Hello Valerie... it's a pleasure to see you again reacting to our Barefoot Princess, the incomparable Angelina Jordan... it's been a long time and I hope that everything is well in your life currently... I wish you could react to her new original "Princes of Ruins" that he performed at her concert in Las Vegas last February 29. It was a surprise for all of us who were there and I can tell you that many of her fans consider that song to be her new anthem because of everything it means in her life and in ours...

Great to see you again, Valerie 🙂 And thanks a lot for coming back to Angelina as well. This is very far from my favorite performance by her, but it is obviously just her trying out different styles of singing and different expressions. That's basically all her TikToks have really been, and we're just lucky to be able to partake in it, seeing and hearing her development. I guess others have updated you on what's going on with her career right now, so I will leave it. But if you have the time, I urge you to take look at some of her more recent stuff. It is mind-blowingly good.

Hi Valerie, been a minute. This was just a short snippet from few months back letting us all know more was coming...she is just messing around here pretty much. She has had a live 2 show event in Vegas in February, she has a new album coming out hopefully soon, is now working with multi Grammy winning songwriter/musician Toby Gad on his release of his Piano Diaries album...He and Angelina just released her version of "If I Were A Boy" , one of his songs he co-wrote, and they are releasing another new song "Bad Valentine" written together, in the near future. Not sure why you chose this particular TikTok...she again is just messing around...has released several other great TikToks recently after the Vegas concert with the piano player Anthony from that concert... to much has happened I am afraid since we last saw you. Not enough space here. If you want to feature Angelina again, there are several several dozens of songs she has done way way way better than this particular tiktok your chose.

I've kept an eye on Angelina from her first audition in Norway's Got Talent to AGT. Was huge fan of every note and her personality through the yearsd. After AGT she has had some beautiful covers and few original songs too. But the rest of what she shares in social media is not appeling to me. She has grown into beautiful woman, but in music she seems more lost than she was before. She has a great voice but I feel like she doesn't use it like she used to. But it's okay. This has been her own journey and she chooses her own way, genre, style etc. Just hoping it will lead her where she desires to be ❤
I really hate to be that person but I kind of agree with some of what you said. I think there was a shift sometime around 2021. I thought it was just her growing into a teenager. I honestly miss her jazzy warm tone that she carried throughout her earlier years, up until around after she got signed to republic records. Now, she might just be trying to unlock and be more comfortable with other tones, but nowadays, there are times where she sings and looks like she is trying to impress. I remember she used to sing so nonchalantly and that is one thing I fell in love with. She looked like she didn't try and sounded incredible. That warm jazzy tone is what set her apart from the rest. Her cover of If I Was a Boy, was missing that sound a bit in my opinion. Many have said that she is at an age where she has to appeal to others that are her age. And most 18 year olds do not gravitate towards jazz at all. She can't just do whatever she wants now, because she is signed to a western record label. I look back at her covers that she dropped in 2020 and 2021 and that is the sweet spot for me. Easy On Me, Billie Jean, Heal the World, All I Ask, these covers showcases what I believe is the best colors of her voice. She released an EP Old Enough I believe and honestly, the songs are good but they aren't the best we've heard of her. In my opinion, her best was 7th Heaven and even Million Miles, because of that darker full sound. I understand Amy Winehouse is a huge influence but there are times, especially recently, where she leans too much towards that tone rather than using her own which is the one we all fell in love with. I hope this is just a phase of exploration and that she gets to do what she wants to do. Idk she just seems like she is not as in control of her career as she was before 2020. I hope I am wrong

I was an Angelina fan but not so much anymore. I think she is trying to appeal to a younger audience. I hope it’s working for her. Just not my cup of tea.

I think appearance wise, she label had the talk with her back in 2020. She had for the most part, an older fanbase. She had to appeal to younger people as well now that she was going to be signed to a western label. I saw the change gradually starting in 2021. More makeup, change in style, colored contacts. I just have a feeling those changes would not have happened had she not signed to republic records. I don't like commenting about people's physical appearance but those colored contacts have got to go. I also really hope she sticks with that warm jazzy tone that we all fell in love with. Nowadays, it seems like she does a lot more belting and vocal tones that she really doesn't need because her voice in its simplest form is impeccable. I remember she would do covers and only add belts or nuances to decorate the song here and there, nothing too over the top. She is only 18, and moved to the western industry four years ago, I pray for her success and I hope there is no one telling her own to present herself behind closed doors. What she showcased on AGT 2020 is so special, very simple performances but huge moments in small moments. I look at her pre-2022 content and feel good about it. But these past 2-3 years make me worried about her future. She knows how to use her voice and makes songs her own, she has been doing this for years, and it wouldn't just change randomly at 16 or 17 years old of age. I don't want to sound discouraging but I think signing to a western record label may not have been the best decision. Promotion, marketing, etc is missing
