Just replaced side mirrors on 02 Avalanche
Did NOT have to take apart door panels, just the plastic triangle shown at beginning of video.
Nuts and electrical connections were right there.

What did you cut the wires off on the new one and old one then cap them together? 🤔

@@EvilAntic having that problem right now, my 06 avalanche requires me to take the door off but it's no problem just had to buy the 7mm socket. I'm not replacing the mirror itself I'm replacing the whole thing
