Hey, man quick question?Where did you get
Those chrome wheels for that bike
I like the idea of the racing clutch,, but where did you purchase this clutch
I got it from bmi karts!
How did u make the motor chrome I got one and put rod and piston in it and I want it to look cool, so what paint can I get to make it stick and look that good
U can buy that cover in Chrome. Or paint it
What kind of key way did you use for the the clutch?
It has a keyway already installed in the clutch so I used that one but the size is a 3/16
I got a question, I’m thinking I’m going to buy a Titan" Racing Clutch from Premier (Noram), 14T #35 Chain I’m also going to upgrade the sprocket to a split sprocket. How many tooth sprocket would you use with the 14 tooth clutch to get 55+mph? I want to do like you were saying get a good clutch to cruise with but then be able to go real fast if I wanted. I’m only thinking about getting a 14 tooth clutch because a friend is telling me too. What gearing would you use while still having a good ratio to not burn it out? I have a stage three predator on a DB 30 minibike.
If you have a 60 tooth sprocket you should be able to achieve that no problem!
If your gonna get a titan clutch, i would recommend you also get a lower engagement springs for it. In the video he was basically explaining that you dont want to linger below the engagement of the springs. Engagement is when the clutch engages. Theres diff springs for different engagements . The titan comes with a 4000 rpm engagement. I dont think your engine is built that much . Especially for cruising bud. If i were you , i would save your cash and get a cheaper one . Bro im using an amazon clutch and im hitting 75mph lol. I have a built engine that does need the titan and that build if for just racing . Hope this helps .
Also , an expensive clutch isn’t gonna make u faster. Hope u dont take it a diss. I wish someone would have told me this when i first started building engines.
@@Greybuiltracing exactly. All about your power your producing and your gear ratio
@@Greybuiltracing my engine has a stage three around 14 hp you think I should still get a different spring? I am still learning about all this. I have a friend that helped me build it and that’s what he’s recommending. I got billet rod, 356 grind cam, flat top piston, billet flywheel, billet side cover,28 pound valve springs, nibbi carb. thinking doin heads soon.
Where did you get those wheels done?
We got it done at a custom chrome plating shop!
Do u prefer da Noram over Hilliard
I’ve never owned a Hilliard but I’m pleased with the noram clutch
Where did you ge the rims ???
We got them chromed custom
What size slick tire you running in the back
It is a 13in tall on a 6in rim
Yea cause seen some slick tires at tractor supply
Does a race clutch make it faster
Yes! One can engage better so you can launch harder and you can go with a different gear ratio selection as well which you can gain speed or gain torque
It can but not by nature of what a clutch is doing vs another clutch, they all pretty much work the same with only minor exceptions. Where you gain is in engagement and high rpm lock-up. On the bottom, if you engage at a higher RPM for launch, and you don't completely knock the tires off it you're going to be quicker 0-30mph for example. At the top end, if your clutch locks up better, meaning you have less slippage, you are going to gain mph because there is no energy loss.
As far as greasing the crank the explanation given is only partly correct. What you really want to do is put "anti seize" there vs traditional grease. The rule of thumb is that any metal on metal surface contact where there is no rotation/movement then use anti seize, if there is movement then you use the appropriate type of grease for the application! Anti seize has higher heat tolerance than grease usually as well and primarily is used to prevent galling, seizing and corrosion. It also assists in lubricating to ease disassembly, which is what is needed here. There are more differences between anti seize and grease but for this particular application that covers what you need to know!
Fuck yeah you live in AZ?
Heck yeah!👍🏼
Me too I’m in Peoria I’m trying to make my bike street legal
@@greasyxxrick9132 heck yeah that’s what’s up man!
