Very welcome, thank you for watching. In terms of using them for coding on a PC, you could use them for that but it would take some getting used to. Ideally, the ability to have multiple logical displays using the XR glasses would make it much easier for coding and what I personally would love to see. Not sure what IDE you're using, but if you can launch multiple instances of it and share multiple windows with your IDE of choice. That may work for you.

I am very keen on getting those. I tried the xReal Air 2 Pro. Although the imagine Quality looks perfectly fine for watching movies etc, the FOV (very much the same as the RayNeo Air 2) is way way too small. As soon as you move your head a bit, the screen disappears, which just doesn't feel right to me. I'd wish they'd use 2x QHD displays instead of 2xFHD and increase the FOV massivly. I think around 90 would be a good starting point...

Thanks a lot for the great informative video. Pick them up from Amazon and took them back. They did not fit good on my face my nose is too big.

I bet those would be great for laying in bed to watch a movie, without disturbing anyone!

Thanks for this thorough review. I am curious if these glasses will work with newer iPhones and iPads, which have USB-C. In other words, was the external box just needed to convert lightning to the USB-C plug, or was it also needed to get around Apple's serial connection restrictions?

Very welcome, thank you for watching! I've not owned an iPhone since the iPhone 4, so I'm not the best one to answer this question. However, it appears the iPhone 15 now supports DP output: www.macrumors.com/2023/09/13/all-iphone-15-models-support-displayport/ . If that is indeed the case, the adapter shown here shouldn't be needed.

Can you use earphones with the glasses ? or does it disconnect the earphones when you plug the glasses in ?

    • @WagnersTechTalk

You can connect bluetooth headphones to your device and use it that way if you prefer.

At least 4K would be needed for a 201" display imho.

4K would have been nice indeed. Perhaps that will happen in a future model.
