I’m from the metro, but currently in Ely. I hit up the Kawishiwi Falls Trail today. Good place for inspiration and market research. 😉 You can be sure I was studying EVERY shirt worn by other hikers for color, graphic images, styles, age of wearer, etc. Fun!! I start something then all these ideas flow in and next minute I’m starting a completely different design in a different genre! Mandy, can you give your opinion or advice on a “dead shop”?
I started my Etsy shop / account probably about 7 months ago. I let it sit for a few months before diving in and diligently designing and uploading listings. I am doing digital downloads/templates.
I’ve seen a few people online say that’s a huge no no and to not let your shop sit at all but who knows. Do you have any wisdom on this?

She a pro at this so she doesn't have a learning curve like we do. Just keep learning and implementing what you learn. You will get there. She also has a mentoring program which will help
My first shop took some time too - remember, I’ve now got a couple years of practice and learning under my belt (and do my best to share what’s worked along the way!) 😊 The point is that success on Etsy is still possible, so keep at it and you’ll get there!! 💜💜

What shops do you purchase your mocks from? I can’t seem to find the shops that use the real products instead of AI images.
Does anybody know how to in your ad if you wanted to sell a physical product and a digital download? Is there a way to put it all in the same drop-down menu in Etsy? I’ve seen it. Somebody was selling a sippy cup glass and had two different sizes and the drop-down menu and it also had youhad choice of buying the digital download in the same ad. Is that possible?
I never pay attention to the „x views in the last 24 hours“ because i think maybe they just have a big ads budget

how many listings/$$per day should i start with for ads?
I turn them on for all of them in the beginning for at least $5/day, then start monitoring. Ones that don’t sell or eat up too much ad budget with no return get turned off eventually, but in the beginning it’s all about data collection 🤓

Totally understand! I linked several videos in the description where I do show a variety of different steps in more detail (since none of them are quick things to show and including it all together would make it a super long video). Generally speaking the topics that I’m talking about and frequently showing on my channel are all tied into these concepts. Researching, batching, and niche themes to build out in particular are the biggest part of this and I show that in several videos (particularly my time-blocking/batching series) 🤓💜
