I feel NO remorse for Idiot Bikers ... You want to " Act " like Race Bike Drivers, Go to a G.Damm Race Track And Pretend you are a Race Biker... At least then you don't take out Innocent people doing STUPID Stuff....
When a Biker PoPs a mirror off another vehicle don't they have any clue that the debris might just hurt/kill another rider who might hit it? Seriously, busting sH!T off & leaving it IS a major nightmare for those on two-wheels. peace
Here's a tip for all you inexperienced riders out there (45+ years under my belt accident-free). There's ALWAYS a reason why traffic in front of you is slowing down. You need to figure out why that is before you make your move - and slowing down with the rest should be your first thought and reaction. The life you save....
The word's here are "situational awareness". I too have been riding a long time (1970) accident free and though I hung up my leathers last year, riding a motorcycle taught me a ton about defensive driving.
@@potrzebieneuman4702 And that can happen easily on a non-ABS linked bike while riding with your feet on highway pegs away from the controls. Suggestion: avoid doing this around town.
i think your right ive seen alot of them take the worst lines that a kid playing gt 4 on ps2 wouldint even do or thier goimg 160 mph weaving in traffic or always taking a turn to fast just saw one were they were in the angeles crest and bro took a corkscrew that had a visible 15 MPH sign about a 2 mins before the turn bro took it at 63 💀then said he crashed bc a car behind him was to close and pushed him outwards, replayed the go pro footage car was about 2 carlenghts away 🤣 lol bikers have this uniquie napoleon syndrom thing going idk and oh boy if they perceive you cut them off in anyway saw this other one where like a big ram powewagon was towing a boat and was just out the line not bc he was driving bad but he had a pretty big trailer and boat the biker got right up to his window ,flipped him off revved his hairdryer then sped off like what if he crashes then rolls under your car now its a whole thing you just got dragged into bc motorcycle bro thinks hes in the english countryside and is a trained racer able to get 65° lean so yes id agree with you sir 👏 👍 🙌
love these excuses too @21.12 (lost traction bc road was colder than usual) literally dog ate my homework like na your just a dumbass on a deathtrap 😂 like if that was true why didint the other guy spin out, maybe dont take the turn like a beamng AI
There have always been people who have no business on two wheels, but TH-cam has definitely helped create a proliferation of dangerous and disrespectful riders.
Especially the idiots who never learn what that lever on the right hand side of the handlebar is used for. Once you see a big puff of smoke from the back tire, you know how this is gonna end.
All the biker BS explanations for their accidents can usually be replaced with "I was riding too fast for the situation and lost control of/couldn't stop the bike."
In fairness...too fast for conditions, resulting in loss of control is pretty much ALL "accidents". The problem is that successfully riding a bike safely and competently is something that requires a mindset, skills and a level of attentiveness that so many people lack. Forty years riding two wheels, and I never go out without high visibility, reflective clothing and helmet...I simply don't understand flat black helmets and all black riding gear.
"Riding too fast" is a swap out for " I have no riding skills and can't take corners" you'll see very few where too much speed is the main factor on corners
Incredible how vulnerable people on bikes/motorcycles are yet 7-8 times out of ten they act like their safety is everyone else's responsibility Or the mindset that only they are allowed to take up entire roads and intersections All it'll take is someone in a large SUV or truck to get angry enough then they might as well be as good as road paste
I'm proud to be one of the other's. Only one wreck in 30 years and it was not my fault. Never had a ticket that was legitimate ( one for speeding that was BS ) I wear full gear. Practice a lot and pay attention to traffic laws, motorists and pedestrians. And I still have fun on my motorcycles. :D
27:03 Hey Chris, your girl not wearing a helmet is nobody elses responsibility and if you don't want people being angry with you then don't drive 10 mph below the speed limit on purpose. "I don't do this every time" is also just about the shittiest excuse you could have made for doing that while in the wrong the whole time.
The exact type of person that really makes me hate bikers. Not all are like that obviously but honestly the majority of them I see day to day are like this.
"I was the idiot today. Slow down. Even if you think you're going slow enough. Hopefully someone can learn from my mistakes to avoid it themselves". TREMENDOUS respect. Well done. I salute you
it wasn't speed, it was target fixation, and fear of leaning the bike that caused him to hit the curb. He's not an experienced enough rider to even know what he did wrong.
@@Ramblin_Dan IDK, he says in the video "i took that too wide" which is true. I ain't even a biker yet but it certainly seemed like he was focused on "not hitting the curb" instead of "taking the turn."
5:18 I've known bikers who say when they ride with an idiot, they never invite the idiot back to ride with them again. The "only smart one in the group" should find a new group of bikers to ride with. I saw him shaking his head in disgust at his fellow bikers.
The ones that really bother me are the lane splitters (in CA it's legal) that are going way over the speed limit when traffic is slow and expect people to react or stop on a dime for them. GTFOH.
I would love to be able to lane split, but I know the reality that will result. Most people would simply ignore the fact that they are to travel no faster than 10% of the surrounding traffic, and chaos would ensue.
Lane splitting is legal, but going at an unsafe speed while lane splitting is still illegal. If traffic is slow or stopped, don't go zooming past people like someone about to crap their pants.
That's why these 2 recommendations are made: 1. Never travel ten miles per hour faster than other traffic. The danger increases at higher speed differentials. 2. When traffic flows at thirty miles per hour or more, do not split lanes. Most lane-splitting accidents occur because the motorcyclist is disregarding one or both of these recommendations.
As a motorcycle rider I always wear full protection, ride defensively, try to be courteous, ride responsibly and avoid riding in large groups especially with people I'm not familiar with. As I don't want to be held accountable for someone else's bad riding habits.
@harveyalan788 lmao no sir I have not. I'm 50 years old and ride a chopper (cruiser). I Cruz. I ride in traffic like a car, no fast excelleration that causes accidents and my bike turns like a limousine...
Bikers always want to blame others - newsflash your survival is YOUR business. Stop being so damn stupid. Nothing but a nuisance and almost getting yourselves killed! Mindless.
Biker's always have an attitude, be it good or bad. They don't respond well to others in traffic at times! Always acting like they weren't the ones being stupid till they see the video's later on huh? They get Butt Hurt real easy!
I'm just going to say it,, motorcycles and bicycles are a-holes these days. I rode for years, and nobody acted like people do these days. We had our fun, but we were never a-holes 😊
I HAD to ride a bike to and from work and there were a lot of road ragers who tried to run me off the road. A few who yelled out the window. I always followed applicable state and city laws but no one was educated enough to know I was in the right lol.
@@AdequateName. That sucks, and it's why I won't ride a bicycle on the road at all now. Not anywhere. I won't ride my motorcycle in my county, either. The motorists aren't particularly mean, but they drive like they're suicidal. No respect for the laws at all. Not even any self-preservational instinct. I take the bike out to ride in the nearby rural areas, and I make it a point to be back home before dark, as I have to be able to make eye contact with them to be sure they see me. A lot of the cars in my county are beaten all to Hell, and look like they've been in a demolition derby because the drivers are so incompetent, and the car insurance rates have gone through the roof. I feel bad for anyone who has to ride a bike or scooter where I live and work, as it's really dangerous.
I’m interested in the logic that tells a police officer it’s ok to use deadly force on a guy fleeing from a traffic stop. I mean the rider is wrong for fleeing from the trooper, but the trooper violated policy which reads: "PIT should not be utilized on trucks carrying hazardous materials, pick-up trucks with passengers in the bed of the truck, vans or buses occupied with passengers who appear to be victims, or motorcycles." PIT is a use of deadly force. The trooper was unjustified and violated policy. I wonder what his punishment was.(if any)
That guy was a stone cold idiot. What made him think he could possibly squeeze between those two vehicles that were obviously closer together than the other vehicles he had passed between?
The spikes on the truck ripped his foot open😢 because the gap was too small for him to fit...c'mon riders don't take stupid risks just sit in traffic or don't ride when there's too much traffic, it's simple!
@@A-FrameWedgeShould’ve, would’ve, could’ve doesn’t matter after the fact lmao if he would’ve been patient he wouldn’t have gotten filleted. That’s his own fault.
Im sure someone out there is loving if you kids gets hurt too. There are retarded people everywhere. But when you start wishing someone to get seriously hurt from something they love doing, then you crossed a line you shouldnt be crossing. Plenty of morons on bikes, dont be "that guy" who wishes harm upon them.
I watched a lane splitter pass by me then less than 50 feet later I saw him laying on the side of the road, bike in really bad shape. Oh, lane splitting is ( wait for it ) illegal here.... LMAO so he got more than just Karma. Is it bad for loving what happened?
Fortunately/Sadly no one vehicle type has exclusive ownership on dumbass operators, even if the sins committed vary widely. I remember regularly riding a motorcycle to work in Austin Texas USA back in the late 1980's - well before cellphones were mainstream and smartphones were even a gleam in Steve Jobs eyes. The bike I rode allowed me to sit high enough I could look across into full and mid-size trucks and down into sedans/stations wagons/hatchbacks. Many of the men would have the morning paper wrapped around the steering wheel, reading it as they "drove" to work. Many of the women would be doing their makeup, mascara, and eyelashes as they also "drove" to work. Many are the people who think driving isn't really doing anything - until suddenly things are going very very bad, they have no clue why, but it must be the other persons fault.
As a cyclist I second this and I need to remind everyone that just because you can do it, doesn't mean you're good at it. Keep that awareness pumping along with those legs
I had a bicyclist rudely gesture me on a country highway where he was supposed to yield to vehicle traffic that had a single bicycle trail that intersected with the highway. A county highway in the United States where someone could pull over and shoot you off your bike out in the middle of nowhere and drive off and probably would never get caught. The arrogance of some people is astounding.
I don't know why, but, bicyclists seem to be way worse than motorcycle riders. They will just pull out in front of you without even looking, they will ride out in the middle of the road around a blind corner, they will do erratic movements like some crackhead tweaker. I'm surprised there aren't more bicycle vs car crashes. This being said, SOME cyclists are good, just like SOME drivers are good and SOME motorcyclists are good. Sadly, the majority of drivers and riders are idiots it seems.
As someone who has to constantly endure the Tour de France wannabees here in rural England, I am absolutely loving seeing all of the idiots on bicycles, etc. We have them here, too, especially once that hallowed race begins. Lard arses in Lycra abound throughout the land! Ugh. That fabric ought to have a weight limit.
Deffo best comment! Likewise I have to suffer the 'spandex spastics' on the country roads by me. If you wanna dress like a super hero.... do it in your own home!
Exactly. This whole "Don't dress for the ride, dress for the slide" mentality is utter nonsense, I put more weight in dressing so that other road users see me. Forty years riding two wheels, and I never go out without high visibility, reflective clothing and helmet...I simply don't understand flat black helmets and all black riding gear.
7:30 At that moment Cody learnt 2 valuable lessons. 1. Dont ride like an ass 2. Your ass takes less damage after a crash if you use good quality riding gear.
i like the BS that comes out about bad tires, obstacle in road, mechanical failure... which all mean "i was going too fast". inanimate object just jumped at me out of nowhere, wall was in the wrong place, wrong type of road. physics were off
When I was in California I watched a bunch of bike races at Laguna Seca, and the speeds were insane but what was even more impressive where the crashes that people just got up and walked away got another bike and started riding again
I was coming home one evening, single lane road each direction. Road was winding uphill further outta town into the mountain neighborhoods. 45mph speed limit, traffic slowed to about 10mph for about 30seconds. Traffic was kinda backed up, it was rush hour, everyone was heading home. A dude on his Harley right behind me got real impatient and kept revving his bike, as if that'd make the traffic and myself drive faster. He started swerving out into the left lane like he was gonna pass everyone. He finally saw his window, decided to pass a 10 car stretched that was strung out about 50 yd ahead of me. He punched it, but he knew within seconds HE HAD FUCKED UP. But he was a tough guy, and this was NOT going to stop him! Instead of tucking tail, and try to get back into the right lane, he said FUCK IT and punch it again, speeding up around a blind curve trying to get ahead of the lead car. We all had front row seats to his stupidity and its consequences. And we were likely all wondering if there'd be a car coming around at moment. And sure enough a vehicle came around the corner in his direction, he tried to tuck his bike back into the right lane as he also skidded with all brakes locked up. His bike caught the right pedal b/c he started to lay it down as he also tried to skid back into the right lane. The right caught the asphalt flipped hard to the left side, caught that pedal on the ground and catapulted him about 25' forward over the left lane through the turn. He flew like a passed out man, a rag doll... head first into the embankment. He snapped his neck and folded in half backwards in front of everyone. That was it. Bunch of cars stopped to assist. Not me, b/c I was about 8 cars back. I drove on by and saw his limp dead body lying upside down on the embankment. He looked cool with his legs above his head, and in a crumpled state... in his t-shirt, jeans and leather boots. I proceeded to head home for a nice dinner, and went on with the rest of my life. And I thanked him for reminding me not to allow ego to take over when driving, and especially not when I'm on my bike. Next morning someone had put up a small cross there.
Good friends younger brother was out riding with a girlfriend on the back shorts t-shirts and they fell over at a light and got pinned with their leg up against the hot exhaust manifold. 4 skin grafts later, and he doesn't wear shorts anymore even in the summer.
That's because they buy a "sports bike". Thinking they are race bikes. No they are only modeled after race bikes. A regular bike covered in the race bike style plastic.
@@danor6812 Not that simple. Most sport bikes absolutely do have that power and the chassis, what they are missing are the suspension and tyres to go with it, and most people are completely ignorant to that fact. They'll get up to 200+ mph on a freeway and wonder why they got speed wobbles when they wouldn't even be allowed to do it on the track with a fresh off the show room bike.
@@danor6812 Unfortunately some of them are almost race bikes. Many sport bikes here in America will literally go 186 mph because that is all the government will allow the manufacturers to build. The problem is that people get bikes that are close to being actual rice bikes and then ride them like the public roads are race tracks.
DUDE, the guy at 5:34 KILLS ME. As soon as he started turning i was like "LEAN, LEAN, LEAN" as i KNEW he was NOT making that turn. He didnt even lean the bike NEARLY as much as he should have, he must be new and SCARED TO DEATH to actually lean the bike like so many people are. LOL.
I teach everything from beginners to advanced riding/track days. You'd be amazed at how many riders rate their riding as a "8 or 9 out of 10", but actually ride at a 3 out of 10 level.
7:03 This rider was *always* going to crash, but to take his friend's Supra out with him? Gut-wrenching stuff. Glad nobody was killed & it was a wreck between (former?) friends. 💯
When you lane split, you give up all right of way. Every car you overtake has right of way, including changing lanes, signaled or not. I worked for a district court and got to hear the judges explain to every entitled motorcyclist who appealed his ticket that they were in the wrong no matter what because they were lane splitting. Even though it is legal in California that doesn’t mean it comes without responsibility for the motorcyclist to obey traffic rules.
Even in the localities that it is legal to do so... about 90% of the people doing it aren't doing it correctly anyways. The difference between the speed of traffic and the lane splitting vehicle shouldn't be greater than 15mph, and they shouldn't be lane splitting if traffic is moving at least 45mph either. I just chuckle when I see these bozos collide with a vehicle because they aren't doing it properly...
Good to know! I just watched a video where a girl was lane splitting at over 100mph and blamed the car that was changing lanes. Over time, the story got more dramatic. “They were swerving all over the road.” “They were swerving all over then they just suddenly crossed all the lanes and went in front of me. Freaking psycho!” 😂
14:50 at least he's smart enough to be doing stupid things on a racetrack instead of the street 15:00 Bicyclists vs bladers, the epic struggle of who can be the more pretentious asshole
I made some pretty nice steel mirrors with 5/8" bolts. They look just like my stock mirrors. A biker tried to run me off the road and I carried my lane, and no one was in front of him either. He didn't like that too much, after he just side-swiped me in rush hour traffic. I was cruising with my cruise-control set to 6 over the speed limit on the freeway, in the right side lane. He tried to knock my mirror off and nearly took his arm off. He wiped out at over 65 mph in a 55 mph zone. I showed the officer the footage and he said I was 100% in the right and the biker was ticketed for Reckless Endangerment on a Public Highway and arrested. It went to court and he said that I hit him. The Judge disagreed and held him liable with no awards. The court placed a bench charge on him for Felony Vandalism after the footage was watched. He was taken to jail. After about a year. I saw the same guy on a different bike. He went by me and flipped me off and then was pulled over and given a ticket for road rage, BY THE SAME COP. The cop laughed and remembered that I was the guy with steel mirrors and chuckled, shook my hand. Never saw the guy ever again. Funny thing to note, the cop lives 2 doors down from me and we have barbecues every once in a while. All because of a dumb ass biker.
Sounds like a dumb ass. There are dumb ass car drivers too, A LOT MORE dumb ass car drivers so don't get so cocky about having an encounter with a dumb ass on a bike. In fact probably 100% of these bikers you think are dumb asses are also car drivers. Nothing about riding a bike means you only ride a bike. Dumb asses in cars are much more numerous and less likely to also ride bikes.
Observing 'Best of Idiots on Bikes' serves as a reminder that responsible riding is crucial regardless of location; let's promote safe biking practices and road awareness for everyone's well-being
@51:50 - cop just needed to flip the kill switch and then the key - if the bike was stolen and hot wired neither of these may have been an option - but most of us riders have flipped the kill switch on a buddies bike at a redlight. Usually on the right side near the grip.
If you mean stopping to help after a fact and not involved I kinda agree with you but the reality is the law will pass some of the responsibility onto the motorists unless it’s clearly an accident, if involved. I really dislike most people on 2 wheels
I NEEDED THIS SO BADLY. I’ve been watching too many compilations like this but gruesome bad crash versions and it’s too sad… very educational but I needed this so much lmaoooo
Yes there WAS a concussion at 1:02:28. The guys arms were stuck in the air after the wreck. He may have walked away but he was DEFINITELY concussed afterwards
Cop @25:49 should be sued - the city should pay BIGTIME! And then the officer should be personally liable and lose his implied immunity. He swerved back and forth not allowing the motorcycle a means of avoiding a collision and then he intentionally wrecked the biker. CRIMINAL!!! If he had blue lighted the bike and afforded him the opportunity to pull over he would still have a job. You can tell he knew he did wrong because he suddenly starts lying about the bike tailgating him. HIRE AN ATTORNEY TODAY!!! The cop should be unemployed and as a representative of the police department the entire department is praying this blows over - get started today - people watching - send this to attorneys everywhere!
@@Iser4482 He rearended the cop car. Even after saying whoa why you brake checking me, he went on with no caution. The biker was absolutely weaving and following the cop who was hauling ass. Not saying the cop handled right at all, I'm saying he had lots of clues that he should back off of a car that is acting erratically. He even debates if it's a cop then has time to comment on being brake checked. My comment was about the biker ignoring multiple red flags and still following to close to stop.
9:00 That was NOT target fixation, that was the Cammer on the bike cutting the corner too much and he went straight into the side of the road coming out of the curve. Bad riding explains it.
26:41 the problem for the motorcyclists is the last paragraph mentioning v2 police car. He flashed his brakes TEN seconds BEFORE activating police lights 5 seconds before impact. So his 2 brakes light applications in that time span might be sufficient warning time before the sudden stop considering v2 relative location during the video. I don’t see it going well for the biker since the 80 to zero speed of deceleration is considerably faster than a cars ability to stop in the same amount of time after brakes are applied as he may be told that he should have been slowing down before v2 first brake application, or at least as soon as first flash was ten seconds before impact.
Was predetermined act from cop to conduct to an accident because he have the safe way to perform a traffic stop letting him pass take note of plate and conduct a proper traffic detention. This need to be issued to change the dangerous perform of that cop. Cops have to be a model of conduct to others and with this acts allow other drivers to do the same thinking they are right when they are not.
Those emergency lights came on about 2 to 2.5 seconds before impact, I don’t know how you got anything close to 5. Not a lot of warning for brake-checking at highway speeds. Coupled with terrible scene safety/management after the first crash, the officer made this traffic stop needlessly dangerous for the biker, in addition to the general public.
It's amazing how many bikers ride like they own the road and it's automatically a car's fault when there is an accident. Even if an accident would be the fault of a car you can't assume you would walk away from it without serious injury or at all.
13:54 At least one road rager almost cost the life of someone he wasn't even raging against. Thank goodness that biker managed to hold it. I'm only 14 minutes into this video, and I am frustrated beyond any car crash video I've ever watched. I see bikers who apparently don't care about their lives, and cages who don't care about other people on the road. My husband is a biker. He's had numerous people pull out in front of him. His brother was seriously injured when a car pulled out in front of him, and he couldn't stop in time. I wouldn't worry so much about my husband riding his bike, if it weren't for the idiots who aren't paying attention. My husband won't watch these kinds of videos, because he doesn't want to see. I used to ride with him. After a couple of close calls, I don't anymore. And I wish he'd sell his bike. He's 67 years young.
I just turned 70 - did a 6K km trip this spring on my FJR1300 - epic! The shore of Lake Superior (Hwy 17) is truly something to inspire awe. You want to do your husband a favor? Buy him some lights, good lights. Bright lights are very hard for even the dopiest cager to ignore. Bright Lights Save Lives!
It's probably time for him to sell (unless he rides uncrowded country roads). With all of gen i and others (i.e. food couriers, ubers, Amazon drivers, any tradie in Australia, etc ) now on their phones, there's a huge lack of awareness and overinflated driver entitlement. It's the worst I've ever witnessed and patience levels are also the lowest. As a result motorcycle riding is now easily the most dangerous I've experienced; and I've only been doing it 25 years - so far happily/without incident around Australia, New Zealand, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Canada and the U.S., Hawaii, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. Take care bud
Zero simpathy for lane splitters who get hurt. Cars/trucks have enough to look out for and don't need to worry about an idiot going faster than traffic, zipping between vehicles.
See the sky highway gets plugged up every nice weekend and especially on holiday weekends like Victoria day. And then you start seeing the motorbikers using the shoulder where the cycling Lane is, and get pissy when people call them on it
Surprised nobody has mentioned how stupid rider at the 25:15 mark was for not reducing his speed because it was very obviously a cop. What they (undercover cop) did was a warning which is so hilarious especially since he WAS driving reckless at 75-81 mph for zero reason
He was paying more attention to showing off and filming than on his driving! His ego got in the way, even when the cop was practically screaming ‘dude, slow down’. I’m glad he realizes how lucky he was.
@@karenneill9109 while the cop usually has qualified immunity when acting stupid or reckless, that's enough defense. You guys don't need to do it for him. This is NOT how to conduct a traffic stop safely, also NOT how to issue a warning. I hope the cyclist sued - even if he was found to violate traffic laws he seems to have a good civil case.
And so the bikers wrongs completely excuse the cops actions? There are ways to give a warning that don’t cause one accident, and then risk further accidents. The cop is power tripping, or incompetent, idk which is worse. So yes, the biker was being reckless. The cop was also reckless, and he’s supposed to be held to a higher standard, the “protect and serve” bullshit
7:30 - is your car ok? yeah you just made its day it loves haveng nob heads on motorbikes ram into the front end, he was getting depressed thinking that we might make all the way to work without a single motorbike smashing into the front end but thankfully "YOU SIR" you saved the day and smashed it good 🤣
I love how the biker at 25:30 blames the cop yet he had no issues speeding, lol! Both were in the wrong, but had the biker not been speeding this never would've occurred, bottom line. BTW, I don't think I saw one biker use a signal when changing lanes in almost all of these videos.
Both of them should be disciplined. Biker was speeding, driving recklessly. Cop performed the stop in an incredibly reckless manner, and was lucky to avoid causing more injury to the biker or the general public. The biker absolutely has the right to blame the cop for the actions the cop took, which was to partially cause one accident while almost causing subsequent accidents.
It's amazing some of these people made it past their 10th birthday. Society has so many guardrails in place, somehow we keep saving the very dumbest of our species. Such a bummer.
Wow. It’s good to see this stuff. I’ve done some dumb shit on bicycles and motorcycles and have vowed never to again and this compilation makes me want to double down on that effort.
2:00 love how the guy laughed and smiled it off, feel like we've all done that to knock off some of the embarrassment but it's good to laugh than cry about it lol

Some of these guys have no business ever being on two wheels.
There have always been people who have no business on two wheels, but TH-cam has definitely helped create a proliferation of dangerous and disrespectful riders.
They need to learn how to ride a bike
True. But, if the biker who did that bunny hop over the other biker would have stuck the landing, he’d be legendary.
Especially the idiots who never learn what that lever on the right hand side of the handlebar is used for. Once you see a big puff of smoke from the back tire, you know how this is gonna end.
Nobody has. Bikes should be banned
"For the situation" in my post includes the skill of the rider. @@Daytona955TM

Lane splitting is nuts, I don't like cars next to me and no f'ing way would I ever consider sharing a lane with one
Lane splitting is legal, but going at an unsafe speed while lane splitting is still illegal. If traffic is slow or stopped, don't go zooming past people like someone about to crap their pants.
I've lane split before, but only when it's gridlock and I roll through at an absolute crawl, like jogger speed
That's why these 2 recommendations are made:
1. Never travel ten miles per hour faster than other traffic. The danger increases at higher speed differentials.
2. When traffic flows at thirty miles per hour or more, do not split lanes.
Most lane-splitting accidents occur because the motorcyclist is disregarding one or both of these recommendations.

I’m interested in the logic that tells a police officer it’s ok to use deadly force on a guy fleeing from a traffic stop.
I mean the rider is wrong for fleeing from the trooper, but the trooper violated policy which reads:
"PIT should not be utilized on trucks carrying hazardous materials, pick-up trucks with passengers in the bed of the truck, vans or buses occupied with passengers who appear to be victims, or motorcycles."
PIT is a use of deadly force. The trooper was unjustified and violated policy. I wonder what his punishment was.(if any)

As a cyclist I am very embarrassed by the cyclists shown here.

When I was in California I watched a bunch of bike races at Laguna Seca, and the speeds were insane but what was even more impressive where the crashes that people just got up and walked away got another bike and started riding again
The way you broke down the topic into manageable sections made it easy to understand.
Most entertaining, thank you.

It's no longer illegal here in AZ either, but it is at your own risk. Hence why when they get into a crash they run.

@@acehandler1530 Thanks for the tip. And I would love to see Lake Superior, and all of the Great Lakes.
And then you start seeing the motorbikers using the shoulder where the cycling Lane is, and get pissy when people call them on it
It fascinates me that people are willing to treat the road like a racetrack without first learning the braking zones for that road
I love how ppl dont yeild, dont use their blinker, but flip you off for not getting out of their way
Surprised nobody has mentioned how stupid rider at the 25:15 mark was for not reducing his speed because it was very obviously a cop.
Dumbest shit I've ever read smh 🤦
@@mjouwbuis Yeah that would be an attempted murder case if the guy was a civilian
@4:18 bikers fault 100%! Should never come onto a road like that, clearly blind or dumb.
Wish they'd show bikers meeting barbed wire fences, and maybe flat bed trailers. Just some possibilities.
3:55 listening to engineering explained while in traffic ahhh feels so normal
It's amazing some of these people made it past their 10th birthday. Society has so many guardrails in place, somehow we keep saving the very dumbest of our species. Such a bummer.
Wow. It’s good to see this stuff. I’ve done some dumb shit on bicycles and motorcycles and have vowed never to again and this compilation makes me want to double down on that effort.
The ducati slamming into the mkiv supra was like the worst possible timing.
2:00 love how the guy laughed and smiled it off, feel like we've all done that to knock off some of the embarrassment but it's good to laugh than cry about it lol
All these guys are just so cool! I want to be just like all of them! Everybody knows how cool bikers are! Awesome!
