when i first started driving, i began to notice that you simply can not trust other drivers, so i needed to adjust my thinking to assume every driver on the road is a dumbshit and i should always be on my guard because everyone on the road is a fucking retard.
anyway, with this mentality in mind, it's always saved me from the idiots who drive like morons, people say drive defensively, i have seen this will often be the cause of more accidents, i learned it's better to give everyone a wide fucking birth, because people are unpredictable, i mean they are predictable to a point when you see them mimic the behavior of the other cars around them, tailgating, crossing in front of other cars slowing down without reason at freaking 80mph zones, but they are unpredictable when it comes to what they might do within seconds and at the drop of a hat or their cell phone because they just cant keep their hands off of these devices for fuck sake, so you have to assume everyone on the road is a fucking retard and at any moment they could potentially do some dumb shit that could lead to your life ending.
anyway some folks don't like the way i drive because they are so used to everyone driving like their moron ass driving skills, that when they come near me, they think i'm the problem driver as they tail gate or try to cut me off and try to intimidate me into making very dangerous decisions and risky moves, all because they want to cause problems via intimidation, when the appropriate thing to do is just pass me up and suddenly all their issues go away.
the behavior of people driving their cars reminds me of a stupid dog barking at a vehicle that is ten times their size and trying to run in front of it because they have a massive ego issue to stroke.
unfortunately this is most drivers, something that will not exist once every car on the road is automated.

There is WAY TOO MANY A-hole drivers in this video to comment on except at least half of them should NEVER be allowed to EVER legally drive Again!! The description at 41:25 Couldn't be right as doing at least 60+ in a Tanker Filled w/gasoline through a intersection of a busy city even after 1am is not sane behavior or was it an act of terror being planned gone wrong? this truck was a bomb!! So there seems like more going on than is being told.

to me it looks like the truck is going roughly 40 mph, which is normal speed of that road, and because you pulled my attention back to this video i played it over and over again more than a few times, and i found he was swerving one car so he moved to the right, and but he overcorrected and tried to fix it as he tried to turn left, but by then it was to late as the other end of his tanker started to sway and pull the entire truck to the ground.
i don't think the tanker is a bomb, but simply because it was a tanker it is a bomb by how it hit the ground but not intentional at all.
but i agree with your other comments about many of these drivers shouldn't be on the road as they all suck at driving, the thing is most people on the road are like this, and unfortunately because most people don't know how to drive properly, especially all the morons on their cell phones constantly, this shit will continue to happen until every car is automated on the road.

I think that applies to the rest of us as well. I see big semi's doing the same thing quite a lot, but no matter who they are I do everything I can to let them in. They made a mistake but there's no need for anybody to pay dearly for it. I would like the same courtesy. Patience and Courtesy. Courtesy may slow you down a bit, so you have to be patient. I know it's not so easy to slow down a big truck, but usually one can see well in advance what is going to happen and proactively prevent it.

Westbound I40 so close to Memphis but not in Memphis that the city police responded to this. The three lanes were going down to 2 for construction with right lane the one being closed. I'm pedaling my freight shaker down the highway in the lane next to the one that will be closing.
Then come the " Right lane closed ___ miles." Well for this closure they used the concrete barriers instead of the orange plastic ones to close off the right lane. All going fine until a white car decides to try and pass me on the right just as the concrete start slowly closing the lane. I looked in right mirror and saw the car being squeezed between my wagon and the barriers. That car then got caught by my tandems and started bouncing up and down, saw the drivers side mirror fly higher than my trailer. ( still wonder where it landed). Saw a passenger in the rear behind the driver move fast to the other side of the car.
Out of construction I pulled over and got on the Qualcomm and had dispatch send the police, the car was behind me. Well the cop shows up and I see him talking to the white car but stay in my truck waiting for him to get done then call for me. He comes up passenger side and tells me to bring my paperwork back to the white car. There along the driver side are my tandem marks like Spirograph from bumper to bumper.
But it gets better. The cop asked me what happened and I told him, damage to their car backed up my story. The cop then handed them back their license and such and told them to leave. What happened was they tried to tell the cop that I put them in the barrier because I did not move over when they tried to pass me. Told the cop I did not move over because I was not going to push the cars to my left out of the way for them.
But it gets better still. The cop told me that he gave the woman tickets for unlawful passing, unlawful lane use and unsafe driving. He went on to tell me that she said they was going to file a lawsuit against me and my company ( ACT). Cop said he told them they will lose and I would have to shut the truck down and come to Memphis for the hearings. They would have to pay all my expenses and the cost of shutting down my truck which would be about $1,000 a day. I was an O/O.
But it gets better still. The cop told me that their car insurance had expired the day before and they were on their way to renew it when the accident happened. So the cop gives me the report number and sends me on my way. Before I made the Petro in West Memphis my Qualcomm is going off " CALL SAFETY ASAP!"
I pull into the Petro and call safety. Well the driver of the car had called ACT and told them that I caused an accident and the police found me at fault. They demanded ACT send them $25,000 right away or they would sue. Told safety what the cop told me, I was not cited nor found at fault and gave safety the cops number/name and report number that was on the card he gave me. Safety told me to call back in 15 minutes.
I called safety back and was told I was in the right and that they tried to extort money from the company. Safety " We told them to fuck off and sue us." We never heard another word from them.

It has been known as "Bloody 93" for decades. The only two other highways that has claimed more lives is State Rt. 19 from Nogales to Tucson and Hwy 40 across Northern Az from California to New Mexico. Nowadays Hwy 10 from Casa Grande to Tucson is trying to get first place. It has just in the past 20+ years that 93 had portions of it widened to double divided lanes. Still, some of it is two-way single lane traffic. Little white crosses are everywhere. People stay in Vegas for the last minute and then try to see how fast they can get to Phoenix for work the next morning. Some don't make it.

i agree 100% especially the part about the camera not picking up the plates number, sometimes we assume the camera will get all the info, but it's always good to speak the numbers and what model the vehicle is and even the color, because sometimes even the camera has a shitty view and it won't pick up all the needed shit.

Depending on what State you live in, no one has the right-of-way in a motor vehicle. There is no automatic or legal right-of-way in Texas and other states. Right-of-way is given, not taken. First responders do not have the right of way which is why they use lights and sirens to request for the right of way from other motorists. If a motorist does not yield the right of way to them they are obligated to take evasive action to avoid an accident.

I let them know they can file away but this cam is gonna have the goodies on you because I will NEVER be at fault in an accident even if I gotta take it to a jury trial which I have done in the past. yeah little things like checking the time a light is amber and knowing the stop line law. most LEO's do NOT know that under dry conditions that light needs to hold for at least 1 second for every 10 mph posted. none of them do. but that dashcam knows! little things...

30ish years ago I was the 4th car back from a light, turning left. There was a huge break, but the first car was having trouble getting it into gear. The old stutter stop effect, but after a few tries she managed to get the car going. By that time there was an F150 going 45mph the other way at the cross walk. As she started turning I yelled "it's too xxxxing late!" The guy in front of me heard me and looked back. Sadly the young woman was t-boned just behind the passenger door and her car did several 360's in the air. I never learned what happened to her.

A quick story. When I was around 10 years old, I was kicking a can in a parking lot and ran into a parked trailer. I was actually in the parking lot of the hospital on my way to visit my dad after a back operation. I told my dad, "I didn't see it". His reply, "No. You FAILED to see it".
While there are certainly plenty of occasions where one might not be able to see a tractor-trailer, the majority of accidents involving 18-wheelers are due to negligence from one party or the other. Now that I think about it, this applies to pretty much all accidents.
