
Any type of foam clay will work. I prefer Bohs but Model Magic will work. The hard air dry clay works as well but your cones will be heavy. I've done it both ways. It depends on how you're using them if you want them lightweight.
Hi Frankie! I have that tutorial available in my Etsy shop. It's 100% fake. Don't be fooled by some others that use real cereal. www.etsy.com/listing/1225896414/how-to-make-fake-rice-krispy-treats-fake
When did Apple Barrel paint go from .50 to 5.90 for a 2 oz bottle on Amazon? WOW!!!! I am loving your videos Cassie :) Thanks so very much for teaching us
Instead of using polymer clay. Use square dowels. They sell them individually in multiple sizes or theres a variety pack. Hobby Lobby, Joanns, and home improvement stores all carry them. Though Menards probably has the largest variety and cheapest prices.
You have a very steady hand, those are perfection squares
I used to make very intricate designs on nails. So I do have a steady hand 😊 But the squares and pattern probably aren't as perfect as they look.
They are both absolutely real looking 😍😍😍 Your creativity is amazing!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you, Barbara ❤️ They're on my table and make me hungry every time I walk past 😂
Thank you so much. Wonderful Tutorial.
Thank you 🥰
I like them both! I have a sudden urge to go toast a waffle!
😂 I love waffles!
Love these, never used resin before been kind of scared of it but may have to give it a try!

I’m afraid to use resin. I’ve heard it is bad for your lungs and breathing , but I love the way it looks! I see you use it often. Love your ideas!
I've only used it a few times. A lot of people don't like to use it so I try to stay away from it but I haven't found an alternative that looks the same yet.
there is clear water based caulk. maybe add a little acrylic color and mod podge to thin it?
They r both beautiful
Thank you, Yvette ❤️

Oh man! Sounds like my video was a little too late.
@@CassieSmallwood not at all. I can still utilize this technique to fix any messed up area. Thanks for the video!
I love the round, but both turned off perfect
Thank you, Bobbie ❤️
Thanks for captions. Both look so life like and your instructions are easy to follow thank you

Excellent tutorial! Both are perfect!

Very nice video. Thank you :)
Do you have to use alcohol resins colors or could we use paint?

Hi Cassie, I like both waffles. Great job, you are so creative. TSMFS Blessings be safe and well. 💖👸🏾🙏🏽😘
Thank you so much! I had fun making them.
They both look sooo real!..where did u find modelite? I haven’t been able to find it..
I got it at Walmart but I no longer use it because it was super sticky the last few times. I use Bohs from Amazon now.
Nicely done!!! Thank you for this tutorial :)
Thank YOU for watching 😊
Also won't the resin stick and adhere to the wax paper? Or is it best to place on a plate first before adding the resin?
The resin doesn't stick to wax paper. You can also use a silicone mat and it won't stick. If you're ok with it being permanently stuck to the plate, you can just pour the resin while it's on the plate.

@@CassieSmallwood they certainly look good enough to eat❤️
these are definitely one of my favorite things. Too cute!😍😍😍
Thank you! 😊
Awesome! How long it takes to dry?...
Usually a day or two, but it can be longer if it's cold or wet weather.
@@CassieSmallwood Thank you Cassie! :)
Yay!!! These are cute!!! I am interested in the syrup!!! Have you made fake honey?
I'm recording a video with fake honey tomorrow to go out next week!

It depends on the color. Most are 54 cents but some colors the price goes up drastically on occasion. Not sure why.
I really love it😍😘
Thank you so much ❤️
Love these!
Thanks Malia! I haven't seen you around in a while. Nice to see your name pop up 😊
I use a meat tenderizer mallet
Cassie You Are Amazing...I Love 💛 These Waffles & I Am Making One Right Now TFS & By The Way I Am a New Sub!!!👍😊
Thanks for subscribing! I think these waffles were one of your requests on my community tab post.
Questions, you didn't have to wait for the foam to dry
I didn't wait for it to dry. Since the bottom doesn't have resin it will dry. You could wait if you prefer but I didn't.
Amazing! 💚💚💚
Thank you! 🥰
How did you make the “cream”?
It's lightweight spackling. This video will tell you all about it th-cam.com/video/1vEkry2k2ms/w-d-xo.html
