A remix by AFX from the "2 Remixes by AFX" 2001 collection. I did not make this song, AFX did. All rights belong to WMG. This video was not made for profit.
I would just consider it an homage to 808 State and Aphex Twin... it is the highest form of respect for an artist. My high school art teacher told us if someone copies you, it is a great compliment to your work and you should be proud. Everyone seems pretty friendly in the electronic music scene... not like rappers having a beef with each other, lol.
The most futuristic-sounding tech I'd say is the formant vowel filtering stuff in the last minute, and you can hear stuff like that on e.g. Sun Electric's 'Eya' from 1996.
You know you're a legend when Aphex Twin makes a remix of your song that implies he actually listened to it.
AFX is the mozart of our time
I crashed my Audi last year while this song was playing
20 years later and still ahead of its time.

The song is just so ahead-of-its-time I want to hear more music that does this insane form shifting, any recs?

electronic funk only richard can do...love it
This song is a fucking event literally can't have it on without it taking control of my brain
UGH, the Speak n' Spell gets me every time... Simply amazing work, and a great remix. <3
one of the hardest songs ever created, full stop.
My favourite bit is the backwards bit at
genius, over and over again
This is so dope
Wow, why haven't I heard this sooner. Had the pleasure of catching Aphex Twin here in Ireland last year and 808 State. :D
