Before some scrub says, "But it says Vaydor G35 Replica/Kit" THAT IS WHAT THE SECTION OF EBAY IS REFFERED TO AS! The actual listing is NOT a replica of a Vaydor G35. The Vaydor is a KIT, not a replica. However, eBay groups together Kits AND Replicas together. It is not a "replica" of Shaq's car. It is the actual Vaydor Kit car. just eBay's website classification puts replicas and kits together.

I think it is slightly stretched compared to the normal one. Just like how he had a Custom Gallardo built too.

Go look up the VIN. It's attached to a Fiero. It's shorter than 11 characters, which is what VINS for cars 1981 and back are known to have. A Diablo will NEVER have a VIN shorter than 11 digits. I literally was in the market to buy a Diablo a year ago (before I got a Z06 and house instead). Trust me, I can literally remember every single authentic Diablo VIN.
Just look them up on VINwiki and you'll find every Diablo ever made. That replica isn't one of them!! That owner ain't fooling anyone with that listing description! (or lack thereof)

The Superformance Ford GT-40 is considered "continued production" and is built to the same specs as the original chassis. The only thing you need to source yourself is a drivetrain. Most buyers want it to match the original, and use the 427 to do so, as seen on the listing you pulled up. I would and likely will buy/build one after retirement. The 2005-2006 Ford GT is getting too expensive. I'd rather save the 250K and have a car I can daily drive and build to my own specs that doesn't depreciate either. A GT-40 with a modern engine would get 30+MPG while making 500+HP because it's so light and has a small frontal area. While the Ford GT isn't heavy, the GT-40 is usually around 2450 lbs, a full 1,000 lbs less than a 2005 Ford GT. The Superformance sold for about half that price 10 years ago, so it might be worth buying to drive without depreciation.
For a 120k get an M5 E60 V10 put dual clutch transmission. And give it 30psi boost which equates to approx. 2000 HP. And then you have money left for Aero and aesthetic mods.
From the superformance website: "engineers went to great lengths to ensure authenticity. So authentic, that we can legally use the name “GT40”. The GT40 also carries the GT40/P chassis number and is eligible for the official GT40 registry."

some background for you on mileage situation: any 03' on title is millage exempt at this point in its life as far as DMV concerned for titling. Also THIS IS NOT A BODY KIT = its a complete overhaul 10 +/-k hours of build time of the frame and structural components. All new wiring, pillars, floors, trunk, front, side & rear windows, seating, drive handling, electronics, engineering. In which case ANY complete custom build 1 off car like this - people want to know how many miles it has held up. Very common to test for 3-5k miles before releasing it back into the public for safety and piece of mind and confidence to buyer.

I have been watching Bladed Angel for quite some time, and I finally realize that his pfp is the ISAF Logo.
Hey bladed, love the videos. I believe the GT40 has a 7.2 that Shelby still makes, and Shelby makes GT40 “kit cars,” even though they’re fully licensed and properly built by Shelby American.
Edit: also, the place that’s selling it, Fast Lanes, by far one of the coolest dealerships I’ve been to. They have a huge collection of hot wheels you can buy, along with garage decor like old gas pumps and neon signs, along with tons of incredible cars. One of the cars they had when I was there was an original Shelby Cobra 427 that Carroll Shelby signed and raced in, owner was friends with him, and super nice people. If you buy a classic car, I’d look there first.
I'll take a Superformance GT40, a Lister Bell Stratos, and a Beck 904 thanks. These Vaydors and Fierraris are just abominations, with the exception of that adorable Kei F40.
Superformance makes continuation cars that are near 100% accurate and they are officially licensed by Shelby, GM, Ford, and Caterham.
You realize the vaydor is actully a Infiniti g35 with a vaydor kit. Just buy the Infiniti g35 with a vaydor kit for cheap.

Just get a used BMW and convert it with your own ideal design of a supercar or modify and design what you think would look good. If you want to reset the miles you have to use a brand new system. Engine, transmission, drivetrain, etc. You can use the same body and vin.
For the reset miles when you are buying a car if the car is from California be very careful cause a lot of people with put on the dash saying like (example: a 2005 Isuzu box truck the dash might say it has 125000 miles but in the title is says it has 250000 miles) so at one point more likely the person sell the car the change the mileage one the car to sell more fast.

i saw a gt-40 kit car a couple days ago, it was yellow with a black centre stripe. looked pretty good but it defiantly didn't sound like it had a v8 in it. The noise was kinda pitiful.

For mileage, from what I have read - at least in my state - the mileage is based on the frame, not the engine. Even if you swap the engine the title has to show the mileage for the frame. You can disclose, more as a selling point, that the engine has different mileage. But the titles mileage is going to register the VIN number for the frame.
Edit - If you go through the process of getting a rebuilt title where they issue a new vin number to tie the new engine and frame together in the system then you can legally update the mileage to something similar to the engine miles because based on the rebuilt description its a fresh build so they see it as a new or newer vehicle.
It baffles me that you think the Diablo roadster is ugly. Most people think its the better looking one.
