Edale to kinder scout via jacobs ladder

a nice walk starting at Edale car park heading to the start of the Pennine way making my way to jacobs ladder and the long climb up to kinder scout
walking the sometimes boggy peat path taking in the rock formations then made my way back down to Edale
weather conditions wasn't great it was cold and misty at times the sun did try to peer out to give some great views

I've only been up Kinder once on The Ethel Challenge. Up Grindslow Knoll and to Kinder Low. Great hike and will be doing it again soon. Thanks for sharing, really enjoyed it.

I struggle with heights
I know you'll probably think me silly..
Years ago I did walk up Jacobs ladder,, BUT, today Infact, I've struggled to round a corner coming downwards!!!! ( approached from the moors after rush up edge)
So turned back up again and went back the way I came...
Going to try from the angle of going up from the bottom again next time 😀😀.. I wish none of it got to me.. Like you.

Thank you for the comments and just take it a little at a time there's never no rush and if you have to come back down try again but try going a few steps higher

but I often walk or run with my severley autistic son, who is very bouncy, 🤣, he puts me off.
I will have a go on my own one day.. Straight up!!
