  • Introducing our first ever softshell roof top tent designed to be compact, ultra lightweight, and easy to store- Meadowlark.
Unlike traditional softshell rooftop tents, which often include cumbersome poles and guy lines. The Meadowlark sets up in seconds. Just pull off the cover, use the telescoping ladder to fold the tent out, extend the integrated interior U-bar, and camp is set.
Not only is Meadowlark easy to set up, it’s also incredibly easy to store. Meadowlark measures 47” x 44” and 12” tall when closed. At only 90 lbs, it’s a breeze to put on and take off. With its compact footprint, wide crossbars have enough room to also carry a bike(or another toy).
When fully deployed, Meadowlark folds out 80” long, 43” wide, and 36” tall, providing enough room for two adults *. A 2.5-inch-thick dual-density mattress provides a sturdy yet supple sleeping surface.
By extending the quality and know-how of our in-house product development team to a new category of softshell rooftop tents, we further our hopes to see more and more campers reaping the benefits and convenience of roof top tent camping.

Nice. Whole layer of un-graded b-roll in an official product video. Nice work fellas 😂

That's super dope! Does Roofnest sell the bike mount, or other optional awnings? There was one by Alu-Cab one that folds out to a shower area that was really cool!

Depends upon the dimensions of your setup (vehicle etc). I have a 2022 Tacoma double cab short bed and a bed cover with bed racks and a Yakima HighRoad bike rack . For me, plenty of space for this RTT shifted to one side (left for me) and the bike rack with plenty of clearance away from the tent. It’s only 44” wide for folding out to the left/right and 47” long. Math it out vs. your situation.

Your Honda would fit on top of the tent.

Any reason(s) you guys went with a 43” width? 55” would’ve been soooo much better. Ugh!

Defeats the purpose of this product. Get the XL or different choice from RoofNest if desire bigger. I chose this because it is small / easy to store in my limited space Condo (the front patio closet storage for me, aka ‘the bike garage’ and flash water heater).

This is good if you're short, have no dogs, and don't need to use the restroom at night.

I’m tall enough (6’0”), have a dog, wake up every night to pee (usually only once), and LOVE my roofnest 🥰
