He released over 375 tracks as licensed world wide and 970 as his childhood he was in University or middle school in Cornwall near there where he was born
Never heard this one 'till now. I think it's now one of my favorites. Aphex has so many hidden gems it's insane. He makes so many great tracks and doesn't even give a fuck if the world knows, you can tell hes an artist for himself not for an audience
It's crazy how Richard always manages to perfectly match my life situation. After years, I find a new song from him and it fits exactly with what I'm going through right now. It feels like he's been accompanying me through life, always with the right music at the right time. His sounds are always so spot on and capture the exact mood I'm feeling. Just brilliant.
Richard D James paints a wide brush. I'm sure theres a lot more music out there waiting for your ears. Hope you've found a little more music to listen to in your life in the last 6 months
Cylob, Global Goon, Squarepusher and Venetian Snares the "Canadian Aphex" have a very similar vibe. Of course not exact but that's what is so great about music. I recommend the full album especially since the second track is by Luke Vibert. th-cam.com/video/_OjkjJoWvuQ/w-d-xo.html
No joke. I listened to this on repeat on youtuberepeat for an hour while this song permeated my very being. Everyone must know the TRUTH! The matrix was an allegory! Take the RED pill!!!!!
I can understand the mostly older people now saying this isn't real music. It's true, this isn't real music, not the type of music you normally expect, with guitars, drums and singing. But this is made by a brilliant mind and it's incredible
I don't get why there are previously unreleased tracks from this Analord series. How does he decide what to include and not? I guess that's why he finally released them all, if this is all of them. They're all just so amazing! The most polished, professional, and just damn good electronic I've ever heard.
With pretty much every major Aphex release there’s dozens of songs that don’t make the cut. It’s pretty cool when we get them it’s like a bonus treat. Hope you’re doing good 12 years later lol
I remember the first releases in 2005 , every month a new ep was released .... Great times indeed. Later on 2010 ..rephlex threw us some bonus tracks ...
Correct, or alternatively to listen while sleeping and then wake up (dreaming). This is partly on purpose, Richard never produced 'loaded' but he brought ideas from the 'other side' that is more symbolic. The transcendence remains active for a while afterwards until it fades then. Peace
I love it I looooooveee it xDDD Sooo sooo much! I think it's the only track I have ever heard, that I just want soo much to go into it... i don't know how to describe it heh. Thanks for this track mr RDJ, and to you for upload and listening together! Love from Poland!

@@ezeiansignal no, I live in a street called Daimlerstraße and I drive a big flashy car (no I don't lol) it's kind of sweet to be reminded of the time I wrote that comment tho :D
@retnuHDJ I've suggested this to someone on an Aphex Twin page, maybe it was you. An ambient/electronic artist that I really like is Steve Roach. He has samples on his website of a lot of his music which is good because the majority isn't on TH-cam, I haven't searched elsewhere. I'd suggest his release "Core," since that's more electronic-heavy, although I haven't dug into it; a lot of his stuff is very minimalistic ambient.
It's just a matter of your mind acclimating to the experience haha, it'll happen anyway if you get it stuck in your head or something. The lesson here for us hedonists is that sensual pleasures aren't permanent sources of happiness, just as Lord Buddha observed millennia ago. Seek the infinite, rather than the finite, isn't it?
ah, it Does sound like Green calx. I've heard it before, and actually, I like it. Perhaps I wasn't intrigued by this song as many other of his works, but when I compared it, it indeed sounded very similar in style with Green Calx. Personally, I have a stronger impression of his music having a flow of ambiance along w/ progressive beats, that when I first heard this song, it didn't ring the bell. But I guess the big picture is, different moniker=shift in style, like vertsk8er mentioned above.
well the reason i said that was, because aphex twin, I feel like, has a lot of ambiance to his sounds, more so than I felt from this song. But it was simply a thought, and not meant to provoke hate from his fans, because I too, am his fan,

When has anyone ever said that about this kind of music
Humans should really change their definition of music...anything can be music including this, just that it sounds unusual that's all.
