I saw your other video where you showed how to drill out the bolt from the ignition (from the Yamaha R3). Much easier to do if the triple clamp is already removed. Unfortunately mine is still on the bike with the ignition in the locked position (the ignition key slot was vandalized and cannot be turned), so I'm giving up on DIY and simply taking it to the shop.
I have seen some were they require you to place the key inside a sleeve that comes with the kill switch, does this still requieres the key like other bikes?
Yes you would still be able to use them with this keyswitch eliminator. This mod is something that is most commonly done to a race or track only bike. If you do this to a street bike it would be very easy to steal the bike considering you no longer need a key. - Van
