ANY SONG that isn't sung by the original singer is a cover unless the music, lyrics or arrangement is changed. In my opinion, Angelina is the ultimate singer storyteller. Thanks for your reaction Tee. Angelina told us she is working on new originals with Toby Gad. Best guess is, most or all lyrics will come from AJ while Toby helps with the music, arrangement and production. We have heard "Bad Valentine" and it is awesome.

Well,, there is a total different style that they did,, it's on her "ANGELINA JORDAN OFFICIAL" it's more of a "retro-pop" theme to it (To me),,, instead of this "classical-Jazz" I hear in this one,,,,,

Tee, I've said it for a couple of other songs but I'm changing my mind again. I think this is one of Angelina's best to date. We see all aspects of her vocal skills including higher register, lower register, holding back, belting out, emotion and conviction. Interestingly I never was a big fan of this song. It was something that was on in the background but I certainly didn't seek it out. Now, Angelina has taken the crown from Beyoncé with this performance. Not to take anything away from Beyoncé, but she sings the song very smooth and crisp and mostly unemotional. Angelina sings it with passion not only vocally, but also expressing it physically. I strongly believe this is the beginning of something great for the barefoot Queen.

Hi Tee! This is one heck of a performance by Angelina. I too was expecting to see the one called the Artist version, which actually sounds slightly different. Still, this Piano Diaries version is so beautiful.....the church, the music, the dress, and her vocals. I'm kind of surprised and a bit concerned about a few commenters trying to correct reactors about whether what she is doing is considered a cover or not. Some are doing it to the point of almost being really annoying, which can put off certain reactors from reacting to future Angelina songs. Sad to see but not much one can do. It's a cover. How can that be up for debate? Beyonce's version was technically also a cover. Yeah some these 'so-called- fans' aren't the Angels we know and love! After all the 'legwork' the true Angels have done, I hate that they might undo it all.

I really love this version of the song by AJ and have listened to it many times. But I must add that the original BC Jean version seems to be the most true to the lyrics among her, Beyonce, and Angelina. BC Jean's bitterness at the break up comes across vividly as she sings the song.
Angie's version is easily the most beautiful to listen to and hopefully will get the attention it deserves. I'm looking forward to the release of the other video tonight!
