@@leonardjulius6098 I remember this being one of my first songs getting into keyboard when I downloaded this off the legacy StepMania website after Plaguemix series before the revamp and the 5th version. I used to always fail this as a kid. Fast-forwarding to a decade later and now I can pretty much (almost) full combo this. I miss the old times honestly. If only I got into rhythm games much before then, I could've met a whole community that shared so much more charts and competition. Too bad this game phased out mostly. More like evolved in a way with new sets of players and different songs and rebrandings (example: FNF). I haven't played this chart in a while but I more than likely still have it - will have to dig through and do a playthrough once and for all...
you have no idea how good this sounds on a 50k + sound system. love of life, raindance......you know if you were there when this first come out.........snowball...yum yum......doves .......yum yum. eat them up yum yum
I remember mix master max dropping it and doing the sickest scratching ever with it . He stopped this toon and scratched the mad sound that was at raindance or moondance . Memories kids don't know how to rave nowadays all they do is hold there mobiles above there heads and 80 percent of knew djs think they are gods playing at a take that concert. We still got the underground today and imo it's the only thing that's holding it together. Peace I wish I could go back in time lol .

I downloaded this back off Napster in like 1999 thinking it was Aphex Twin because that's how the mp3 was labeled...went several years thinking "oh it was mislabeled it was probably some other bozo techno producer" but now I'm learning that it was actually Aphex Twin who made it
I can remember when I was 11 years old and my big brother came home with this tune on vinyl and the moment he played it I couldn't stop dancing and loved it. Till this day I still love this tune absolute banging bit of old skool

I still love this tune to this day! Still got the CD Single version packed away I believe! The bass on it is wicked. And to this day whenever I hear "Insert Coin" it's the sample from this that I hear lol
i remember when my mate brought this track, we were both smiling, it was a good feeling sorta track wasnt really played out but it was light hearted, great memories thanx moving.
If you ask the originators Techno doesn't have a description. 4/4 certainly is no indicator. It fits perfectly in to Techno and a couple of sub-genres that spun off before evolving in to Jungle and Drum & Bass.
Whoah, like 6 years ago in highschool we'd play this when we got into techno stuff. Im just now looking into Aphex Twin and this was him? weird, small world.. musically..
I still need this vinyl album single. I have several Pac-Man Fever editions, and R. Cade and the Video Victims - Get Victimized (sans poster). Awesome to hear it on here, and not just the mp3s. :D Thank you. :)
Nice one, mate. It's a good thing someone posted this track, otherwise there was a chance I might one day have splashed out silly money on eBay for it. Now I wonder what the Universal Indicator series sounds like?
i remember goin 2 a PHATparty in tha mid 90's called power pill.Pac man themed of course.anybody remember that shit?ROLLIN BALLZ OOOOO WOW MY GOODNESS!!! REDIC.
Hollow Illusion, Things that are hollow can appear to be puffed out. It's been done with masks, so when you look at the inside, it looks like the outside. Interesting visual illusion.
I wonder know if he just used the audio from his amiga, It sounds like like 2 channels of sample, the break going into a compressor / a lot of reverb, then all the bleeps on the other channel and finnally a 909 kick.
Try using the speed change option to listen to this at half speed. I actually prefer it at one third speed but the closest setting youtube has is one quarter without audio.
people have a right to opinions, but when those opinions are formed upon basic judgements like the fact that someone looks or acts weird, that's when people may turn on you. that's all i'm saying.
I remember playing this on Stepmania, I NEVER KNEW APHEX TWIN MADE THIS!!! FUCKING EPIC!!!
If you could beat this on stepmania you were a god

Listening to this and playing Pac-Man Champion Edition DX is one of the most intense things ever
Yep.
This played at quite a few raves I went too but did not know Apex Twin did it. Ahh all these top tunes , best years with some white labels thrown in.

Yes. TH-cam Compression loses you like half the song on the back end, and the driving bass.

It's one of those mad moments when you hear a tune you have not buzzed of since I was 15 thanks for making my week ♠️🏴☠️😎👍
Reminds me of downloading afx stuff on kazaa back in the day, my goodness
Should be in Smash 4
I know, right? I was just thinking the same thing!
That's not in Smash 4. But that should be a downloadable music song for Smash Ultimate.
This should have been in one of the Tekken games

Yeah man same
What a toon it use to destroy raves
the greatest pac-man remix ever.
Brings back memories of StepMania... and the most difficult stepfile that the official website had to offer. It was great.
Oh the memories!! When this one was dropped, us kids hit the dance floor.
Novelty Breakbeat Techno at its best.
2006 Pac-Man animations anyone?
@@The606Mario This is a 2001 Animation
Wait but search this amazing animated video “A tribute of Pac-Man”
I came from that one StepMania video
That's the one
Yeah I just found this
Just a reminder, this was made by aphex twin. The same guy that done the selected ambient works vol. 1, Richard D James album, Syro, And Collapse EP.
Probably the most catchy Pac-man remix of them all.
I enjoy the musical stylings of Richard D. James.

The original theme from the arcades hurt my ears. But for this one, I CAN'T STOP LISTENING TO THIS!!!!!!
Still have the 12" vinyl bought in HMV Chester back in 1992
this is what we called it in L.A back in the day 91-92..or hardcore..although I think of Rotterdam/gabber.
First heard this on Pete Tong when I was a young'un. Them was the days!
