Hey, I have a question about this whole situation. It's without a doubt that the people involved here are a lot more powerful and deeply rooted in the elite social class group involved. Yes, he is the kpop CEO who has to be held responsible for crimes committed in his place of business. But, there are really powerful people involved, how else had this gone under the radar for so long? They wrapped up the case by arresting the main initiators, BUT what about the men who forwarded and engaged in this behavior????? Why is the public ok with only persecuting the idols/celebs/plebs and DONE????

Thanks for posting this. I do my best to not make a judgement or speculation without know what is what for any scandal or situation. My neighbor has a night club, and it's a middle to high-end one, which I worked at a few years ago as a bartender for a while after she fired EVERYONE. Before the change, she had no idea they were dealing drugs at the night club and giving away free drinks to their friends, even if she, and even I as her friend, went there every once in a while to check out how things were going. As soon as they knew we were there, the waiters, the bartenders, and the manager hid everything from her and pretended it was all fine. Even the freaking DJ was doing drugs. When she found out, through a friend who went to check out the club and saw the manager dealing, she had a VERY hard time suing him because they were trying to make her guilty for ALL of it so they could get away with it and not pay a dime. She actually didn't succeed. They ran away and even destroyed the place. Toilets broken, chairs, bottles, everything. While cleaning up, which I went to help out, we found a baggy of drugs hidden under a table in the kitchen. Now there's new management and surveillance cameras. Believe me, these sort of framing acts from employees aren't uncommon in the "night life." Bartenders giving away free drinks behind the owner's back happens like hotcakes. Not saying this is EXACTLY the case, but we shouldn't turn our backs on people before knowing the full story and who's speaking the truth. Damn, what a long comment. Sorry.
Aside from the case, i think every adult know whats going on in a club everynight ofc it is drugs and alcohol. Unless they never been to a big city i mean the villagers 🙄
Cool story bro, Seungri has texts messages verified by authorities to be authentic, talking about providing girls. He wouldn't have been booked without probable cause.
@@thycuteho No point in guessing. Besides not being a VIP, I clearly said I'm not saying this is exactly the case, and that we shouldn't turn our backs on people before knowing the full story. If you know the full story now and that it's all true, good for you. I'm not going to tell you what to do, so feel free to turn your back on Seungri if you'd like. I don't care.
Its frightening how most of these are speculations that have been accepted as almost truth especially among YG haters and the general public. Let the police do their jobs and the prosecutors prosecute.
MBC did a report that showed BS shareholder list. Between YH and SR they collectively own nearly 30% of BS. SR was allegedly even a promoter for the formation of BS. A promoter in this context is “a person who helps start a new company by bringing together the necessary people, finding capital, etc.” (definition is from dictionary.cambridge.org).
big bang is one of the few groups i call myself a fan of, but even then if seungri is found guilty i want him to be punished for it cause thats what justice is. however im going to stay as his fan while the investigation is happening cause yes it seems like he's guilty but its not 100% yet and i believe in being innocent until proven guilty
I've always felt a weird and unpleasant vibe from both seungri and yg ever since i first became a bigbang fan back in 2014. Obviously there's no way to know if these accusations are true or not, for all i know they could be innocent, but i don't think so :/ I just hope they find out what truly happened and the culprits get punished. Seungri get your sh*t together... Thanks for the video!
Thanks a lot for updating about Seungri. Overall of my opinion of his problem is that why that person suing him didn't sued seungri earlier while he still in the contract. Seungri removed his name or no longer to put his name on that club but why sued him now. He even takes the drugs test it come out negative he even said himself that he'll never do drugs. There a lot of nitzens/people went against him just because of the prostitution, drugs, and etc yeah I know that is not a good thing but why judge him so quickly. First, try to understand the situations there could be lies about the screen shot from a girl. It was nowhere to be found. Second, why makes him sound liked he is guilty when there not a lot of prove yet. Therefore, try to put yourself in that situation when u know that your are innocent but there people who wanna ruin everything. This is why most of Korean idols/celebrity always try to commit suicide because of depression even a small little problem. I feel very bad for him he about to go to his military duty but with the situation is not easy for him to go. A true fan of Bigbang never turn their back to their idol always stay there and protect our kings forever. Also I feel he is innocent....Seungri keep fighting and prove yourself you are innocent show those backstabber to back off. Always stand up for you!!!
tbh we all know if a normal person did this it wouldn't blow up but since hes an idol it did ive lost all my respect for seungri especially since ive seen him in concert for my friends birthday in osaka in 2017 but tbh it makes me feel sick im fighting for those women!!!
your reporting is good. Keep it up. They were shredding docs because they are so "innocent". I believed that YG had not much to hide but the shredding part just nails it. Thanks for your reporting.
Let's face it. If big people backing you up it'll be hard to get justice. Entertainment companies will immediately drop artists having big scandals. We shouldn't overlook the fact that there were a lot of unlawful acts happening inside the club. I'm still hopeful tho. That people involved get punished.
No matter what this is a big atep for the kpop and k idol industry. We finally see the light of not just the cute but the cold hard truth. Thank you for reporting in English. I've found the Korean language very difficult for me to learn and reading subtitles for to long gives me awful headaches. I'm learning bits at a time from Korean shows I'm hooked on like SNL, Running Man, infinite challenge. I'm a huge Bigbang, G-dragon, T.O.P fan. Seungri stands out the least to me, kinda like a back up singer that fades into the background, he doesn't seem to have a true talent. With all his scandals and bad press on top of bad performances, I can see him going broke real soon. Without Bigbang he's a nobody. He's makes a good MC, that's all the credit I can give him. Just my American opinion.
I was so shocked. Maybe because I am always a fan of Big Bang and Seungri is one of the member makes me feel like this is not true, someone is trying to bring him down or maybe trying to bring YG down. But their text in the group chat was just, idk, I can't believe it. I will just pray that the truth will come out and even if he's not on the right side (of course he will pay for it), I personally will always remember his contribution to the korea music industry. Of course, this is just my personal opinion.
This wholes scandal is so crazy and the fact that at the same time the R Kelly situation is blowing up too... its just so crazy. i just pray for all the victims in these situations and i hope that people i high places can be reminded that life is about integrity. like J.Cole says in Kevin's Hart 'what's done in the dark will always find a way to shine...'
Update: the original msgs was sent to Korean anti-corruption & civil rights commission because original kakaotalk msgs had stuff to suspect the police are part of it. Apparently more than thousands of screenshot was captured. Just giving ppl an update in case u guys are curious 😀😀

@@KhairulFadzlyAKarim hmm hard question. I'd say not rly. Compared to other countries ive lived in i trust korea police more but hard to say lol maybe this case will prove otherwise
Wow, at first I was for waiting hearing the final verdict about Seungri, but this definitely proves to me how big the language barrier really is. With the whole metoo in America, I could read the statements of the accussed and finally being investigated public figures myself and judge for myself. Thank you for explaining in full, I finally get it. As much as I want to believe in innocence, I want this to be fully investigated. Sure, still not judge now, but still I want to give this the attention it deserves.
I saw everything but I honestly didn’t know about the shredding that took place at YG. So is YG *maybe* one of the businessmen involved that the police refuse to release the name of......tea.
Stressed Out yes sweetie that’s whats investigations are for. The ones involved will start blaming eachother with more evidence and the shredding aswell as them closing the bar immediately is the biggest evidence that they are hiding something. It doesn’t require a genius to figure that out. Aswell as the women who will sue them for this. There are more texts that the police are not releasing due big names being involved of politicians, businessmen and police officers aswell. And this was one phone investigated. The others phones are yet to be investigated and CCTV footage aswell. So evidence darling? In this situation there is alot of it and it will either be gradually exposed or the police will be paid to shut up.
This is the start of more big issues coming out. One by one artist or public figure are getting involved and usually artist become the victim because they are the lower tier of organizations. If you know what i means right there. Seungri career is gone and many more will follow up. Hope this can be use as a lesson to young artist.

Anti-Tumblrたんたん like korea is trying to invade internationally..so..if the world is so accepting..maybe korea should accept some international advice lol. just make the whole world better and just better for people in korea too..equality, anti discrimination, etc is good!
I was thinking about this issues from a long time actually. Why Korea are separate to South and North? When I was a child, I belive South Korea and North Korea are one country.
Thanks so much!!! You are so underrated you deserve more more fans
Thank you🔥🔥
wow, I wasn't expecting such a detailed report. It was really helpful! Thank you and well done!!
Now this is what I like to hear and read to verify about actual events happening and not just clips
I really like the fact that you aren't just straight up hating on him, but you are explaining the scandal and letting us make our own decision 💜
I was critical of this scandal until Seungri was asked by the press whether he wrote the kkt from the screenshots and he replied with “I don’t remember”...now I think he’s definitely guilty, at least to some degree
That would be normal for you to think if the kkt was written recently but it was 3 years ago so you can't blame him for not remembering and it is not fair to judge if he is guilty based on that
Can you even remember a text message you sent to your friend 3 years ago?
@@natalie949821 you probably would if it involved procuring women for sex.
@@natalie949821
Have you ever sent a text to someone asking for a hooker? Or asking if your friend wanted a hooker?
While you may not remember every text you sent 3 years ago, you'd damn well remember if you texted something like that.
Bro I don’t even remembered things and it was like a year ago 😂 heck I don’t even remember what I did last week
I really like the way you report. Waiting for more
Reading between the lines I wonder who wants Seungri to have money problems?
Thanks for a cohesive and clear explanation of the issue. Too many waffling on and on instead of giving us clean straightforward answers/assumptions.
Thank you so much for this, I was so confused by everything that was happening and this really cleared it up, I'm disgusted that this is even a possiblity for seungri as he had many young fans who looked up to and wished for a 'happy, cute and caring' man like him to be theirs one day, I'm awaiting the evidence to find out if he's fully guilty before making a decision but i honestly believe that it's too sketchy and all the evidence points to this not ending well..
I am glad that you keep your personal feelings, positive and negative, aside and provide us with what is ACTUALLY going on in Korea
I want to say I hope Seungri isn’t guilty because he and Big Bang were a big part of my childhood but at the same time I don’t know what to believe or what to trust anymore, I’m just floating in the middle with my opinion at he moment.
@Mal M I completely agree with you but I just don’t want to believe it (I do believe it but I don’t want to) because my childhood is being turned upside down and it’s sad. I will continue to love and support BIGBANG and all of the members and even the people involved in this whole thing but don’t get me wrong I do not agree with any of this. I support them and hope for the best for them and Korea but I do not agree with their actions and believe they just be punished.
Stop with the childhood bullshit. People are not saints. They are all sinful, not angels like they picture themselves on tv. Only fools will fall for that shit
@Moshi Sanchz I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to anger you or anyone.
JiminsJams 🙄
I wish they inspect YG. He's so shady
pmanlicious II i know he’s hiding something I can feel it :/
pmanlicious II I never liked him!
@@Layla-td1pl yes, but the top of my dislikeness came from the way they treated Mixnine contestants. It's very cruel and corrupted. I was crying when he slander Loona's Haseul because she's my ulti bias. It's still hurt until now if i remember how she cried in that flopping show. And the way he did to the winners of that show is very nasty
pmanlicious II Even though y’all hate YG, so do I, he has nothing to do with this. Do you think there are trucks filled with evidenced Senguri? Obviously no. I know you hate him because of how he treats your biases (me 2), but don’t drag him into this shit because you have a personal grudge against him
@@scrumdelicious he clearly has something to do with it. Yg is so powerful and connected with goverment. He even built his new building and some cultural landmark without public bidding and his and his brother's club don't pay taxes. Seungri might be felt he was above the law because he was under YG roof. I believe many Seungri's business were helped by YG.
There's also rumours that seungri's approched middle school girls and manipulate them to do prostitution. Remember many of men with power like YG are pedophile. They need a pimp to provide them underaged girls to have sex. Allegedly
Excellent report- and thanks for letting international fans understand how things work- very informative!
Kim Sang Kyo was investigated by police himself. Why? FOR THE ATTEMPTS OF ASSAULTING 3 WOMEN. He was found GUILTY.
Here’s your “hero”, South Korea
I just discovered your channel, and I personally love the way you deliver the news or any information. glad I found you! ty!
xoxo love from Maryland 😚
I love how you explain things, I understand clearly. Thank you💜
This is the exact type of video I was looking for in regards of the scandal. I just want to hear the given information, not any personal opinions/beliefs since it messes with the entire story (what everyone else has been doing)
Thanks again dude, really cleared some of my questions up!
The background music in this video is a bit too loud.
Thanks for posting this. I do my best to not make a judgement or speculation without know what is what for any scandal or situation. So many people jump to conclusions and it's unfortunate bc if the person is actually innocent, their career and life is usually toast after even if they didn't do anything. I hope and pray that Seungri didn't do anything not just for Seungri but for the girls as well. Imagine being abused by someone with so much power and knowing that you can't do anything about it unless they make a mistake. I don't think I'd be able to handle it at all. Anyway, thank you for the updates. I will continue to judge as unbiasedly as possible until the full facts are released. I think this scandal with be unprecedented and I hope it gives a wake up call to Korean society and the Kpop world in general (fans, behind the scenes, and entertainers alike).
That shredding tho... what if that really is their schedule for shredding for yg 😂
woah, dude, thanks for enlightening me about the situation. this pretty much summarizes everything. btw thanks for not sharing your own opinion in between your report. you've been completely fair and unbiased regarding this issue especially not without the actual results. good job 👍
May the truth come out asap. Everything is getting out of hand. what if they just use more money to cover this all up? 🤯
The fact that he called a shredding company, says alot about YG involvement.
I was recommended this video by TH-cam. To my delight, I really enjoyed the way you present each topic. You present the positive while pointing out the negative then, another positive. Saying to everyone to wait till all the verdicts are in before making a decision. I have liked and subscribed and I will share your videos with my children. My children are half South Korean and half German. That for such informative and equally entertaining videos. Please keep them coming. ~Willow
Thanks for the info..
Hope you get more followers and Views...
Fighting ~~
I hear that GarageBand produced track in the back, we stan!
Anyways, I had no clue that this was even a thing happening. Shows how little I follow k-pop nowadays.
This topic is so hot right now, international fans are here for the tea. Screenshots and translations were really fast, so I have to rewind and pause real quick. But all in all, good video. Well thought of. Good points. Please keep us posted, oppa.
im always waiting for you posts. keep it coming. so informative
Sorry.
But by him leaving his agency, he turned his back on his own self
Aside from the case, i think every adult know whats going on in a club everynight ofc it is drugs and alcohol. Unless they never been to a big city i mean the villagers 🙄
@@lilypotter1277
No, it's not.
Cool story bro,
Seungri has texts messages verified by authorities to be authentic, talking about providing girls. He wouldn't have been booked without probable cause.
@@thycuteho
No point in guessing.
This scandal here is so mad its on the news (Uk)
Thank you so much for this video!!!
This is very informative. Thank you. 🙏🙏
Wow thx for the videos was straight to the point and explained everything well🙃
I've been looking for the details information and this video make me know better about this issue
👍
Thanks..I so wanted to know how this whole thing started. This was very informative.
Is it just me who thinks the background music was too loud to hear him. No just me okay,,
linea linn same
MBC did a report that showed BS shareholder list. Between YH and SR they collectively own nearly 30% of BS. SR was allegedly even a promoter for the formation of BS. A promoter in this context is “a person who helps start a new company by bringing together the necessary people, finding capital, etc.” (definition is from dictionary.cambridge.org).
Hey! Thanks for reporting Korean news and fun in English! Much appreciated! :o)
Of the people making videos about this scandal, you have the best thumbnails
big bang is one of the few groups i call myself a fan of, but even then if seungri is found guilty i want him to be punished for it cause thats what justice is. however im going to stay as his fan while the investigation is happening cause yes it seems like he's guilty but its not 100% yet and i believe in being innocent until proven guilty
Could you cover joonyoung scandal too please.
pwincesshXxXtanz jjy admitted to everything
Kpoptrash Dad : I still can't believe what he did....
man i’m so disappointed in seungri. great video btw. it was very informative. 0:)
Thank you for explaining this clearly and being objective.
The two things I can say right now is:
1. I’m so sorry for the girls who went through this 😭😭
2. Poor BlackPink 😭😭 such a problematic agency
@Jay1630 well technically the guy Mr. Kim was the one sued then other problems from what I heard from.
yvlb4 I just hope he goes to jail 🤷♀️
turn this into a k drama, then have seungri come out innocent (even though in real life he is not)
Super informative and very clear! Thank you very much, you earned yourself a new sub :)
tbh we all know if a normal person did this it wouldn't blow up but since hes an idol it did ive lost all my respect for seungri especially since ive seen him in concert for my friends birthday in osaka in 2017 but tbh it makes me feel sick im fighting for those women!!!
You one me as a subscriber, you have explained every thing so well
Hey,i'm really trying to focus and understand what u said, but your music was too loud 😰
your reporting is good. Keep it up. They were shredding docs because they are so "innocent". I believed that YG had not much to hide but the shredding part just nails it. Thanks for your reporting.
Amazing video! Thanks! If you put the music volume down it would be perfect.
Just one thing. Please turn down the music, it just too loud and very distracting
The music is a bit too loud. Also can you keep the text on the screen longer so we don't have to pause to read it? Thanks for the good work!
It dosent matter what country it is all countries have problems and this is definitely one. The good thing is people are demanding justice and that can change things for a better. You go korea!
thanks for this 👍👍👍👍
Man you really grinding right now.. from hunnid of views to thousand of views.. thats progress.. appreciate your work.. keep it up
Seungri just released a statement saying he is quitting showbizz so it must be really serious. I'm heartbroken
Me too I literally cried b-but still hope for the best 😖😖
@@simrannzzz yep stay strong. We owe it to him as VIPS. Let's see how the case evolves and maybe its not as bad as it looks. But he will not be returning to the entertainment industry and that is really sad
Seriously, ehh so basically big bang is falling apart :(
@@worldwideugly3753 well I think they can do it without seungri but I doubt they will. They are such a tight group, I guess only time will tell
also they cant return as bigbang anymore and will be disband because they wont be complete.🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Wow thank you for this video. Very helpful and informative. Im happy to found your channel.. i will definitely subscribe to your channel thank you and God bless you..
I know it’s just 20 seconds in the video but him sipping the tea is so on point
I even live on the other side of the world of korea and all of this is in our newsletters
Lol...the tea, tho. Great reporting! You have a talent.
If police are suspect the original may not be provided just an excel file. The police are currently comparing the spreadsheet against the original. When the police start hunting down people in the chat who knows what will turn up.
People watch to many kdrama, are korean police that corrupt?
@@KhairulFadzlyAKarim hmm hard question. I'd say not rly. Compared to other countries ive lived in i trust korea police more but hard to say lol maybe this case will prove otherwise
I think Seungri is guilty tbh
Thank u for the explaination ^^
😞😢 my fave actors and singers gunna go down in history like if yg just end if was jung suk one blackpink and everyone else going to do
I just feel sad and bad for the other groups under yg who probably didn't know about all this and had nothing to do with this
Cool i like your videos thankyou for the translation👍
Wow, at first I was for waiting hearing the final verdict about Seungri, but this definitely proves to me how big the language barrier really is. With the whole metoo in America, I could read the statements of the accussed and finally being investigated public figures myself and judge for myself. Thank you for explaining in full, I finally get it. As much as I want to believe in innocence, I want this to be fully investigated. Sure, still not judge now, but still I want to give this the attention it deserves.
I'm worried how will the kpop industry will be affected about this issue
Keep us updatingggggg!!!!!!!!! Thanksssss now i know whats really happening tq
We cannot judge people because of what we only saw on tv...
I saw everything but I honestly didn’t know about the shredding that took place at YG. So is YG *maybe* one of the businessmen involved that the police refuse to release the name of......tea.
Hadir Kabani Do you actually think there would be truck loads of evidence about Senguri 😑😑
Thanks for this information
That chat room was disturbing. Wth is going on in that club Disgusting human beings both the men and women.
This is the start of more big issues coming out. One by one artist or public figure are getting involved and usually artist become the victim because they are the lower tier of organizations. If you know what i means right there. Seungri career is gone and many more will follow up. Hope this can be use as a lesson to young artist.
Thank you for the video! But the background music is too loud. Hope you fix it next time!
Also really good video mr korean scouter ! very informative and you're 너무 잘 생겼어yo :) x
