Think you should've had a look at the 45's brakes when you moved off after uncoupling the coaches, think it was dragging rather than the brush. Uncoupling must've reset it's brakes in some way.
Hope you had fun driving the 47, i use to drive them back in the 90's on tanks trains, great workhorse. Trust me 47's are not as noisy as 37's when on full power.

I ended up watching Delirious's RE7 franchise, but aside from that I haven't seen much of his content. He seems like a well-meaning guy though, and I imagine he wanted to direct his subscribers over in case some of them are into the sims that Squirrel covers :P
Would really like to see DTG linking several of the routes into one long railway to travel on doing passenger and freight runs. Like London to Manchester, then on to Leeds. Etc.. etc
Great vid as always, Squirrel! Regarding the engine derating - as built the 47s were 2,750hp at 800rpm, however soon after introduction it was decided to reduce the engine speed to 750rpm to reduce stresses on the engine and consequently the power output was therefore reduced to 2,580hp.
Another great vid, I volunteer for a heritage railway and it was our diesel gala we had the 47 out which I was in the cab for the day hooking on and off etc. They are fantastic locos and as you say very claustrophobic in the engine and generator bays

TSW2020 is the update and 3/4 DLCs, so if there ever should come italian it might be in the next bundle, probably called TSW 2021. That is if it wont come out before that as a stand alone DLC
I remember driving a steam shunter up and down a short piece of track in the Forest of Dean. The brake handle was either on or off, and in between on or off it would spit hot water/steam onto my hand. I imagine driving a diesel would be easier.

the US has some very early diesel electrics in service but almost all have had 3+ rebuild throughout their life. most are not running old engines given EMD has made it easy to swap in more modern engines and often would allow trade in of older units to be rebuilt into more modern versions.

On most locos, you have to lift a pin to take the train brake to neutral, known as "locking it out"
