just received my used MKII in the mail on Friday, really enjoy your videos! I love Jon too but I appreciate that you show the struggle and frustration lmao. It's also nice to see someone with a kind of left-field, overload-adjacent set of influences.
To be totally frank, I've been soaking in the Octatrack lately and have gotten used to a lot of the weird stuff from unbroken hours of jamming, and when you started I was like man, I don't know how this is gonna go, and I'd have a hell of a time with those samples, and then I watched you sculpt it up and come through with a great track in the end. subbed.
That was Bach's Brandenburg concertos, no 5 I believe - so a bit later than medieval! Worth listening some other time, there's like a 5 min harpsichord breakdown in the middle before the chorus comes back in...I agree it wasn't working on this track though... Cool vid and track, keep up the good work 👍
@@davemachine so i've given it a good clean, only things that i couldnt clean are the pots as they are rubberised and have become stained. i like the look tho lol
I really appreciate that you leave the raw chunk of sample when listening if anyone else wants to take them!
Ahh I hadn't thought of this, I will continue then haha

Ahh thank you, sometimes you’ve just got to keep going and trust the process haha
The most fun Octatrack vid I’ve seen :)
Nice work…
Tip: to start play from ‘page 4’ as you asked: use the arranger with offset.
Ahhh ok! I’ve never really spent much time with the arranger, another feature I’ve been leaving for another day haha, I’ll have a look this week!
Nice work man!
nice!!!
