The Gale being a creep theory thing was proven false in season 5, since the man did actually have a normal job doing some chemistry shit before Gus actually chose him to be a cook
Really? This theory sounded a bit more believable than others. And after the Balenciaga incident I am more tolerant to conspiracy theories about hidden pedo references
I thought the explanation show gave: Gale was a talented man, that got scholarship from Gus, and is eternally grateful to Gus for that, was good enough, but I guess a large part of the BB audience never was a student that had to calculate if their budget will allow them to have electricity, heating and food, or having to choose between only affording two of those, because you don't really have time to work full time, if you study something like chemistry
I think Gale is probably just gay and on the spectrum. It accounts for his effeminate interests, extreme intelligence, and eccentric behavior. It’s also heavily implied that he specifically admired Walt (a 50-year-old man, not a child) as he _literally_ reads a love poem to him (very heterosexual behavior).
As for the “consenting adults” thing, that’s one of the most common stipulations people make when talking about civil liberty and personal freedom.

Surprised no one else is talking about the pool theory. It's actually super interesting symbolism of status and power, Walter desires it so much, Skyler is consumed by Walt's greed for it and Gus meticulously plans for it, killing people to have it his way. Also gives context to why Max's memorial is a fountain.
I legitimately think that it's true, and it is the most plausible theory on this iceberg.
I love it just as a symbolism of every bad thing in the show!
And, surprisingly, the pink teddy bear that was shown in the pool so many times, was not even mentioned yet.
I also thought about the connection between the blue pool water and blue meth. A house with a pool usually belongs to a wealthy family, as mentioned in the video, but here it's a metaphor for the wealth that can come from selling meth - that's why events happening around the pool are so tragic, like the outcomes of drug dealing. It's enticing and dangerous. That's the way I look at it

I'm convinced that the only reason they used Wendy in the recent episode, was to debunk that stupid theory.

The gus being able to tap into animals minds theory might explain why the fly in that one episode was such a big deal and seemingly smarter than a regular fly
The transition between theories looks suspiciously like blurry footage of a fly....
The reason why that Fly was so hard to kill is because it was Lalo reincarnated, and in addition, it had been Lalo attempting to warn Walt and Jesse about their lethal decision of working with Gus. The Fly came from Lalo's body under the lab, which Gus had planted there because he knew it would attract flies, which he knows he could tap into as an extra set of eyes. The fact is that Gus is a smart man, who is aware that in a catastrophic event, his cameras would be destroyed, but he planted Lalo's body far enough under the ground that he knows it would remain untouched in a disaster, meaning the Flies act as an extra pair of cameras in a way. Another point is Gus' story, where he mentions keeping the coati to assert dominance over it. He does the same to Lalo's soul, lording it over its former body, and having it bear witness to his empire's growth as he keeps it for himself.
In addition, Gus prefers to take control over winged creatures, as depicted by the birds. A Fly is just a smart move, and much more commonplace than if a bird had shown up in his lab. As we saw with Gus' maneuver with Marco and Leonel, he will find solutions that solve multiple problems at once, and him taking advantage of Lalo's reincarnated form as a Fly is quite easily reminiscent of these other solutions that the show has depicted as it allows him to keep track of the events occurring there as well as torment Lalo.
Finally, the writers knew that by keeping the Fly on screen for longer, they could further hammer in the question of where it had came from, and why it had been there, questions that are answered in the first paragraph. Questions that they deliberately made apparent by the length of the Fly episode because they knew they had answers for them.

On Gale being a pedophile:
In the 4th season of BCS, it is implied that Gus helped Gale with his study tuitions, and now he is quite loyal to him. We see a similar relationship with Gus and the medic that helps on Hector rehabilitation. So the motivation for Gale is quite clear.
Now the evidence for the theory is "he has a video with thai subtitles, a country widely known for child exploitation (words of the poster of the theory, not mine)" and "he is kinda weird idk".
Seems pretty flimsy to me. 3/10, maybe?

Yeah. Gale is loyal to Gus I think, even beyond the tuition, Gale is a socially isolated, naive, and tremendously awkward man who is receiving praise and attention from an authority figure. Gale was an easy tool for Gus to manipulate, and Gus may even find him genuinely endearing. I think the "libertarian" nonsense he spewed in breaking bad is just something he tells himself, like Walt "Providing for his family" or Chuck "Protecting the sanctity of the law."
The fact he said he was a libertarian increases those odds to 6/10

The pizza that Walt threw on the roof was a representation of his time as Heisenberg. Each pepperoni on the pizza is indicative of each batch of meth he cooked. The throwing of the pizza on his family home is representative of Walt throwing his Heisenberg side onto his family. Just as the pizza would eventually rot from exposure to the elements, so would Walter white, leaving only Heisenberg and his eventual death during the series finale.

HUELL eating kim is canon btw
Jessie is Walter and Gretchen's son. Walt never knew and she gave him up for adoption after he was born. The Pinkman's struggled to conceive a child of their own initially, thus became Jessie's surrogate family. Later, after advancements in fertility drugs, they were able to have an actual child of their own. This is why Jessie and his brother are not only completely different, but there's such a large age gap between the two. It also explains why Jessie's parents seem somewhat detached, yet he was so close to his Grandmother, because she never knew he was adopted.
There's my crazy fan theory. Got a few more wild ones, but that one is probably my favorite.

You may not be far off--I'm not sure Jesse is Walt's son but the idea of him being adopted checks out (among other things, Jesse has many of the same psychological issues that adoptees seem to).

I noticed foreshadowing nobody talks about, when hank peels off the duct tape on the RV, the light shines exactly where walt was shot and killed in the last episode, foreshadowing the bullet and its location
I love the detail of how you play Chuck's Theme in entries that are centered around him and Goodbye in one of the more serious theories about Gus, shows respect to the connection between the soundtrack and the characters, also adds sort of a sad atmosphere to those theories
You hear about the one where 'Better Call Saul' is just a prequel to 'Breaking Bad'? Some solid evidence but I still think its a 6/10
I don't believe it tbh. It's very common in either shows to have the same actors play different characters.
For example, Walter White and Heisenberg were played by the same actor Bryan Cranston. Betsy Brandt plays Marie Shrader, but a lot of other characters like Tori Costner (sister of Kevin Costner???), Charlotte Blattner, and Mimi.
And in Better Call Saul that's even more prevalent (must have less budget): Tony Dalton plays both Lalo Salamanca and Jorge the Guzmán. Jonathan Banks plays both Mike Ehrmantraut and the private investigator Dave Clark. Rhea Seehorn plays both Kim Wexler and Giselle Saint Clair. And most notably, Bob Odenkirk plays the protagonist James Morgan McGill, but also Saul Goodman, and Victor Withakay Saint Clair.
So just because half of the actors are the same doesn't mean it's the same universe, when even the shows individually have recycled the actors so many times.
*How could I forget, Bob Odenkirk also plays Kevin Costner (brother of Tori Costner???) offscreen at least once, and who knows how often.

I don't think the 'Skylar hangs herself theory' is correct, but I did get chills the first time someone pointed out to me what her shadow looks like and I think it would have been a great way to show us her fate very abstractly, if it was what they had intended.
The guy that came up with the "Mike is Jesse from the future" theory must've gone WILD when he saw the cold open for Saul gone where they talk about a time machine
The writers saw the plane crash theory and decided that Howard should get an even worse fate
Honestly, the pool being "alive" and the root of all the bad things that happened in Breaking Bad is quite cool if you look at it as some kind of Lovecraftian tale or cosmic horror

If you want to see something like that I highly recommend the show "made in abyss" there is one section in the manga (and soon to be second season)
without heavy spoilers a group of people are struggling to survive and finally find a water source to sustain themselves
But it's later revealed that the water was not water but a living creature and it was slowly killing the characters and driving them mad
It was so creepy thinking about that and there are other examples of Lovecraftian horror throughout the show and comic so it's worth a watch or read

I mean it's definitely true, Walt's signature meth looks like the surface of his pool before the bust it into crystals
I actually believe that it could be true but not exactly like they express it. I dont think that the pool is cursed or something but rather that it could actually hold some symbolism if you arrange the scenes where it appears and interpret them in certain way
There were a lot of feet in Breaking Bad as well. Walt on the operating table, Jane's corpse, several shots of Skyler as she was walking and also on the heated floor, and I think Saul had a foot closeup during a pedicure. I just finished rewatching and was paying attention because I'd noticed it mentioned about BCS.

You understand that bare feet have symbolism to them. Typically, bare feet symbolise poverty, vulnerability, and humility. Now I want you to go watch every scene that shows feet in BB and BCS and then come tell me that there was ZERO symbolism involved.

If I watched a TV show and I saw balloons showing up, I'd be asking myself, "I wonder what the symbolism is with balloons? Could it be vulnerability? Childhood innocence?"
I wouldn't be saying, "duh I guess duh guy who wrote this show just gets off on balloons duh."
And yeah I know that writers and directors can have a fetish over feet and I can see that being a problem is some small production like, say, ICarly and Dan feet smeller Shneider. But with productions like BB and BCS, I don't think that 1 or 2 people were capable of just implementing their fetish into many scenes to get off to it later, these shows were made with a team effort, every single person had a say in the shows production and if feet were detriminting the show in any way shape or form then those scenes wouldn't have been approved.
Sometimes the people who go out searching for things are the ones who find them... hmmmmm.

Just to make it clear for all of you: Gus decided to stop and leave on foot instead of getting in his car because when him and Jesse were in the chapel, Jesse told Gus that Brock has been poisoned. Gus didn't have that information until that moment, if you watch the scene again you can notice how Gus's expression and attitude toward Jesse changes since Jesse mentions poison. Because of that information he understands it may be a Walt's trap, and decides to leave

Yeah, Gus is a VERY paranoid and smart man. He was on his way back and realized he had left his car completely unguarded so he stopped and left.
When Gus visits hector in “face off“ he also instructs one of his guys to stay in the car. This further implies that he had his suspicions about Walt messing with his car.
In the “Walt Jr. is gay” part, you’ve missed something. Walt Jr. actually shows interest to women, he films a video when Skyler is pregnant and he involves a woman’s boobs on purpose at some point.
The guy at the laundry place even acknowledges the birds existence when talking to Gomez. Almost like he knows they're being watched by Gus.
What's interesting about the Skyler suicide theory is that the writers had considered it. There was one idea that Skyler would actually flee with Walter after Ozymandiaz since she would also have to go to prison. At one point Skyler would lock herself in the bathroom, with Walt knocking on the door insisting that he's going to fix this. Eventually Walt would force his way in and find that Skyler had slit her wrists.

9:00 This theory actually makes quite a lot of sense. According to the CDC and other groups, second hand smokers have around a 30% higher chance of getting lung cancer and it's shown multiple times that Skyler is a frequent smoker who relapses when she gets stressed.
It can also cause numerous issues in a newborn child, such as cebrebal palsy, so that could have also caused that in Jr. as well.
While all those things are true, you should remember the scene where Marie tells Skyler she hadn't smoked since college, indicating Skyler only started smoking AFTER Walt's diagnosis, and way after jr. was a newborn.

Skyler seems to care very much about keeping up appearances and it wouldn’t be out of character for her to do this.

The first time she's seen smoking in the show was out of a LOT of stress, she'd just found out about Walt's cancer diagnosis, and then there was also the meth business (which she didn't know about at the time but she knew something shady was going on). I don't think she'd have that amount of stress and worry when pregnant with jr., because back then their life was pretty fine, and she didn't have to worry about, well, anything really (ok maybe some money problems but if she still worked at the time that wouldn't have been a problem either).

The fact that Kim doesn't have a middle name isn't too unusual, but it's kinda weird that the writers felt the need to point it out like they did. BB and BCS are full of little details like that, and usually they're put in for a reason. I don't think she's using a fake identity but I wonder if there is some deeper meaning behind her lacking a middle name. Or the writers just thought it was funny.
I also didn't think much at all about Kim's lack of a middle name, but I saw a list of characters where the only people who lacked a middle name were false identities, and the fact that the writers pointed her lack of one out during the wedding scene was weird.
I don't even support the theory that she has a fake identity, because imo it seems a bit late for that (and also the fake identities always seem very volatile while Kim doesn't seem to have any problem or anxiety over her identity). But it's still weird af imo.
